    Great breakdown video. Excellent commentary too. Have you considered finding an "appliance guy" who will pay you for each washer and dryer? Or, have you found that there's more money in breaking them down?😊

    My man, you do all the work to save those clips - you send them to me and I'll melt them into a bar and send the bar back to you for your shop. Would be happy to.

    The reason you get such a low price for shred is because they account for all the plastics etc that come with it. You are well within reason to remove the motor and cables from the washing machines in my opinion.

    • @ScrappingwithGrandpa
      @ScrappingwithGrandpa  5 місяців тому +1

      That is true, so yes, probably right. I should go ahead and pull in motors next time. Thanks for the tip. Good ideas

    Hey grandpa i know you been scrapping for years. I’ve been doing since i was a little kid with my dad. What’s the most amount of money you’ve found in a dryer? I’ve found tons of change in dryers

      Mr. Scrapping. That is very interesting. I actually thought it was gonna be dirty Stainless so if it’s clean Stainless I’ll start saving it because it’s $.20 more for a pound around here for clean stainless. I’m not sure how you get a dollar per pound I only get $.40 a pound for Kleen Stainless.
