The Jetpack Compose UI toolkit aka Anko 😂 is the best thing I love in this video. Also, the ViewBindings aka Kotlin Android Extensions is a nice addition. 😋
Jetpack library is amazing, really helpful and up to date. And it's solving the problem of backwards compatibility across all the different Android versions. However it's making our apps bigger - common components that all apps are/should be using are shipped with each app now. Would it be possible that you somehow centralise this? For example Play Store could download it once (per needed version) and then share it with all apps that need it?
Not showing the icons in gentle is not really something I like, that way I don't know whether I have notifications and I wouldn't pull down the shade if there aren't any icons now would I? The minimized notifications are fine for not having icons, but the gentle ones IMO still should, as it was in Pie.
How about stopping apps reading my contact list and modify the contact list. Most egregious are mobile wallets which duplicate each contact name to store their own mobile wallet id for each of the contacts.

Chat-bubbles are only for chat, and many don't even like those (because they appear out of nowhere, just because of notifications). adding additional features as an easter egg into slides showing up on the scene would be a good idea for presentations.
Seeing the change to ease of use for set/get methods related to the findViewById() is a great integration, glad to see it.
The start time on this seems off.
It was that way in the raw recording of all the sessions from that day too. My guess is it just didn't get recorded.
I think there is a problem with the subtitles, please check it.

Keep the option to postpone the notifications and bring back the menu from the toggles in quick settings 🙏🏼
