      They know EXACTLY what they're doing. Hard to admit, but their classified police knowledge at a scene is not necessarily our business. These are not entertainment films. These are documentations of crimes for the DA.

      when the patrol car dont have cage grills, they have to put the person in the passenger seats. It looks like the officer is putting themselves in a dangerous situation, but the passenger's handcuffs are also secured to a chain underneath the seats. Overall, amazing coordination by the officers in safely stopping the guy from causing serious damage to himself and others.

    Of course nothing is perfect about the pursuit but kudos to those Officers for being so professional and not raising the energy or pushing the suspect to drive too erratically. He only began breaking traffic laws once the cops really started trying to box him in and slow him down. Even then the suspect was clearly trying to remain in control of his vehicle and didn't inflict harm upon the pursuing officers, and also seemingly attempting to avoid hitting civilian vehicles or pedestrians. I hope the guy wasn't too deep down the rabbit hole and is able to get life figured out.

    • @3rscrafting
      @3rscrafting Рік тому +7

      I can answer that question. I worked in civil litigation for 30 yrs. 100 % of their procedures are dictated from somebody suing the police in the past. Perhaps an unrelated vehicle was wrecked while in a high speed pursuit. Sadly, an officer was killed in the line of duty, so they amended their practices for not just the safety of the public, but one of their own. And if you want to test the theory, gather some friends, but walk, don't use cars. Have some people walk and be just traffic, have some people jog at a steady clip, have some people alternate running, walking, jogging, then get 5 people to be the police and determine for yourself how difficult it is. You don't know the drivers state, whether he's impaired, having a medical emergency or armed. Public safety comes first. Have little kids play along, and without warning, have them toss a ball into the roadway and then pop out on the street to retrieve it. Thru age 7, children will not look before chasing a ball or pet. It's not easy

      THAT IS NOT NORMAL, and Goes AGAINST POLICY, He took His stuff Out of his front seat, and put it into the back, so He could make room for this CRIMINAL TOO SIT In His Passengers seat⁉️
      That is NOT NORMAL, This has been a COVER UP, from the beginning, That is Why They were NOT PURSUING HIM LIKE They would Any Normal Civilian‼️
      Anyone living in That area SHOULD INVESTIGATE, GET PUBLIC BWC, CCV EVIDENCE, and Dispatch conversations between all Cops, then the Department Arrest Photos, Videos, And INFORMATION ON WHAT HAPPENED Following the Arrest.
      I wouldn’t doubt if it is ALL Buried, “Conveniently Lost”🤨, or COMPLETELY DELETED ALTOGETHER Which is ILLEGAL, and is Just Hiding The CORRUPTION THEY DID, and CONTINUALLY DO, for Criminal Behaviour That Cops like This Do on a REGULAR BASIS.😤

    Not having a license plate or not having a front license plate in a state that requires it, is not a moving violation. It is at its core an administrative violation. If it should turn into a high-speed chase, and there is damage to property, or worse yet, somebody gets hurt or even killed, the CHP will get sued, on the basis on why they didn't break off the pursuit. Breaking off a pursuit for low-level traffic infractions is policy.

      Why engage in a dangerous high-speed pursuit putting innocent bystanders as well officers at risk, when the initial underlying offense is a missing front license plate, an expired registration or a broken tail light, which are all fix-it tickets, not even moving violations ?
      The CHP, a respected professional law enforcement organization, came to that exact conclusion, and I am happy they did.
