Once I saw the song choice, I knew it was gonna put me in my feels. This last episode was so sad for Ricky but a healthy dose of karma is necessary to remind him of what he lost but I have faith they’ll find their way back to each other! I think Ricky is finally experiencing what Gina had to do in the second season :( I really like EJ because he wanted Nini from the first series and had to give her up for Ricky and he doesn't deserve to experience it again with Gina, but the chemistry between Ricky and Gina works. .
I don't mind if Gina is with Ricky, but that he doesn't kick her again for Nini :/
ej didnt give nini up for ricky? nini broke up with ej because he stole her phone and lied to her. ej and nini had been broken up for months when ricky and nini got back together

I think Gina should stay with EJ, if he proves to really want a relationship with her, or rather stay single with her besties. If she ever finds a boyfriend, it should be someone form outside her friend’s circle.
@@roze6321 true, but he did all of that bcs he knew she has still into ricky. Besides Rick6 was also an asshole to her in season 2 when she started to focus on herself and her music. Ricky is now in the same position

I feel bad for both Ej & Ricky. On one side Ricky is as asshole because he only takes interests in Gina when he has no one else. He had his opportunity and eventhough I can understand that in that moment he wasn’t interested in a relationship with her, he can’t expect one now. I don’t like that he is spending way to much time with her, but al least she has company since EJ is basically ignoring her.
That's not true. Ricky had ALWAYS feelings for Gina. The moment he met Gina he wasn't in interested in Nini anymore. Nini was single when Rina had their moments. He only paid attention to her again when Gina was about leave and pushed him away. Also Ricky said that when he is with girls he only talks about Nini but when he met Gina he didn't once spoke about her. Plus Gina "confessed" her feelings AFTER he got back together with Nini. We also know that Ricky is not the type of person who like changes. He always clings to things he is used to (or better said he used to be like that). Now don't get wrong. He loved Nini but his relationship with her is something he was used to. She was a safe choice. With Gina it would be something different. He needs to be ready for changes.
"Say yes to something that scares you" is on his list, remember? He also realized that he let Gina slip through his fingers and is ready to make it up it. He knows he made mistake and he wants her to be happy. That's why he helped her with EJ and is there for her. He loves her selflessly.
@@andradaamv6419 well that is your way of seeing it. The way I see it, he broke up with Nini bcs he didn't have the guts to tell her he loved her, which he clearly did, and didn't want to take that step towards a serious relationship. For whatever personal issues he had. Then Gina steped in, just to create more drama (she was new, she couldn't possibly be in love with him all the sudden) and when she saw how Ricky was still into Nini, she decided to just let go. That wan , until that weird scene where she confessed crying to him... very awkward... Rini is back together and Ricky, knowing how Gina feels, asks her for relationship advice (it was only once or twice though, I don't get why she makes such a big deal out of it). Ej suddenly takes interest in her, also weird since he couldn't stand her, but could happen. Portwell is oficial, Rini borke up and oh what do you know, Ricky is now in love with Gina! Agin, it could happen (feelings change, people change) but the timing is wrong. At least he doesn't get in their relationship, or not totally in porpuse. They are all just a bunch of teens who's only big problem is finishing school. I get that is a teen high school drama show and all of this is the point of the series. I do understand that Ej feels anxious about proving himself to his dad, but he already addressed that in the previous season, no need to ignore your friends and girlfriend, which YOU convinced to come to camp.
@@andradaamv6419 I do get that ricky's relationship with Nini was just rutine and I could have seen him with Gina since they got along well at the start of the school year. However, now she is happy with someone and I love that he respects that, but there are some moments in which he is going too far (i'm not saying EJ is the perfect partner either, he's actually far from that).
@@blond009 Gina started to have feelings for him after episode 5. She wasn't in love with him right away. She had feelings which develop over the time in which she spent time with him. Same goes for Ricky. She pushed Ricky away because she had to move again and not because of Nini. "You heard what happend. I don't think there is any point of calling me anymore, do you?" or "I wouldn't quit on us if I was moving away" are proof of that. It had nothing to do with Nini.
Ej & Gina are rushed, so I don't talk about that. And the "she is happy with someone else" in question because....Ej keeps disappointing her, like you said. And I'm not saying Ricky is perfect but he knows that he made mistakes.

What is Ricky exactly doing? Didn't he help Gina planning this whole promposal? He isn't doing anything. Ej is destroying his relationship with Gina on his own because he can't talk to his girlfriend. Ricky had feelings for Gina since Season 1 and their feelings for each other are unresolved. With Nini Ricky was selfish but with Gina it's different. He loves her enough to prioritize her happines. He knows he made mistakes and that's growth.
Well, that’s my point of view on a FICTIONAL CHARACTER, no need to be discussing on that. When we get to see series or movies there’s no ultimate truth, they’re there to be interpreted by the viewers. So I said what I said and stand by it. Read again and answer your question

I just came across and thought of sharing my opinion on a public video (which is for ALL viewers) about how people to this day romanticize questionable behaviors. To answer your question of how I see it that way, I think he's a teen who don't really know how it is to be alone because is always basing his life on relationships and so not knowing who he really is. Looking now at the storyline, he broke up with Nini because he wasn't sure of his love for her, and as soon as he saw that she was moving on decided that he was sure and made Nini's life complicated by chasing her even though she was with someone else. So when he got her back got feelings for Gina while he had Nini wrapped around his finger, so Gina moved on and he now is sure about his feelings and is making her life complicated (again). All I'm saying as a humble psychologist student is that I noticed a weird pattern of his feeling and emotions. So I hope that I answered your question now and I don't mean to disrespect you or your good job on the video.

@@lmlmtmtm3641 he literally had feelings for gina in season 1, it’s shown that he felt something in the end of episode 5 to episode 7 about gina, episode 8 he literally texted her checking up on her. they literally had gina not be in an episode for him to acknowledge nini again. the only reason he went back to nini is because he thought gina was gone forever.
