I used to think the same way about separate accounts etc. and though everyone's situation may be different my feelings changed when I met my husband. If I can't trust him with our finances than how can I marry him...trust him with my heart...my life...our children? When I had trust issues, when I was dating the wrong guys I felt like I had to protect my money. Just a little perspective for those who are considering marriage and vowing your lives to one another.
hi everyone ,if anyone else trying to find out saving marriage try Dalz Partner Mender Discovery (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my partner got excellent results with it.
You guys have a beautiful family! My husband and I just celebrated 20 years (not the first rodeo for either of us). We never co-mingled finances until a couple of years ago when my FIL passed away. We went out right away and did two things - took care of our funeral/burial plans and combined our accounts. We still have separate accounts - but they're linked together and we can each go online and see the activity in each other's accounts AND can transfer money around. I was laid off two years ago and haven't gone back and this really works for us. Since I don't contribute, he lets me transfer money from his account whenever I need to (we have a set limit that doesn't require me to talk to him about). We each have our own ATM cards. He's thriftier than me - I would spend every dime if it was my account! This works for us.
I been married for almost two years, and I agree with these tips. I am still working on some of the tips, but I am happy to he on the same page as my husband. Thanks for sharing m
I'm still in my first year of marriage!! We do have a joint account - we had to because of how some people made cheques out to us for our wedding. Because my husband makes significantly more money than I do, it's harder for me to contribute financially. But we do pay equal bills, percentage-wise. I loved this video!!!
I have been with my man for 34 years and your rules have been our rules! Being in a gay relationship is basically the same! The one big thing is respect each other, do not try to fix him! Thanks for saying what we are doing, it works!
