Really exicted for this playthrough. See a lot of people sad for RLCraft, but to be honest. I actually like modpacks like ATM more, so I glad that I get to see more of that now!
I’ve been fumbling my way through this pack for a while now. Can’t wait to see the Chosen way to do these thing. Could have really used your guidance a few times.
@@J0seph_Mother no I am a driller and blaster in a mine in the extreme north in Canada/quebec and the extreme cold make our drill struggle to start and they keep freezing and snow removal is too expensive for what we could gain from the blasts so we stop during winter and when it get hotter about -10c we restart the drilling season
@@J0seph_Mother no I’m a driller & blaster in the extreme north of Quebec/canada. the extreme cold is rough on the equipment and we lose hours to heat them up before starting them and the snow removal is expensive and the snow makes our moves ( when on the drill ) hard because you cannot see the depth of holes and rough terrain ( we are doing topography blasts ( top of mountain on uneven terrain )) and it’s dark very very soon and poor visibility is dangerous as spotlight may not be always available. (Sorry for bad English I speak French )
For those who havent found enough leather for a backpack (or iron/gold to upgrade them) the pneumaticraft chests in villages are basically like shulker boxes you can store stuff in and pick up (they also have more slots than a regular chest). If the house they spawn in also has a pneumaticraft wrench they are instant break too and very quick to move around. I found those great for carrying loot around early game while I looked for the location to build my base.
I would heart this comment if i could. The Immersive Engineering crates from villages are similar but smaller and intentionally prevented from being quick to break. I have never seen or heard of a Mekanism personal barrel or chest in a village but those are much like the pneumaticraft chests and not difficult to craft fairly early on. The cardboard box turns nearly everything into a shulker box:) My favorite is the RFTools modular storage but it is not updated the last I checked. The first tier is 100 slots and has insta break with a wrench.

That Hunter's Belt relic you passed up in the village is extremely OP, if you want to go the Doggo Offensive Alliance route. The belt has two abilities that you can level side-by-side, the first is the one that gives you extra charm slots and the second ability buffs your pet stats. If I recall, one level in this ability gives a 50% increase in damage dealt (I'm assuming there are diminishing returns after that). Technically speaking, you still end up taking fall damage with the springy boots. I have them and it seems they aren't quite operating the way the old slimeboots do where you just keep bouncing until you stop, so every once in a while you take some damage because you didn't bounce. It doesn't say it has this, but I've been leveling these for a bit and I'm noticing I'm sometimes double-jumping in mid-air as well. Infinity Ham is the most common artifact/relic to find, so much so I think the devs even tried to nerf how common it spawned. I found like 5 in one village before. The rollerskates and aquawalker boot combo is very, very nice. You get the speed and stepassist from the skates and the aquawalkers allow you to walk on water. It doesn't take long at all to level them up, especially with a constant supply of xp, allowing you to go really really fast and stand on water for a long time.
You have to enable the springy boots ability after having it unlocked, in the alt key ui. I found the springy boots at the beginning of my playthrough, and they have been helping me so much
@lawsen3719 come from the phrase "Everything but the kitchen sink" which pretty much means it's a large variety of different mods. So technically any pack that includes tech, magic, storage, qol and logistics mods are kitchen sink. Even if there is guiding in the modpack like this it's still considered kitchensink because of the variety of mods. Non kitchen sink packs tend to be very linear progression that focuses on few mods, like create above and beyond

I never found so many artifacts/relics so quickly. 3 forever hams in one village? Right on time for Christmas too. That’s a lot of sandwich.

13:30 if your wondering why you can’t press B to open your backpack, go to controls and search up waypoint because there is a key one set for creating a new waypoint. Hope this helps!
I have been waiting for this, I have been playing 10 since it came out, after playing 9 and 9tts through. Love your ATM series's though, helped me out on so much from 7 on wards, thank you Chosen!
The 1st modpack i had played was ATM 6 which i thought was really good at teaching many of the popular tech, magic and utility mods. Always a pleasure seeing the next pack in the series and playing it alongside with your videos!
I worked on MVS with some other people, the structure mod where your floating island house came from. It's made me so happy that you liked it and made that your starting house, since it was one of the many structures I have built for that mod.

@@comments-l7u if you have 8gb total ram you're cutting it a bit close, but it should be doable if you have nothing else open and allocate 6gb to the game. if you have more than that an allocate 8gb to the pack it's completely fine completely fine
@@HollowsDarkness do you have an example? there are plenty of recipes edited for all sorts of different reasons, most because they are too easily obtainable for how powerful they are
Letsgo, i just finished atm9 and was planning on jumping into atm10 as well. Also the scrying eye you left behind, it is amazing, you can use it to make "touch/projectile + interact" spell. You can use that to get infinite overworld reach to interact with your storage system (sadly not dimensional, but a great start).

You are so lucky with that Ars tower getting the full set of gear, i found about 10 of them and not 1 of them had the room inside. I do like watching what you get upto. Your always so helpful and informative.
I knew he would be playing atm 10 so i started playing it before on my own to see how far i can get with my own knowledge and then i use his videos to guide me the rest of the way with his tips and tricks!
I'm playing ATM9 Skyblock because my laptop can handle that but not the main pack for ATM9. So watching 10 is going to be super interesting! Here's to a "chill" playthrough after RLCraft's insanity.
You may want the conjure island tablet, each conjure __ item summons in an area with biome specific ars crops and items on it, and can also make for a great mob safe base If you summon them near-ish the house you can make a super neat hanging bridge floating island nation base, with themed builds
I haven't tried the Ars storage system yet. Since it's my first time playing some modpacks. I would love to see a gameplay of it, aside from integrated dynamics. Which is something i love aswell. Looking forward to this series.

I cant wait for you to start into AE2 stuff and agriculture farms, Ive seen some videos about a growth acceleration block from AE2 that helps the crops grow faster :o
If you're ever running low on gold, there is a very op recipe (probably an oversight in the configs) where you can silk touch nether gold nugget ore and put it into a mechanical squeezer from integrated dynamics. the powered squeezer is also just a great early ore processing for all ores but especially since gold is abundant in the nether.
Might be odd but I never explored in MC, I went searching for biomes and resources but not just exploring..... until Waystones... when waystones is present I can happily explore for hours. ATM10 looks awesome.
Use some of those copper blocks you found to make an Ore Hammer. Use that hammer to double your ores. If you have Commands (aka: Cheats) turned on you can use Journey Maps to teleport to floating structures. Just be very careful in your curser placement. I used this trick to teleport to floating sky cities in one pack I played.
btw, the endless quiver enchant also work on the Ars arrow, enchant the enchanters bow with that enchant and place the arrows in a quiver and your ars bow will do extra damage, super useful

There’s a really sketchy effect that happens if you use the roller skates and the flamingo floaty belt. You basically shoot through the air faster than your computer can load chunks, until you collide with a wall. It’s great for traversing large areas that have a mountain on the opposite side of it, but also scary cause you basically can’t stop it until your game crashes, or you hit a wall.
Great to see a more normal pack again. Wasn't a huge fan of RLCraft. Just a quick tip- the Onion Ring & Everlasting Beef combo is fantastic early-mid game. Everlasting beef works in a backpack with autofeed, so the onion ring gives permanent haste. I didn't need efficiency on any of my tools until much later in the pack.
As someone who isn't very familiar with the mod I hope you can go with the slower pace than your former atm9 playlists. Also please open the quest book / advancement more often to let us see how's the progress going.
Did you ignore the bookshelf and containment jar in that tower? The bookshelf usually has more codex entries in it that you can pull out with an empty hand.

lmao i found a broom, too! it was enchanted (to my dismay after trying it out) to destroy blocks on collision. i blew a tunnel straight through the mage tower i had just finished building. 😀
I know I'm a little late to this comment, however I played through ATM10 most of the way. We got about halfway through the atm star and realized there is no end game content or things to do. We switched our server to atm9 and have been having a lot of fun with that pack now, and intend on completing it
I love those relics so much! I think I was able to use the roller skates and other ones to become the flash and move more than 60000 blocks in about 3 seconds
Atm10 heard about your rldregora misery and went lite mode to ease your transition 😂 I've since learned that with any pack, you gotta go with what you know best. I expected you to dive right in to ars. It's your binkie. Play on and enjoy. Just don't forget to show us All the Mods 😏 Always remember: nothing in dregora is going to hurt you here. It's a safe space (comparatively).
You should always take the string..especially if you want backpacks. You can also use rotten flesh for bps as well 10:20....you are looking for string..but yet you left 6 in the pillager outpost...lol

Why did you make the most convaluted ways to do things?? Like its bad with how some of the recipes are just have no thought process with it.

There’s a really sketchy effect that happens if you use the roller skates and the flamingo floaty belt. You basically shoot through the air faster than your computer can load chunks, until you collide with a wall. It’s great for traversing large areas that have a mountain on the opposite side of it, but also scary cause you basically can’t stop it until your game crashes, or you hit a wall.
Can’t wait for more!! Also looking forward to some AE! Watching you play it has helped me explore it :)
Tom's simple storage along with the banks or danks mods are super powerful early game mods for storage.

Great to see a more normal pack again. Wasn't a huge fan of RLCraft. Just a quick tip- the Onion Ring & Everlasting Beef combo is fantastic early-mid game. Everlasting beef works in a backpack with autofeed, so the onion ring gives permanent haste. I didn't need efficiency on any of my tools until much later in the pack.
Been using both and the Onion Ring is giving me so much haste, I keep breaking Blocks I don't intend to LOL
They really are amazing
RL craft is for hardcore PVE players while choosen is super noob in fighting

Some commands you can use as well for traveling are: back /spawn /sethome /home /rtp
Wow, your luck was opposite from mine. My new save, I never found any towers with Ars' gear and sharks were waiting for me when I reach ocean.
As someone who isn't very familiar with the mod I hope you can go with the slower pace than your former atm9 playlists.
Also please open the quest book / advancement more often to let us see how's the progress going.
I am trying to keep things more relaxed in this series and am still figuring things out myself so you will see the quest book.

Chosen, have you tried TNP 7? it has over 700 mods, and it's in a fairly recent version of MC, it also has a large amount of quests

Did you ignore the bookshelf and containment jar in that tower? The bookshelf usually has more codex entries in it that you can pull out with an empty hand.

It's better than watching him just building for multiple episodes when there's an amazing world to explore

My computer lags alot playing this but when it isn’t lagging its one of the best mod packs . I love it even while playing on 20-43 fps 😭
lmao i found a broom, too! it was enchanted (to my dismay after trying it out) to destroy blocks on collision. i blew a tunnel straight through the mage tower i had just finished building. 😀
I know I'm a little late to this comment, however I played through ATM10 most of the way. We got about halfway through the atm star and realized there is no end game content or things to do. We switched our server to atm9 and have been having a lot of fun with that pack now, and intend on completing it
They update the modpack almost everyday and thats how the ATM modpacks have always been! They will add new things as I play along
I love those relics so much! I think I was able to use the roller skates and other ones to become the flash and move more than 60000 blocks in about 3 seconds

I've since learned that with any pack, you gotta go with what you know best. I expected you to dive right in to ars. It's your binkie. Play on and enjoy. Just don't forget to show us All the Mods 😏
Always remember: nothing in dregora is going to hurt you here. It's a safe space (comparatively).

You should always take the string..especially if you want backpacks. You can also use rotten flesh for bps as well
