This vid is our return visit to Rubicon Ridge (Jeep Badge of Honor trail, April 2021). RR doesn’t mess around. There is a long, steep descent almost immediately past the trail head that isn’t for the faint of heart. We ended up doing it 2x that weekend as we picked up a Gladiator the 2nd day that hadn’t done it.
If you haven’t been to Hot Springs ORV Park in Hot Springs, AR, I’d highly recommend making a weekend out of it. They have camping and RV sites, and it’s just an overall good time. As it worked out, we were able to meet up with our friends from Illinois (SlickRock Offroad on UA-cam) once again.

The JK in the video is lifted on 35's. It belongs to SlickRock Offroad and it shows a good contrast to the WK2 on some of the obstacles. Most of the video was shot by my wife, but some was also shot by SlickRock Offroad.

Very cool video & you're a brave man... wish the WK2 had at least a disconnecting sway bar for better articulation! We just added a Wrangler Rubicon 4Xe to our family! Perfect vehicle for terrain that requires flex and articulation!

Ha!! We took pics of Impossible when we drove by it. We asked if they’d change the name to “D’s Shortcut,” but they weren’t game.
@@gspfunk we saw some new Cherokees make a wrong turn and go down impossible. Saw them again at the end of the day and they were all badly beaten up, not a body panel not dented or scratched and 1 was on its spare tire after cutting his sidewall.
Was this the really cold weekend before snowmageddon? If so, D was one of them!!

@@srtabc123 Yep, that was us. But only one of us was damaged. Same one who popped the bead, too. His tires were old & warn and he quickly discarded them after that weekend!
