Great video bro! Ended up creating a wallet during the time of this video while buying some $oDoge and $oShib, lol. Setting up my bitcoin node right now 👍

Hi I have no “bitcoin” folder (underneath bin in your folder) I see you added it later than the other files. I need the cookie path to create ord wallet
Thanks for the video. I run my own node but using Mynode as the software. Can I still do all of this? Or should I run the bitcoin core software as you explained?
Hey Paz I am finally about to inscribe an ordinal using this metod! and I wanted to ask you, How do you know how much the fee rate its going to be, in your tutorial you just inscribe it whitout putting the amount of the fee rate, it uses like the medium priority by default? there is a way to make it custom?
Hey what's up man. Amazing video, such good help. Problem is that I got everything going, but now when I do wallet balance it takes forever "indexing blocks" And to confirm when we use bitcoind it just is constantly indexing block chan right?
thank you for the info. I have a question is it possible to inscribe multiple ordinals into one wallet address? I understand that everyone is suggesting to create separate wallet for each one ,but to prove the authenticity of the work I rather have all my collection come from a single address. I would appreciate any help or comment regarding this problem.
what I noticed is if you just type: ord wallet inscribe FILE -> it will add wrong fees and your tx is stuck in the mempool. is there a way to adjust fees in the terminal with ord?
Sorry for the trouble I wasn't able to join the discord from the public server I'm on... Thanks for your help. I was wondering How many Satoshi's is it to inscribe an ordinal, with the node?
Excellent content man! Really appreciate it! I'm just getting started the space required 500GB is too large. Was wondering if I can use external hard drive? If it will affect the speed may I know what kind of speed we are talking about? Thanks a ton!
@@pazNGMI Forgot to ask one question: Can you stop downloading the blockchain half way and resume later? Because I don't want my laptop to overheat opening for days XD
@@pazNGMI Hi it's me again! Do you experienced slow download speed despite using a SSD? My speed was fast initially, but after a few session of close and resuming, the progress increased per hour drop to only 0.1-0.2%! I have 500Mbps internet speed!
Thanks a lot for your great explanation. Just two quick question: 1) is there any method to speed up the indexing blocks for the ord commands? It takes a lot; is it normal? 2) When I try the last step "ord inscribe", it seems not working. It stucks and I got no response. I need to stop with cmd+c
Hey thanks! That’s an amazing video🙏 So as I understand. If you need to inscribe more than 1 file (let’s say 10) you could use this method and inscribe them 1 by 1, is that correct? How do you send them to some different taproot addresses?
When i run the cmd for ord and try inscribing or checking balance it starts making errors and i think trying to redownload the blocks but failing in the process, I have 2 GB pruning enabled. any way I can link the blocks folder to ord?
Hey, I have an issue which I don't know how to solve. During `ord wallet balance` and indexing it stops at 465001/nb_blocks and I killall I make again, no change still blocking. Do you have an idea of what can I do ?
Bro, how to inscribe BRC 20 tokens using this node? I want to inscribe active BRC 20 mint tokens without using Unisat or Ordinal platform is this possible?
have node running and stuck at creating ord wallet - even with the cookie and command ord wallet create after - getting found argument 'ord' which wasn't expected
had this problem as well, you probably dont need the cookies file. make sure to run the bitcoind process first and let it finish its process and then use ord wallet create. make sure you close everything and start from step 1
Thanks for the great video....I'm having trouble running the node whenever i try to index using -txtindex=1 ....gives me an error saying it doesn't work with prune data
that means that your node is pruned and you don't have the full blockchain downloaded. I recommend going into your settings and turning off the pruned data setting, it should make you download the whole chain now.
thanks for the video. i tried this and found the fees are 3x higher with ordwallet and running your own node, when comparing with Unisat. most of our fees going to a wallet (not the same wallet, i tried few). if there is any way to avoid these fees (output fees). these output fees are a joke :D
If that cold wallet ever sends a transaction then there is a chance that the inscription can get lost in fees. Also, random BTC wallets, besides Sparrow wallet, cannot recover to Ord wallet, so your inscription will be stuck until someone innovates and creates a solution to this.

hey, I have been running 'ord wallet balance' for like 3 days now.. I deployed the node on aws and it came pre sync'd which I thought would be a huge time saver, but as of right now I am @705045/790544 which is crazy slow. I guess my question is did you find the process slow down as it got more current? The first 16% was done in maybe 20mins and the last 80 has been 3 days. Is there anyway to speed up the initial inscription? Do I need to run this command for every wallet or just once and all future wallets are taken as part of this inscription? & great video, I saw this from the reaction video which is pretty jokes
I'm not sure how, but I followed your steps and the indexing went to my main hard drive and NOT my SSD. It made me delete the whole thing and now need to restart. What is a fix to this? @pazNGMI EDIT: Now my bitcoind wont open. fucking kill me. Idk wtf to do.... EDIT 2: Got my bitcoind to open, and it restarted the whole index, but again in the main hard drive. It should be noted, YES I copied the correct path for the shortcut properties
