I loved the way you expressed your feelings towards your wolf pet. I had a wolf-dog (half wolf) and lost him as well. There are no words to describe how majestic they are. On a lighter note. The only reason I knew what you did for a living is because my grandma watches. I was just sitting at the table and heard your voice. It blew my mind for a week.
I really didn't know you were an actor in a daytime drama series for ages. :) It wasn't until I saw it mentioned in a response video once that I found out. So, I started following your channel based strictly upon the content of your videos. :)
@tomte47 Thanks! The only thing I could see myself going back to school for would be to become either an ethicist, or a psychologist. But I just... I don't know, I can't see that happening any time soon.
that was really impressive. Not only did you spill a lot more than I think most people would, you just come across as so genuine and sincere. Granted, I'm biased, anyone that is a cat lover is obviously a superior human being, without a doubt ;)
I appreciate your honesty & at the risk of sounding "cheesy," your sweetness. Sawyer is such a cutie patootie! I would like to offer my condolences for the loss of his brother. I have three cats & a dog named Sydney. Sydney & I just celebrated our 10-year Anniversary! In the past year, he has developed a number of health problems. As you spoke of your wolf and your other cat, it really touched me. Losing a furry BFF is devastating.
Without even going into how much I love your videos and points and such, you mentioning how awkward you were in high school, and your girlfriend of four years, as an extremely awkward high schooler right now, that really gives me hope for the future, Provided I manage to let myself experience the future. So thanks :)
What a beautiful cat Sawyer is! And I'm so sorry about you & him losing Desmond. For the past 25 yrs I've had a cat. The 1 I had before this 1 I have now, whose name is 8-Ball, got so sick I had to have him put to sleep. I couldn't stand to see him suffer. Losing him truly broke my heart. 8-Ball was a stray who came up to my place of work one day. He took to me immediately & shunned everyone else. I had to adopt him. I wasn't going to get another cat after losing "Boo" but 8-Ball is so special.
Man, I know what you are going through. I lost both of my cats that have been with me for the last 15 years this year and it was tough. As an atheist, I take comfort in that they will live on in my memories and the memories of everyone who have ever met them.
I love all your videos dude! They are so full of common sense and logic, along with an entertaining swagger you have. Thank you for them. You should be making a living with a partnership on UA-cam.
I'm so sorry about Desmond. We had a cat die suddenly and unexpectedly that left a surviving litter mate. It was only a little over a year old and it was devastating. The surviving kitty really started to withdraw from us after spending days alone without his little buddy. We ended up going to the shelter within 3 or 4 months to get her a new friend. The first few days were a little tense, but it soon made a world of difference and they were completely bonded very soon.
you just listed two of my top 3 favorite artists; Eminem and Cage the Elephant. (thethird is modest mouse) also you have no idea how happy i am that you're making videos again. you're easily my favorite youtuber. up there with thunderf00t
I'm glad to see you're making videos again! I'm really sorry about the loss of your other cat, Desmond. I love that you guys named them after Lost characters, and despite the fact that pets dying is sad enough...just hearing "Desmond died" just breaks my heart.
TBS, great job on all 3 vids...I just watched them all back to back.. Glad to see you are back on. Hope you, your girl and cat are doing well..:) And thank you for answering my question on the Creation bs in school etc. Creationism should not be taught in our public schools, especially in Science class.. Good luck out there and I look forward to seeing more vids from you....
I wonder if gold plating any metals that would come into contact with your skin would have any value (other than via the gold content) for preventing reactions? For most people this seems to work OK when it comes to piercings and such. Mere spray paint, as in the use of clear lacquer coatings, could work for belt buckles as a cheap alternative, although such coatings have quite a limited life and might need recoating every month or so.
Thanks for coming back to youtube, I really enjoy all your videos and I feel like I know you better now and only like you all the more for it! Please staaaaay and make mooaar vidoes :P haha - well you gotta do what you gotta do I suppose. Do you ever do stickam or any of that stuff any more? I sat in once or twice on those and enjoyed them.
Scott, you just reminded me with these new videos... ..that you're still my hero. :P Oh, and being the Trek nerd that I am, I will now mentally replace Chris Pine with you whenever I watch that movie again.
@Theoretical Bullshit It really comforts me that someone of your intellectual versatility didn't graduate from high school. I myself did not graduate. I dropped out early, got my GED and started working. This does not mean a person can stop learning. I applaud your love of knowledge, and your subsequent pursuant of it. Knowledge is power. The more knowledge one has, the more influence (therefore "power") one has over his/her environment. When I dropped out of school, I never really considered 'extra' education. But as I discovered things about the world. I felt the need to teach about it. Some of the most profound and wonderful concepts I could imagine.. Geology, chemistry, evolution, history, psychology and philosophy. I attempted physics, which let to my abandonment of understanding astrophysics. Yet I became a mechanic, carpenter, landscaper, philosopher, and a healthy skeptic. To everyone who does not know what to do in this world: Do what ever you are good at, and makes you happy. You can never be disappointed for being good at whatever it is that you are good at. And you can always be better at whatever you aren't good at. Thanks Theoretical Bullshit, you are a inspiration to many of your listeners..
At 5:37 I'm very sorry for your loss. I've had many furry family members in my life. I experience an unbelievable amount of grief for our last member who past away. He was an old English lab who passed away in July of 2014 from cancer. He lived for 6 weeks after being diagnosed and receiving chemotherapy treatments but the cancer was too advanced and aggressive. He was just 5 years old. I loved all of them. However, I regret not loving and/or appreciating our other furry family members as much as him. Witnessing his struggle with cancer and his passing was beyond brutal. It felt like and occasionally still feels like being hit with a baseball bat on the inside of my body. The weekend before he past when I thought about his passing I nearly couldn't breathe. It was because of the shear amount of grief I was anticipating. I wish I could have met Mist. (the wolf; I hope I got her name correct and I apologize if its incorrect)
@frezno109 Really? Never seen them live, but I like a few other songs on the album. Granted they weren't in the same league as No Rest, but have you heard "In One Ear"?
I dropped out in 11th grade too. I feel that I received a better education through going to adult ed. I did have some pretty good teachers through out my time in school though. It's just the administration and students that made my life hell in school.
cohol, which is why I still support either the legalization of marijuana in comparable levels to alcohol, or the illegalization of alcohol, to maintain consistency.
I fully agree on Marijuana. It has been legalised in many European countries, and the experience has so far been very positive. There have been also very interesting studies on Marijuana's influence on daily behaviour (like, e.g. car driving). I myself get blue when I take it, which is a pity. I hope the reefer psychosis in the US is subduing any time soon.
You would be great as Kirk! I agree about pot being illegal and alchohol not. You'll make a great parent...I can tell by how sweet-n-empathetic u r to Sawyer. U r a nurturer!
You should write a book about that wolf. You should also make a video full of book recommendations. I would like to read things I could learn things from.
I had no idea who you were until about a year ago, if I'd known previously I probably wouldn't have subscribed. (sadly judgmental on my part but honest) Love the wolf story, as I relate to it. Though I'm emotionally attached to a dachshund for life. I've never missed anything physical in my life, other then that dog I owned and had to give up (for her benefit) 16 years ago. Glad I found your channel before I knew you were semi-famous. btw WTF have you been?

A few points regarding what you said about drugs: 1) War on drugs does not affect the overall drug consumption. USA spends billions of dollars every year and sends drug users and traffickers alike into prison, yet more and more people are using drugs every year. Making drugs illegal does not stop people from using them. 2) Hurting other people already IS illegal, which is why I really don't get the point that some drugs lead into people getting hurt and therefore should be illegal.
Aren't you a poppet!! May I ask, what book most influenced your life and why? What points in it do you share with others? I would have to allow 2 as I have 2 but, that's me, I can't help it.
and wow, I never knew wolves, full blooded ones anyway, were fully domesticatable. like tigers, I thought the wild streak was still in them, and when the mood cartches right, they would go nuts and attack.

"Who's you favorite comic book hero?"
Mine is Jesus.
That's why you look find of familiar. My mother used to watch General Hospital all the time, and I'd sometimes see it in passing. I enjoy your videos.
William "Liam" Spencer on The Bold and The Beautiful

Please do videos of that also.
I hope your career really takes off. Good luck with future auditions. :3

My heart just broke when i found out he has a girlfriend... and then just shattered when he said he wants to marry her. Lucky lucky girl.
It's not really a comic book persona but Sherlock Holmes makes Batman look like a two bit detective.
@FiniteTurtles ok, I've gotten over the trauma so let me just add:
Welcome back! We're all glad to see/hear from you again.
You have already made a difference in the world...to me, big time.
You should write a book about that wolf. You should also make a video full of book recommendations. I would like to read things I could learn things from.
I had no idea who you were until about a year ago, if I'd known previously I probably wouldn't have subscribed. (sadly judgmental on my part but honest)

What was the thing you learned about speed that prompted you to say you wouldn't have done it if you'd known?
your smile makes me smile:)

Aint no rest for the wicked!!!! Yhea
@ghuegel But when you aren't wearing underwear, and you lean over or sit down, your skin touches the buckle. It's inevitable. So there.
OMG You auditioned for Glee???? What parts!?! Love that show and love you even more that you watch it and got far in the auditions!
Cage the Elephant! Excellent!
@ghuegel Oh, I ate it once.
...ONCE.
My roommate came home from Burning Man with these Really Special™ oatmeal cookies, and I tried one. Never been more sick in my entire life. Truly.
I described my symptoms to some friends who consume pot; they told me that I got pretty every side effect and none of the good ones. In ADDITION to the bat-to-the-noggin head-pain.
What are some of the most common, least perceived, or biggest parenting mistakes made?
Lmao, I just found this channel and I know what show your on, not the name but my mom has watched that show for like 21 years or something. She began when she was carrying my eldest brother.

PS: She REALLY hates your character.
Remember when he took down the devil by turning 5 fish into 500? That shit was awesome.Issue 45 i think.
It's true. I had no Idea what you did for a living.
Once you said your cat was named after the Lost character I actually yelled "YES"
Welcome back, Scott!
i would have loved if u had done Glee xD
@baraqiyal No, because generally I have more practical insight about their children than they even do. You don't have to be an astronaut to train astronauts, nor be a woman to teach women studies, nor live in the ocean to teach marine biology. That doesn't mean they have a clue how to raise one. Most parents are just feeling around in the dark.
You would have made an awesome Kevin Smith!
One other thing I wanted to say. My dad was Indian. He had a natural affinity for some animals. He absolutely loved wolves & had befriended a special.one when he was in Alaska. Kept it 4 many years, unit it was his time.
I know wolves are such special animals. I love to watch how they interact with each other, how they develop their social structure. Also how they relate to us humans.
I don't know what u think about this, or if it would even be proper, but I'd love to hear more about your wolf.
@gedgetips Spray paint is a really interesting idea, might be worth a shot. Thanks
I am allergic to metals as well. I tuck my shirt in for protection. Underwear doesn't come high enough to protect against the top button.
I once got a bubble chain to hold my idea and got hives all around my neck. It was an interesting opportunity for experimenting on treatment.
Methinks you doth protest too much. You express your emotions too well NOT to be a cyborg. :)
Condolences on the wolf.
I am extremely curious what the title of your mothers soon to be released book is. I watched your video at work and dont remember you mentioning the name...
It would be so cool to have a Corona and listen to some Eminem with you. It's so sweet to hear you talk about wanting to marry your girlfriend and have children. Sorry about Desmond. I saw you tweet it, but I was at a loss on what to say. Glad you're back and with a vengeance!
your cat look exactly like mine cept shes black/grey/brown tabby. both too cute for words.
Yeah, yeah, you're cute and all. But what is really ATTRACTIVE about you is your MIND! Love your channel for how you think and feel about religion and other related subjects. Your looks are just pretty curtains that frame a window (your mid) that I love viewing into. Thanks for sharing yourself.
i like your personal stuff videos. lets get some more personal stuff
TB, get another kitty so they can paw each other's noses and try to low-tackle you in the morning. And if it's a black cat name it Snowball.

Have you ever taken the MBTI? Also, thank you for giving me just a little more hope for humanity in general :)
lol I had no idea you were an actor up untill recently, That really explains why your so busy when it comes to youtube.
