  • In todays video I build an offset smoker from a 150 gallon propane tank.
    I owe a welding and fabrication business and have been wanting to build a smoker for a long time, I finally had the opportunity to and I am very happy with it! It has great patina and works great!
    A few changes I would make, I will do my firebox differently next time, and the grates as mentioned in the video
    If you have any questions, or would like a smoker made for yourself, please leave a comment down below!

    This is the smoker we all need. Perfect size. Cheap build looks awesome. Very functional.
    Love that computer control plasma cutter. Sick 👍

    Love this build. I have a tank that I have started but have not finished yet. This video has given me several ideas to help finish this. Thanks for the video. Subscribed.

    Great build! Really like the chrome KW stack, looks killer. FYI those firebrick will absolutely help with temp control.

    Smoker turned out nice, how did you figure out how to weld legs on with the proper height and angle so it wasn't rocking around unlevel.?
    Plus flipping it over by yourself when you welded them on.

      For the legs, I just got the tank upside down and level with a couple of blocks, then I cut the legs to the height I thought I wanted (just a guess, ended up being about right) then I measured from the ground to the leg and made them all the same, as far as flipping it over, well I just pulled my shorts up and gave her the ole heave ho lol

    Where is the Damper for your smoke stack to control the heat and the smoke ...???

    • @Workman1
      @Workman1  Рік тому

      I control the heat with the intake and fire management

      @waynekitchen7134 Рік тому +1

      But you can't control the smoke.... that's what the Damper on top of the SMOKE STACK IS USE FOR... You will be able to control the flavor of your meat with apple, hickory,oack cherry....it gives you total control 👍😎😎

    ua-cam.com/users/shortstoq_MVQwN0Y My smaller version! Nice build and you are right, it's tough trying to figure out where to put stuff but, wood-fire-meat it's all good.
