I did this experiment with water and quartz crystals. I had 2 identical glass bottles. I wrote "I love you" on the bottle and put 5 small quartz crystals inside it and told it "I love you" and put it in the sunny window. The other bottle had the exact same water in it, but it was blank and I didn't talk to it. I left both bottles in the window for 24 hours. The first thing I noticed was that the plain water had little bubbles that formed on the side closest to the I love you water. The other bottle didn't have any bubbles. I drank the plain water first. It was warm because it had been in the sun all day. Then I drank the I love you water. I could instantly tell the difference because the I love you water was so much hotter than the plain water and it was thicker and had more energy in it. The light refracting through the 2 bottles was visibly different too. Amazing what the power of words can do. That's why we should all pick a date and have a worldwide I love you party where everyone says I love you at the same time.

The world is such a negative place, because of what negative people choose.

my suggestion for the experiment is..keep a control group going..with the original three...but then..have another simultaneous set going but mid way through...change the words..swap positive with negative...and compare with the control group...this would show wether you can reverse the negative and positive effects.

I think to get rid of your fridge altogether, you might have to show your love rather than just saying you love the rice.
Perhaps give the rice a backrub after a long day of fermenting, or surprise it with some flours.

the reason for this is because scientists have actually found out that water has Memory cells, similar to our own. Water remembers everything that's happened/is happening to it, think about your water pipes, water runs smoothly naturally around curves, and here we are forcing it through narrow pipes with hard right angles how do you think that makes the water feel? water is alive, if a simple thanks can make this water keep this rice healthy and white for over 3 1/2 months imagine the possibilities for the water inside of our bodies? the human body is made up of 90℅ water, so should we be treating water so badly?

Wonderful experiments! I have done many similar experiments with water, magnetic fields, meditation and words. Most dramatic results have been with the formation of water crystals. One experiment involved two identical containers containing identical water. One had the word "hate" written on it and I held it between my hands and thought as negative thoughts as possible for 1 minute and the other had "love" written on it. It was held between my hands in the same manner thinking loving thoughts for 1 minute. The love ice formed beautiful and clean ice while the hate water showed erratic, cracked and discombobulated ice. The experiment was repeated with the ice melted into water again and the containers were never opened but the words and thoughts were switched. The results showed the same. Beautiful ice on the love bottle and chaotic ice on the hate bottle.
I found the ignored rice interesting. The opposite of love is not hate, but indifference
wabashamj well i disagree. I would say indifference is actually equal to nothing. The ignored rice completely turned to rot. The hated rice didn't completely. So hate remains to opposite of love.
This is such a lesson in life, especially the power of the spoken word. It also reminds me never to tell myself how crap my life is no matter what im going through because if crap is what you say crap is what I will get. If beauty and love is what you always see with thankfulness then that is what you will get in return. Thanks for the vid needed to see this as a reminder of what i knew but got lazy and let negativity in. It's funny you realise in life you need to make changes so you implement discipline's to help get the results you want and when your life gets on track you let go of those discipline's and end up back a square 1 and start again. When will we learn.

The rice experiment left me in awe. How sad to realize that the contents of the rancid containers were the results of hatred vs love. We need to love more and say it more often to ourselves. The loving words nurture the soul. I want to make sure others get a chance to watch that experiment. It was impressionable.

This experiment is skewed from it's very inception because it assumes things like mold and mildew to be a negative thing. In short it is projecting a human by us onto nature and assuming that what we consider bad must be universally bad.

One good reason to bless your FOOD! And for any non-beliver's, to at least say thank you to the food or for the food!!! I was taught to pray before you shop, as you shop, and have good positive thoughts while handling the food and even in preparing the food! That the food was sacred and especially while cooking the FOOD be at peace to keep others from having intergestion, from a negative attitude! Also if you can't shift from a bad attitude, don't cook! Never cook in anger or resentment towards the task! I was told that when you cook, cook with LOVE and enjoyment in your Heart and MIND! My mother and Grandma taught me this!! My grandmother chose her own death time as the old Indian's do she was 95 and said she wasn't old, just tired! My mother is 82 and still going strong, we have pass these behavior's to the next generation as well! My younger sister is a rush cook, she has grey hair already, she and other people I know who rush their food, cooking, and eating are already greying, I am 55 soon to be 56 and just got some grey hair, my sister is greyer than my 82 year old mother, the children just found out that I am the older sister, and they wonder why I still look young, people use to think my sister was my Dad's wife and I was their kid, this in not a joke! This has really happened in public, so you do have to watch your actions and decisions, words and behavior for a better return on your investment, yourself!!!

Reading ALL these comments on every youtube video I see, it shows me that about 90% or more of people out there haven't learned to communicate with language at all. Most of your comments have no meaning (and by this I mean whatever message you're trying to send is completely corrupted) since you all seem to make up you're own meanings to words. Now it's true that ALL words in the history of the universe were made up by someone at some point, the accepted meaning of each word and how to put them together is REQUIRED between the individuals communicating with each other OR actual speech & writing has no meaning whatsoever. I hate all forms of culture, including language, because all it does in the long run is divide us. We invade each others' souls by "sharing" our individual ideas with each other until we each delude ourselves and think naively that because this guy likes ice cream and I like ice cream that somehow we're on the same team, and somehow we aren't organisms competing for EVERYTHING in life. You'll probably call me a cynic or a pessimist? And in some sense that's true. I'm completely pessimistic about EVERYTHING homo sapiens have "created" - even though no one actually created a damned thing, they were just playing around and mixed some things together and observed that something different resulted from that mix. Or they sat on their ass and observed the world because the gerbil maze we call "civilization" poisoned our true selves from the start, but in observing we aren't taking part in the natural process of action and consequence, and instead we observe horror and try to figure out a way to control it with certain results. ...('Germans?!?' 'Quiet. He's rolling.')... There IS NO certainty. I used to hate the ideology of the NWO (I know all you online freaks know what that is), but recently I see that what I used to call their "horrible" & "inhumane" plan is completely dead on right, and the reason we all hate and judge them is cuz they NEVER stopped taking part in the process of REAL life and are WILLING to do what's necessary, even if they themselves define that as "EVIL". We're all just whining on you tube cuz we all bought into the lie we told ourselves, which is that serving our IDEA or Definition of life will work, instead of serving our true selves beneath that horrible corruption we call "ideology" or "thinking" or "the mind". ALL of that is abstract illusion, and the people you love to praise who manifested theirs into the world are actually killing you with it, like Hitler, and then when you find out the REAL consequence it's "oh my god!" & "what a monster!" and like the cowards you are you try to distance yourself from that REAL by creating a pyschological buffer between the REAL world & the REAL you by saying "oh i wasn't responsible". And that's why you're life sucks, cuz you aren't living life, you're only trying to adhere to your false DEFINITION of it (or even worse the Leviathon's definition of it). And you only wanna define it accurately so you can control it, so you can avoid death... cuz you're a coward like the 99% of the rest of us who are afraid of death because it's unknown, so you never actually live. You just sit and watch and observe and JUDGE and pray someone agrees so you can keep up the lie that you aren't alone with the seemingly useless will god gave you. ACTION is the only reality, there's just 8 billion ways of describing and perceiving it.... "There is no hook my friend. There's only what we do." At this point, the only way the biosphere on this earth doesn't suffer another massive devastation like there was 65 million years ago (and at least that was due to the NATURAL processes of the universe), is if Homo Sapiens is DECIMATED, and soon (like the NWO plans), though i suspect our "created technologies" won't stop destroying the web of life on this earth and will only continue to strangle it - cuz whose gonna be around to turn that nuclear reactor off before it melts down?

for the 2nd guy in the video, a couple of notes... 1: using mason jars (glass) you can better see the results and there is less likely hood of contaminants that may exist in plastic as it is a byproduct of a petroleum based material. 2nd: I would have vacuum sealed them in the mason jars, as air has a definite effect on oxidation and break down of materials, the vacuum seal would also eliminate any alleged possible tampering with the experiment... just a few thoughts....

This could just be coincidence, I would do the experiment with 4 containers of the positive, 4 containers of the negative and 4 containers neutral with nothing written. This will give you a better conclusion and help eliminate variables,
I did this experiment after watching "What the Bleep" in 2011 and got the same results. Rice Jar labeled "hate" got black mold first.
The mold is considered negative? So the rice that was treated positively went to waste by feeding almost nothing, while the rice that was treated negatively fed healthy looking fungi. I think the results are ambiguous, since the observer shouldn't allow personal biases to corrupt the interpretation of the results. In this case the observer unduly considers mold a negative thing. Without fungi we'd have long ago been buried in waste.
YES! I was thinking someone would post something like this. People too often rationalize and generalize in order to make sense of or self-identify with things. Understanding the world with only conspiracy theories/delusions of perception is an unfortunate way to live. The video is ridiculous, however a great message. A lot of people missed the point, thinking this is about how we should treat our food; comments about always "blessing" one's meal... The video is meant to demonstrate the impact of our thoughts and words on living our lives positively versus negatively. Something that anyone can see demonstrated in them or in the people around them on a daily basis; no silly bogus "experiment" necessary. Keep it simple, stay kind, be happy, live positively.
Umm you completely missed the point of this video. It isn't about creating mold or that mold is bad. It was showing that with love things don't go bad as quickly. It preserved it. It made it last longer. By being loving the food was better and in turn it helps us. It's a great metaphor for people and how to treat others.
It's up to the person to cast the spell. The girl in the video believes the mold is bad... if you did the experiment and you thought the mold could be good it would grow in your good jar.
Hey Justin! So I did this experiment almost 2 years ago (it'll be 2 years in January) and I've still got the rice sitting in my desk drawer haha. It's nuts how different each container of rice looks. I still don't see any mold on the "Thank you" rice. If there's any way to send you pics, I'd love to do that.

Its not the writed words but is your brain expectations who interact in......expectation on the bad or good way interacts with this things is quantum physics at work when your brain process the good desires for one recepient and bad expectation to to the other.
Expectation and observation afects how things work around you. When you write the words good in one and evil in the other recipient you already decide in your brain the way of the things gone be with expectations.

I did this years ago. after 2 weeks the love rice looked same as new, and the hate rice turned solid black. I just wrote the words on the jars, and forgot about them for the two weeks.
also, never eat when upset. by yourself or with any others.

My daughter and grandsons did this with the rice and an apple that was cut as well. The favoured apple stayed white, while the other one rotted.

there has to be a logical explanation I understand that positive words can push somebody to do amazing feats that day may not be able to do if being spoke down to but I can't comprehend the fact that think positive words to Rice keeps it from molding while ignored rice turns into the worst and negative rice turns into mush as well just not as much mush as being completely ignored
