I hate how underrated this band is. Their songs are masterpieces. I feel bad for the people who never heard their music. They are missing out on so much.
I feel in this version that you hear more of the strings and there's more higher notes and you hear the individual instruments clearer? I don't know if that's right, I don't really know what I'm talking about.
Y Red, Disturbed, Skillet, Ashes Remains, TFK, Crown The empire, AdTR, Nine Lashes, Halestorm, Hands Like houses, Through Fire, TBM. Y por supuesto THREE DAYS GRACE.
Elementally of course, but they were literally playing most of Transmissions live beforehand as Downplay and even released Dark on Me as a single before converting. Other members of Downplay besides the bassist turned down the offer to join Starset. They didn’t see the potential at the time, thought the space theme was silly and wouldn't work lol
Scott Villanueva Every show I’ve been to of theirs I am completely memorized by the drumming. Adam does an amazing job every time. I like the cool box he’s in now but at the same time I get disappointed since I can’t watch him the entire show lol. He does a lot of really cool stick tricks and his energy is just contagious. I’m glad other people recognize how awesome he is. 😁
Scott Villanueva Same for me! Not only are his drums tuned to perfection, his fills are always perfect. He also knows when and how to keep it simple, and what fills are best where.
Starset is good but they got ALOT to learn before they become anywhere near as good as the Legendary Breaking Benjamin. If anything Starset is still taking baby steps but let's see if they'll last and if they become legendary one day just like BB.
The original song is a masterpiece, and this version is equal or inclusive better. Conclusion, the whole band is a masterpiece, and I can say that is the only band that I like EVERYONE of them songs, from Transmissions to Vessels. I'll wait to September 28 with hype.
Mix Master I didn’t think anyone I knew knew about Starset. One night while out to dinner my sister mentioned to me that I should check out Starset. I almost choked on my food while saying “Oh My God, I Love Starset!”
@@Branflakes1522 If that happens to me I’m gonna cry. Unfortunately, Starset is extremely underrated in my country. Most people listen to mainstream pop songs and rap. Few listen to heavy music
How haven't I known yet that the whole VESSELS album gets a "Version 2" ?? :o HYPE. 🙈❤️ However, I would love to have a NEW album sometime next year 🙊 It will probably take until 2020 (or really late 2019) though 😅 But for something as good as Starset's albums it just needs its time I guess... #Starset ❤️
I'll shank you so fuck off I know, I have seen that ^^ But that's "just" (I am still really happy about it!) a new version of their last album though! 😅 And I said that I am looking forward to their next really completely NEW album 🙈 Thank you for telling me that this friendly though :) [That's rare on UA-cam 😂]
I didn’t think I’d say this since it’s hard to beat originals, but I think I actually like this version of “Bringing It Down” better than 1.0. I was worried for some reason that adding more strings was going to mean watering down the overall heaviness of the song, but it adds a new dramatic flair to an already great song, making it even better without changing it TOO much. It feels like a 2.0 rather than a flat-out “remix.” This track feels like it came from a parallel universe where the creative direction for BiD 1.0 took a slightly different turn. I love so many of the new little nuances in this, one being those four keyboard-y notes at the beginning right after “I saw it in your eyes.” Well done, Starset. :)
I can’t believe Starset isn’t more well known. They are such a good band! And pure rock too! Nothing dirty either in their songs- pure love. Starset is my favorite band, and they don’t know how to make a bad song.
It'll be a deluxe version of Vessels, including Bringing It Down 2.0, several acoustic versions (a.o. Ricochet, Telepathic and Die For You) and two remixes.
There really is no band that takes this amount of instrumentation, atmosphere, power and originality in all of their songs, and this 2.0 version is even a step up from the original, more moody, added layers of vocals, orchestral accents, and piano work. Along with improved vocals for the original song. They’re going places, haven’t been so intrigued by a band in a long time. Have followed them since I heard halo from there first album in like early 2014
I fucking love how positive the comment section is in a Starset music video. Whenever I'm feeling down, I always go here for positivity. Thank you, Starset, the masters of lyrical poetry, for bringing so many people together.
The differences are sort of subtle but very noticeable if you're like me and listened to the album every day for 4 months straight after it dropped lol!
I love this version even more than the other, it's like a trained and perfected version. It's like you harnessed its true potential. I'm loving it guys, can't wait for that next album!
I hate how underrated this band is. Their songs are masterpieces. I feel bad for the people who never heard their music. They are missing out on so much.
Mari Years Honestly though. they're so underrated it's so sad.
Mari Years True!
They're not underrated but on a way on becoming really popular
Mari Years I agree so badly, it‘s incredible how underrated and unknown they as a band and this whole cinematic rock thing is..I love it so much
That's why we the messengers need to spread the messege!
The violins, the guitar, the diction, the higher harmonies during the second verse- there's so many cool little changes.
Thanks for highlighting some differences -- I'm going crazy trying to find them lol
I feel in this version that you hear more of the strings and there's more higher notes and you hear the individual instruments clearer? I don't know if that's right, I don't really know what I'm talking about.
They actually preform with the standard stuff (drummer, guitarists etc.) But also have a violinist and a cellist, it's a really cool experience
And the violinist is pretty damn good lookin
If you guys wanna see it, dustin posted some parts of the new instrumental part on his instragram starsetsingerguy and it's amazing
The screaming part is the best!
Marceline OMJOSH. IKR!
I kinda wish he would scream more i love his screams lol
reminds me of linkin park lol
Can't wait for the next album

One day Starset will be very famous and I will say that I have been listening them since they were Downplay
H A Same haha. I even have Downplay’s guitarist as the producer for my band for that very reason
Downplay and Starset are two different bands
Elementally of course, but they were literally playing most of Transmissions live beforehand as Downplay and even released Dark on Me as a single before converting. Other members of Downplay besides the bassist turned down the offer to join Starset. They didn’t see the potential at the time, thought the space theme was silly and wouldn't work lol
been around since shortly after vessels came out, but went back and listened to downplay stuff and love it (other than the first downplay album lul)
Dark of You? Don't you mean Dark on Me?
we can't make bringing it down better
Starset: hold my beer
I'm wondering if they're going to do this with all there songs.
it's probably a single case if you ask me
New album in The description: Vessels 2.0.
So The rest of the songs are going to have new version (sorry for my inglish, i speak spanish)
Kasai Sutomufaiya Sure, will be the whole album, i think, check out their Facebook
maybe it's an album of remixes this is why 2.0
Rob Graves is a master. He makes me love Red and Starset so much
SuperHamrick94 Indeed, I’ve got to talk with him and the band multiple times and they are all chill
Bringing it down was already a masterpiece. This is just Picasso levels of art
The whole band’s sound is fantastic, but the standout performer to me has always been the drummer. Love his fills and creative beats.

Serious question, what're the difference between the original version and 2.0?
Victor Olmos you deaf? There are alot of differences
Victor Olmos 2.0 has more orchestral elements in it
@@fireship3007 ty thats more helpful than 'you deaf?'
i feel like the same can be said for bands like skillet and shinedown and ashes remain
The fact that I am one of the few who knows this one heck of a band is a blessing.

This is actually the only 2.0 song on the new album. The rest are acoustic covers and a new song.
my God what an incredible sound
This song is their absolute masterpiece. It's in another league entirely.

Brianna Huber yo that was a great and well thought-out comment. I love it💙💜
Starset, 3 days grace, 5 figer death punch, godsmack, and all good thing are all good
Is there any bands that are a similar style to Starset? Let me know :O
L321 as far as i know Breaking Benjamin and Red
Skillet's new songs
Nothing More
All Good Things
Icon for Hire
Smash Into Pieces
yeah breaking benjamin and red work pretty good for most starset fans, I can also recommend Thousand Foot Krutch, Ashes Remain and Nine Lashes
L321 if you're talking about their theme (the stars, universe, stuff like that), I don't think there is any.
*thanks starset, very cool*
Starset has the perfect songs for movies

One of my favorite songs by starset i hate how underated this band is, i just love this version of this song♥️
So helpful for the new fans, having the lyrics on the song page!

WHOA THE SYMPHONIC 😭🔥
You made the instrumentals even better than before?? That is possible??
Good job again

But good to know :D
Are you German?
I love the symphonic style
This should be the intro for Destiny 2: Beyond Light
its so more subtle in the buildup. love it
I’d love an instrumental version of this
The strings really bring out the RED-like elements of this song.
Happy 5 year anniversary to the incredible VESSELS album! 🎉❤️
