Tigerfan1200: Well, he only fled the police, a felony, RAN THREE red lights, and stopped for all of the others - maybe that's why they gave him special treatment...
I don't understand, why the police officers don't block him at the traffic lights stop. The ongoing pursuit unneccessarily puts a lot of citizens in danger.
Not having a license plate or not having a front license plate in a state that requires it, is not a moving violation. It is at its core an administrative violation. If it should turn into a high-speed chase, and there is damage to property, or worse yet, somebody gets hurt or even killed, the CHP will get sued, on the basis on why they didn't break off the pursuit. Breaking off a pursuit for low-level traffic infractions is policy.
@@bobbalcom2658 Rubbish. Even laws have a cost-benefit analysis. What's the harm of not having a front license plate versus somebody getting hurt in a high-speed chase?
You're right. We should be thinking about cost benefit analysis' rather than people that blatantly break the law with no regard to others around them. I don't live in California so I guess I'm pretty inept when it comes to (you fill in the blank)
@@bobbalcom2658 I will be more precise: law ENFORCEMENT has a cost-benefit analysis. Why engage in a dangerous high-speed pursuit putting innocent bystanders as well officers at risk, when the initial underlying offense is a missing front license plate, an expired registration or a broken tail light, which are all fix-it tickets, not even moving violations ? The CHP, a respected professional law enforcement organization, came to that exact conclusion, and I am happy they did. I am also happy that you are not involved in law enforcement at any level.
Californians: "Oh my gosh! They seem to be doing maneuvers in an attempt to stop the criminal. What an unusual and aggressive tactic! I wonder why they are trying to stop the criminal! Just letting him go is something we see quite frequently in situations like this." Texans: "Please don't ever move to Texas."

For all the commenters claiming the dude should have been left alone, or that it's the police's fault they started the chase... Explain to me exactly why this guy gets a pass on putting plates on this car? If you want the privileges, you have to also accept the responsibilities.
I see that the CHP Sergeant (the one in the blue jacket) is helping out with the arrest. That is rare in the CHP. I worked 24 years with the CHP and honorably retired. Most CHP Sergeants will not do that. They promote to get off the road.
20:00 🤣 An EXCELLENT ending - when he's done arguing with the LEO and obviously FURIOUS, he thinks he's going to step on it and just take off, yet they distracted him just long enough to pull that patrol car up AND he was 100% surrounded. Its funny how we see videos on law enforcement telling people its illegal to record law enforcement doing there job, but at 24:40 you see a guy literally 10 feet away taking footage of this event. I liked how the officers treated this guy.
While we watch the whole thing on TV anyway.
It's not illegal at all to record law enforcement in public.
Stop watching stupid auditor videos.
You can record, but there's a minimum distance, less than that and the cops MAY act.
You can record - at a specific distance - usually 8 to 10 feet away.
Excelente trabajo policial 👍🏻
not him becoming a passenger princess after the pursuit 😭-
3 months of walking to the US FOR NOTHING! hasta la vista😂
😂
He is probably just a hard working “illegal” citizen on his way home from work who’s afraid of getting pulled over to avoid deportation.
Who would Jesus deport?
What grown man takes a selfie 🤳 like a teenage girl looking for attention jamond!!
Kuntas!
@@steveb796 I'll ask him on Sunday .
@@davemurray2880 he’ll be at the Packers game.
They Stopped him for driving without license plates? That's no longer a crime in San Francisco.
Excellent observations Brothers in Arms and good take down !! Perfect display of Authority !!
This can't be real, like I swear this isn't real
@alanknight7912: Remember. This was in California... where the unreal is the institutionalized norm.
It's California.. it's real
Looks like they gave him the royal treatment by placing him in front of the police car inside instead of the backseat…
Tigerfan1200: Well, he only fled the police, a felony, RAN THREE red lights, and stopped for all of the others - maybe that's why they gave him special treatment...
Three meals a day without any real punishment
Ponch and Jon would be so proud of them!
There are good cops out there may God watch over them 🙏
I don't understand, why the police officers don't block him at the traffic lights stop. The ongoing pursuit unneccessarily puts a lot of citizens in danger.
This is the first time I have seen a suspect placed in the passenger front seat????????
Isn't it unusual to put the arrestee in the front?
Probably knew him
He was ok until he run through that light.
I wonder if he's going back to where he came from?
From where?😊
I think that's why he did stop
@@chelsea2513 you no
He's going to your house 🏠
'Running' your mouth and the police blocked you in left, right and center. Good job, very thoughtful, officers.
Well thanks for reminding us all that laws don't apply to us. That helps all of us. I take it you must work for CHP
Dude created a nice diversion, some real stuff was happening somewhere else
It's highway patrol, what could possibly be distracting?
Yeah, his family was sneaking in!

Californians: "Oh my gosh! They seem to be doing maneuvers in an attempt to stop the criminal. What an unusual and aggressive tactic! I wonder why they are trying to stop the criminal! Just letting him go is something we see quite frequently in situations like this."
Texans: "Please don't ever move to Texas."
Or Washington. We've got enough dirty lawless cockroaches infesting this place as it is.

"...look,..you can't be driving around with a bag of weed on you, either..! " 😳😖😳
He’s not driving casually. The guy’s car top speed is about 40 mph only. 😂
Eh that was a tricky way…. While the other officer was trying to negotiate the other officers were surrounding him
Brave but risky
He was just trying to get home from work, nice guy. 🤣🤣
😂😂
Missed this one!
Will there be another tonight ?
He's so petty for recording him record them LOL 🤣😂🤣 the close up of him had me crying LMFAO.... I was like look at him. He doesn't even know what's going on filming police cruisers 🤦 then the camera man zoomed in 🤣😂🤣
Unusual tactics for an unusual situation... It's called intelligent adaptability and I, for one, am glad to see it's still alive and well in the CHP.

Great job officers 👏
Hilarious
They all stop at a red light? And they don't block him? And the light turns green and they all start chase again? OMG
This reporting is saying GREAT JOB!!!!! Wow!!!!
I love how they let him ride shotgun!
Just seasoning the turkey before they put him in the oven.
I really wonder about why they did let him ride in the front seat. very unusual

Very unorthodox police tactics here. I have never seen that before in my 29+ years in law enforcement (I started in SoCal). But all's well that ends well.

Great work as always road angels
wow, driving w/o plates ! now, that is a CRIME worth a chase ! Duh !
Well, maybe if someone driving without plates did a hit and run on ur car, you'd think differently.
What? Since when does a suspect under arrest go in the front seat? Is this part of that whole "softer, gentler" be nice approach to law enforcement?
More of this Felix! Loved it!
One: he was going south on Hawthorne Blvd... not west. And he was in Torrance city limits at that time... not Redondo Beach.
It's like public service announcement that it's fine to run from police.

@@Ayaanhuss9 will you not shut the up?
The end of the pursuit was hella smooth 😭😭😭
Very cute cups. I think suspect is one of their families. Amigos 😂😂😂😂😂😂
For all the commenters claiming the dude should have been left alone, or that it's the police's fault they started the chase... Explain to me exactly why this guy gets a pass on putting plates on this car? If you want the privileges, you have to also accept the responsibilities.
Fun facts 90% of high-speed chases are drunk latino men trying to avoid DUI !
You don't know that for a fact, and I would disagree with you.
That is a fun fact.
They forgot to have a look in the trunk in case there is someone inside.
LOLOL, I thoroughly enjoyed this one.👍 (There's a better angle on another station where you can tell he was so distracted arguing that he didn't see the patrol car pull up - he went to take off, THEN saw it and was enraged!)
