I know I'm real late to this common section. But there is english version to this song, and if you all want to understand the reason why they're so many key changes, you need to do a reaction to it.
One of the things I find interesting about the song is the contrast between the lyrics and the actual music. The anime Oshi No Ko has a lot of dark themes that the song, being made for the anime, reflects in the lyrics. So for english listeners like me you wouldn't notice it because the song is very bright and bubbly, but the lyrics are actually quite bleak and dejecting. Another thing to note is that without the context of the anime you might not understand just how depressing the lyrics actually are.
