I see many comments aiming to go to LSE and it is so nice :") I have been aiming for LSE for years! However, despite getting a school offer, I am not able to go there because I cannot financially support it. There are a lot of bonded scholarships in my home country but I do not want to be bonded for 6 years :( Was not a calibre good enough to get a LSE non-bonded scholarship too... I tried crowdfunding and everything I could think of. Think it is time to finally give up cries, dunno what else I can do. Just coming here to watch the campus video, imagining the experience of being there to pretend that I have already gone to LSE. Trying to let go :") So nice to see all the comments here still being so hopeful.

I was walking near Kingsway and heard a simmering discussion with open/free political views being expressed and argued - just like the political discussions in my young days in France. The LSE has "it" that - ....environment where thirsting for knowledge is met with evolving discovery.
I'll see you there, currently planning to pursue a master in political and economic theory when I finish my political science bachelor in my home country.

You have all your chances like anyone else. LSE does not discriminate. Nevertheless you should be a relatively good student to be able to meet their standards and get through the application process successfully Good luck :)

Mi experiencia en LSE fue también muy interesante. Pero desafortunadamente al igual que en la Universidad de Chicago, las clases son excesivamente teóricas y abstractas, parece que los economistas desean lanzar un cohete espacial y no analizar un simple problema económico. Se olvidan o no han leído un documento de Milton Friedman (Premio Nobel de Economía y profesor de la Universidad de Chicago) de que los modelos deben ser lo más simples y sencillos posibles. Friedman hace una analogía: Para jugar billar no se necesita aplicar sofisticadas y abstractas fórmulas físicas. Simplemente se utiliza la intuición y el sentido común. Y poquito de matemáticas para que no digan. De lo que me lamento de LSE es de no haber asistido a las clases de salsa que los estudiantes latinoamericanos daban a los ingleses y estudiantes de todo el mundo. Los ingleses me decían Juan queremos que des clases de salsa y yo muy mamón les decía:¡¡¡¡¡¡Yo vine a Inglaterra a tomar el té con la Reina Isabel II, no a bailar pinche salsa!!!!!!!
