Caught myself a terrible cold on this last round of travels for work. Had me thinking about how much I miss my mom. I don't care how old we get, there is always those times that take you back to just wanting to be comforted by your mom.
This video comforted me through the longing and memories of being sick and having my mom there to care for me. You just have that way about you. Maternal care just oozes through your videos.
I can't tell you how much this was needed and appreciated this weekend. Having to take care of myself all these years, was nice to feel like I had someone there to care for me through a truly miserable cold.

Dont feel guilty, I do the same with my 5 year old daughter, we both go to sleep to ASMR so a lot of the nights they save the work for me lmao 😄
Please don't feel bad, my 15 year old daughter goes to bed with asmr because she couldn't sleep due to anxiety and disautonomia, it has saved her. When you find a tool that supports your child, you are helping them. Like healthy food, comfortable shoes, or a great big hug, you are giving her a tool to make her life better, which makes you a good mom.
My son also loves ASMR! I think it’s wonderful- we’re giving them tools to relax! ❤️

What a gift you have been given, and thank you taking the time and immense effort to share it with the world. It must not be easy to balance being a mum, wife, and everything else with the time it takes to create these videos, but it really makes such a difference and brings such healing to a world that so desperately needs it.

I have never commented on a video before, but I just felt like telling you how much I enjoy watching yours. I suffer from anxiety, amongst other things, and whenever I used to feel like I was spiralling and my head was filled with negative thoughts, I would either have to take medication to calm back down or do something self destructive. But now, whenever I feel like that, I sit myself down, put on one of your videos and it really helps me stay calm and allows me to see through all the negativity in my head. So thank you - discovering your videos has made quite a difference to the way I cope with my illnesses whenever I feel them start to take control. 🙏

My whole body is just aching and have very little energy and been dealing with a headache all week long. We've been getting rain about every other day so it's really affecting my fibromyalgia. WhispersRed ASMR Tell me about it. I've had a headache every single day this week. Earlier in the week I had a migraine that lasted for two and a half days. I'm finally seeing a neurologist in a few weeks on the 18th for these headaches. I've already had numerous injections over the past couple of years, physical therapy hasn't really helped, I can't think of anything else that'll help my headaches unless I move somewhere that has stable weather conditions. The warmest day this week will be on Wednesday but they're calling for more rain showers. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm even going to have the chance to get out in my garden before the ground freezes. I just thank god I have your videos. I'd be totally lost without them! Today was a difficult day for me; I've been running a fever and felt lightheaded and nauseous taking my exam this afternoon. It's given me anxiety all day. I often get anxious when I'm sick because I worry something could go really wrong; I guess it's my inner hypochondriac that I'm still learning to calm. The anxiety was becoming overpowering tonight and I suddenly thought, "I know what can help! One of Emma's videos!" And so I crawled into my bed with my laptop, lit a guardian angel candle and some incense, and came on over to your page. I was so happy to see that you just posted a new video! Literally a few seconds in, I felt like breaking down crying with relief. You have such a motherly, peaceful, kind presence that can make a hard night better. It means so much to me! Thank you so much for sharing your healing energy and creativity with us. I am so full of gratitude for you and your wonderful videos.

I love your videos, they make me feel safe and calm. My Mom died last Sunday, and other than my wife and little daughter she was the woman I loved most. You are so comforting. Your voice is beautiful.........especially when you sing, it’s so pure and so reminiscent of my mom. I feel like I am 5 years old again and mom is taking care of me. Thanks for this.
The humming and singing is wonderful. A really insightful move. Compared to many other ASMR producers, you have a particularly warm, supportive, maternal persona. You tapped into that perfectly here and I'm sure many of us found this video wonderfully nostalgic and evocative.

Watching this after a day of seeing the Minneapolis protests for George Floyd. Been feeling like I’m gonna throw up and can’t breathe for hours, had a lot of panic attacks that are keeping me from sleeping. It took halfway thru the video but you finally got through to me and helped me calm down. Thank you so much Emma. When it’s the middle of the night and you’re alone with a panic attack it can be really scary. Thanks for being there
I have been watching your videos for a few days now, I am 36 about to be 37 weeks, I am highly uncomfortable this pregnancy and can’t sleep on my own also dealing with swelling of hands and feet, high blood pressure and nerve pain. Since watching your videos through out the day and at bed time I feel at my best!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!!!

I can't help but think of a motherly figure towards her in most of her videos. I don't know why but it's so relaxing. There is nothing like a mother humming you to sleep. And this is probably the closest I'm gonna get to that in a long time. In other words it's very relaxing and for some odd reason the humming reminds me of a motherly figure.
