Even before this, there was once a moment where Phil Ivey was sitting by himself at a 300/600 HU table on FTP and Galfond sat with 100bb. On the very first hand, it goes raise, 3bet, call. Flop is 963 I beleive and they get it all in. Ivey turns over 99 and Galfond turns over a small set (obv). The board bricks and Galfond leaves. I cant find it anywhere anymore, but I remember reading about, watching a hand replay, and hearing Dwan mention on an episode of HSP once and I would love to hear Phil talk about dealing with that mentally.

I watched a video on this channel he talked about this hand. I think he said it was his first or one of first 300/600 games. Then he told he had later in another game vs Ivey, I think also 300/600, set over set and got immediately a message on his phone from Ivey "Top set is nice" something like that. And then got called by Ivey.

Thanks for the great content, Phil! I'd love it if you considered spending a significant amount of time in these videos discussing game dynamics/meta. Who did you think the best player in the game was, who did people fear, who were you targeting, who were other people in the game targeting, who was shot taking, who was on a big heater/downswing, who seemed to be tilting, who was a crusher at another variant but behind the curve in this format etc.
I think a lot of us are very interested in getting to know the players better, or at least your perceptions of them at the time and also now looking back. Yes, hand history reviews are very cool, but it's storytelling and characters that I think the poker community finds most captivating.

I haven't played online in over 10 years, what are the percentages next to the screennames? I assumed initially that they were equities, but most of these hands didn't see showdown. Does software automatically compute ranges for you now?

Don't really understand how Ivey has gotten this image as being such an aggressive player.
    I think it's undeserved.
That's not how he actually plays in my opinion.
Yes, he does battle for pots he is in and he does bluff occasionally.
I think of him more as being on the bit nitty side and being a player that makes very few big mistakes.
He might be the best at not paying off people's value bets.
