@@Sanderus no way you are saying this. If there is a beautiful combination happening on the board it is an element of chess etiquette to let it all Play out.
@@ragefirewind1488 yeah but it depends. Normally no resigning only happen in OTB when they can basically have an agreement even without talking. Sometimes they play it until stalemate or draw on king vs pawn endgame (Carlsen is notorious for playing until stalemate) and sometimes they let them finish a beautiful combinations.
When levi (Gotham chess) went over this game, I thought to myself “I could see the player who saw the forced mate in 11 just laughing maniacally from the absolute insanity that this play is” turns out Duda actually couldn’t hold in his emotions lol. That smile is amazing
The mate that Rustam was going to show but the video got cut off, btw, was if at 0:23 black had played Kg8, then white goes Bh7+, Kh8 is forced since Kxh7 leads to Qh5+ Kg8 Qg6+ Kh8 Qg7#, so Kg8 Bh7+ Kh8 Ng6+ now Kxh7 is forced Qh5+ Kg8 Ne7#, not nearly as nice as the one we got in the game, but still a beauty nonetheless
@@PivotStickmanAnimations This is not strictly a math problem it's a computer science problem. Chess has not been solved, it's impossible to compute all the possible moves in any practical time, it would take too long (although mathematically speaking the algorithm to do so is simple)
Insane calculation. I blunder a rook and queen and resign, Duda sacrifices the farm and finds mate.
except he finds it before then sacrifice.
“Sacrifices the farm” that got me good lol
So disappointing that giri didn't let Duda finish the combination and resigned. This is basically a crime.
It would be disrespectful if he did. That would show Giri did not believe Duda knew how to end this combination.

Ok ape
@@gruchaczpl5328 no it's not,no GMs are playing till checkmate

Glad to see Duda regaining his form after his CGC experience. Go Dude-a!
Even there he did beat Hikaru twice in a row
yes Anish is clearly Dude B in this game
Duda acting like a 3 year-old about to get the biggest chocolate
He can't stop smiling lol
Do not talk about things u never get... choclate and win with Giri
Who would not be so proud after finding such a smothered mate
The way Rustam called out the mate and calculated it out in 20s was amazing. He's been a real asset to this commentary stream.
You do know they use engines during commentary right?
@@megagigachad69 No, it's clear when they're using engines - Tadeas (sp?) gives them the moves.
The only thing they have access to is the bar.

Honestly Duda calculating that forced checkmate in 11 moves against Giri is insane and an absolute form of brilliancy.
Btw you can see that Duda was disappointed when Anish resigned.
True… not a nice gesture,
I need a gif/emoji of duda rubbing his hands together triumphantly at :36, lol so iconic
Duda is one of the more fun players to watch because he leaves the emotions out there on screen -- good and bad. He should be beaming!
What a genius
No such thing as genius.

I can calculate 11 different kind of blunders 😂😂😂
The true might and real ability to destroy everybody even the top GM only Duda can accomplish

Beautiful!
Duda's brain is like a super computer. Bravo!
I wonder, is there any stats on longest forced mates in history?
longest forced mate possible is mate in 89 moves which was proven by engines long ago
@@PivotStickmanAnimations Longest forced mate *found* not longest forced mate possible, current engines are unable to prove that
