I agree that the Apache is the standard by which other attack choppers (not all), are compared to or measured against but there's something about the Ka-52 that makes it stand out. It's not just the contra-rotating rotors but it's overall performance, appearance, its shape & armament, it's speed & agility, the fact that there's nothing quite like it anywhere else. But that's just me...

Look the pilots of the Tiger will know through his sensors at 18 km range, that something is there, through the Eye of the Tiger (best Zeiss-Lenses in the world) they can identify obcects in visual range in 7 - 10 km. Means the sensors of the other helicopters would jump in at 8 km, but they must get close (quarter mile) to identify them, so there the tiger already knows what it is and strike first with its Spike (8km range)...THAT IS A FUCKING DISANTVANTAGE....
