Great Video bruv . The challenge nowadays is that Tennis cricket has evolved a lot and nowadays bowlers just follow the basic rule “ Bowl on the Off side . Full length or good length doesn’t matter” Due to this most of the batsmen who are off side strong and up scoring most runs and batsman who is traditionally a leg side player ends up mishitting for a catch . Please do make a video on how to play off side with Heavy tennis as that’s the need of the hour.I personally am guilty of that so nowadays I have started playing with a stance which is more on the off side. As in while standing my body is more on the off side with just enough space to cover the leg stump. Advantage is I can still play leg shots and plus for bowler it’s difficult to bowl now on off as he will always try to bowl more towards off which ends up being a wide. Also please age some light in the batting grip for heavy tennis . Which is best overall .
@leftfieldcricket Please make a video on Batting in Box Cricket with Tennis ball .It is required to play mostly in V. and its only playing spin bowling.
Here's a quick summary of points shared in this video. - Take your time: Warm up with first 5 balls, and try to score in V in the beginning. - Master Shots: Focus on improving pull, SLOG sweep, reverse sweep, ramp, and Step out boldly to hit straight sixes.. - Field Awareness: Target areas with fewer fielders for easy runs. - Play Backfoot: Adapt to consistent bounce and avoid playing straight. - No LBW: Take guard on middle stump to avoid being bowled. - Weight Transfer: Shift weight forward for better power hitting. --- Learn Slog Sweep ua-cam.com/video/4u8MruQ2QLc/v-deo.htmlsi=JxwRckRPxF8ULNbI Learn Pull Shot ua-cam.com/video/OCbwVLbhBRE/v-deo.htmlsi=dXBJDjrB-1ew3T_R Learn Reverse Sweep ua-cam.com/video/bN2pTBTF2Yo/v-deo.htmlsi=H4br6SjMER2eiUaI Learn Ramp ua-cam.com/video/8rUuNJ_HKT4/v-deo.htmlsi=erMOlqrV87iSbv6h --- Explanation: - Guard Positioning: Starting at middle stump maximizes protection against being bowled, crucial due to the absence of lbw rules. This strategic adjustment can significantly enhance scoring opportunities. - Shot Technique: A high backlift and full swing are essential when batting with a heavy tennis ball, as it doesn’t respond well to gentle strokes, allowing for more powerful shots. - Weight Distribution: Transferring weight forward while batting is vital for generating power, as it ensures that your shots travel further and are more effective against bowlers. - Adapting to Bounce: Understanding that the heavy tennis ball bounces consistently alters shot selection, promoting back-foot play to effectively handle rising deliveries. - Strategic Shot Selection: Mastering unconventional shots like the reverse sweep and ramp diversifies scoring options, especially against field settings with gaps. - Field Dynamics: By observing field placements, players can exploit gaps and maximize scoring potential, as hitting to areas with fewer fielders is statistically safer. - Confidence in Execution: Committing fully to shots, especially when stepping out to hit straight, enhances success rates and contributes to a more aggressive batting approach.
Lots of personal preference but for heavy tennis ball, I’d recommend a bat on the lighter side with a wide/thick grip so that the bat doesn’t turn in your hand👌
Thanks for the reply. Are bats like black mamba or scoop bats like bandook are good for hard tennis. These are 35 inch bats . So is there diffference in power between 35 and 33 inch bats
*Yar ye sab basic cheezayn hain, we all already know about it. The challenge is, the bowlers have figured it out and they have practiced it very well to deliver the ball full and close to the off-side wide line. ab kahaan maarogey ussey?*
Thoda basics cover karna hai, uske baad advanced videos banaaunga. I want to make videos for every level of player especially those who don’t have access to coaching. But that is a good video idea. Mai research karta hoon🙏
@@LeftFieldCricket Thik hai, Thanks. Warna aaj koi bowler aap ko short ball deyta he nahi hai jahaan pe aap midwicket pe aik lapaardu shot maar sako ... lots of footwork is required to go back in the crease towards off stump AFTER the ball has been released, so that you get a short pitched ball. Reverse sweep kabhi kabhi kaam kar jaati hai but these days u gotta play mind games with the bowler to disrupt his line and length.

Yes I have a video planned for indoor cricket👌
Any tips on gloves vs no gloves? Also, which one of yes.
I say wear gloves as it helps with grip so you can hit harder and the bat doesn’t turn in your hands🖖

We need a baseball ground version of this video, where the bounce is uneven and sometimes ball swings after first step
I was planning on making a gully cricket video about batting on uneven pitches so I’ll work on it🙏
@@LeftFieldCricket awesome... looking forward to watching it
Nice Video!
Thanks💪
Nice video👍
Glad you like it🙏
Great video
I’m glad you like it🙏
Dude I miss time slow bowlers as well as spinners while batting for fast bowlers I play well please guide me ❤
Try watching the ball and playing as late as possible this will make it so when you get a slower ball you still keep your shape.
I tried but was unsuccessful still to keep ur words I will try again ❤
Any recommendations on bat ?
