Most people I know who have the A12 and A13 are happy with it they just need a phone that does the basics and it does that well .
I have an A12 for almost 2 years, and I am happy with it.
Most of the time people just text do calls watch stuff and go on social media,and a few play games.
The A13 is obsolete in some aspects, it has limitations in the hardware, for example, if I want to install the Movie plus app, it does not install and it tells you that the cell phone is not compatible, however if it is installed on the A50 and A03 and They offer the A13 at a higher price than those two. I do not recommend it.
8:30 At least one tech person out there who understands that some people don't need much, or whether the phone s curved or flat. Good battery life, internal storage higher than 60GB and decent camera, with UA-cam, Spotify and all google apps is good for me! Despite I can buy expensive phones, I just don't need to.😄

I bought this phone to use after my flip 4 and fold 3 kicked the bucket while on vacation. I also have an a53 5g, but it's locked to another carrier, so I don't use it daily. It's not as fast as any of the phones I mentioned. It is laggy or slow to start apps and services that I am used to being instant.
The fingerprint reader is a good option, but it's finicky. But it's better than any onscreen finger print reader

A crazy nut Samsung product! Wifi failed to detect any router devices, I reset network settings and reset all settings and still it couldn’t fix it, then I need to delete all data and software, then it fully restore all the things like it’s brand new from a box. What happened if the user chose not to setup Wifi after starting the brand new phone for the first time, then reset all settings including network setting couldn’t fix it! This is so time wasting because many buyers had to bring the phone back to the store for a refund or switch to another new unopened box! What the user need to get it fixed is to delete data and softwares! I mean if the phone had never been connected to the Wifi before, then why delete all data and softwares? Bye bye Samsung!

The a03 actually has a better processor and better benchmark scores compared to this which is weird. The only advantage this has is the 1080p screen and the usb c.

Hi i just got a new a13 lte but my simcard rom my samsung s5neo doesnt fit in teh slot of the a13. Did i choose teh wrong phone or can my provider fix this for me?

Just one add: I think I bought a newer version / upgrade of it and has 1440p screen! And it doesn't lag at all. As for the fingerprint sensor, I noticed that it isn't slow! It's just a double tap model sensor! That's because it is on the very thin button and as it reads a very thin slice of our finger it needs more samples of it to compare for the fingerprint! So simple. Just ALWAYS tap twice on it and there you go!

how durable are budget Samsung phones ?...............i have an old Galaxy S5 which has a better screen but everything else seems to lose out to this A13........
Lifesaver😁 My nation omits the 5g. I scoped the standard A13 and Ao4e in the store yesterday. Majority YT vids reviews are the more costly 5g.
I am not a phone freak and and keep the same phone years.
A13 can satiate. Has a jack and SD slot. Though 32 g I suspect fills quick.
Between you and I am tempted to splurge first time in my life and thus watched its more advanced stablemates.

It doesn't seem to have carrier aggregation for LTE much like recent 5G phones. LTE speeds are pretty low in this phone. Anyhow, the phone seems to get things done in most tasks.
I'm not big on phones or technology myself... Mostly for taking pictures, Phone calls and Texting, from time to time I might use it for Work! Not interested in 5G I don't tend to upgrade my phone unless it's needed I've had the Huawei P30 lite for over 3 years now, great phone I had other Huawei phone before this one and was happy with it after 4 years. But now looking for another phone due to this one having battery issues and memory problems. I was recommended this one so needed to know a bit more about it and also I like listening to music on the go and for meditation! So an Aux input is important for me. As I was told by a work colleague that many new phones are stopping Aux Inputs? But overall from this review and one on Instagram it appears to have what I'm looking for.

I has the Samsung Galaxy a13 and I love it just give me the basic only I don't care about the processor chip it's good enough for me I don't care about the cameras just take a picture I don't care about playing video games on it either just give me all the basic stuff I need just for a regular phone only talk text and data 4G LTE is good enough for me we do not have 5G in our area I can buy an expensive phone if I want to but why I'll never use any of that features

Even for that, I wouldn't buy it. Samsungs a series lineup, for whatever reason has hit a cliff in CPU performance in the past year, so everything is worse than last year as a result of them switching to their exynos chips, which also have heat issues, which could be a hazard later on. I'd recommend Motorola at that price
@@revengeoveraero9366 I don't game on my phone and just use it for basics so I'm not spending hundreds of pounds on a phone. I've always had issues with Moto phones and screen sensitivity/ghost touch problems.

@@mdluk199 the thing is performance in everyday usage sucks, the experience isn’t all that. My dad uses an A12 & I assume this A13 isn’t any different due to Samsung putting Exynos in A series but anyways he says he hates how slow it is for loading webpages or loading UA-cam or the time it takes to scroll out of an app to go to the home screen
@@dislikebutton4239 I had the A21 s and the performance was very good. Would think the A13 world be fine. Some older people mess their phones up my dad was complaining his phone was so slow. I had a look and he had over 100 Chrome tabs open and had used up all his internal memory as deselected sd card for photo storage. Some people could make a flagship run slow by not using it correctly my dad being one of them.

Pick up a nano sim for £1, stick it in the A13 but don't activate the sim, and it'll work fine for your needs.

Great phone, have mine on cricket, the back finish is a scratch magnet, never brought it out of house and scratches galore. But that’s a minor issue, has nfc, great screen!

Yes absolutely! I might actually do an updated review on the S10, but as long as you don't so much care for anymore major Android updates, its still a killer deal.

i upgraded to a13 64gb 4g from my note 8. it runs and looks good! try it person and see for yourself! a mid level phone for a budget price. i got mine for $150.
I have my own Samsung Galaxy A13 smartphone. The black one.
It's a great phone. A few things that suck is the 4gb of ram, but i don't game, yet I do multitask and basically do all my tech stuff on my phone, rarely use my laptop.
The 1 silly speaker that I bet is the same across all A series phones lacks any bass at all, it's just simple flat and doesn't get too loud.
Heavy use with the 5000 mah battery will last me a good 24 hours from 100 to 10 percent, and I can go 2 full days on light use. The battery is phenomenal, though my old moto G7 Power had the same 5000 mah battery, and it lasted twice as long. No.beuno.. but it's samsungs software that vampires all batteries..
Idk what the fuss about the pics is. I guess I'm not a photography "pro", but the front face camera is great, I always look the best in zoom meetings.. I will say this, I don't like that you can't zoom in on 50MP camera mode, due to the loss of the macro, stupid move. Otherwise the pics seem fine to me, they aren't pixel quality, but I'm not a photographer so I could care less.
5g capable is a necessity in today's age...4g lte will probably be phased out in the next few years.
The display and refresh at 90 hz is awesome, and for a non flagship phone you do sure feel good using it.
The look is a little Chinsy and cheap, it is made of recycled plastic, but it looks nice compares to some other phones I've seen...
Biggest plus yet is an available option for a. External Sim card, which I threw a U3 128gb in, on top of the phones 128 gb mem, so I'm not worried about needing more memory. Probably my favorite feature that is sadly disappearing. The option for external storage..
.... Also If your on tmobile and don't care about the latest flagship overpriced phone, and just want a decent smartphone, it's free if you upgrade your plan, and it's worth it imo.
Also comes with McAfee security and three years of updates, as well as Android 12, and 2 years of updates with that (will be offered A13 in the future from what I know).

Bought this phone to replace my iPhone 8 plus and its like punishment. It lags soo much especially on UA-cam and crashes

I disagree on that part.
I could see alot of the intense blues in the whites and colder colours which, to me, does strain my eye and it would not be a good experience.
While the color reproduction maybe good, it could've been better.
They probably used a pretty similarly calibrated display as the previous Galaxy A12 which was bright yet, not really eye pleasing.
As vibrant the colours are, they just look cold which does exaggerate warmer colors.
However, I suppose not many would care since, I know Samsung and they do make bright displays and the same can be said for this one.

I think it might be a bit too unfair. The A13, especially that low in the midrange market, would be at a complete disadvantage compared to the FE, which is the best of the best.

The battery losg lasting 9am to 9pm is good for cheap android.
It's a good phone but has a weaker battery and the power saver mode sucks compared to the A12. Still, it is a good phone to upgrade to. Just be prepared to charge it up more than usual.

I got it for free from Metro by t-mobile. I like it so light unlike moto g phone.

Really disappointed... I have to turn the mobile data on and off in my apartment because it just seems to lose connectivity which I didn't have issues when using my older model Motorola LTE phone. And in regards to pictures? Horrible. Blurry graining and zooming in on anything?! FORGET IT. So upset I wasted my upgrade on this.
I like my samsung a13 it's a good phone...but just remember, .there is no perfect phone......so why would I wanna pay over hundreds to $1,000 more for a phone when I don't need the extra features. The samsung A13 4g is a perfect budget phone for what it is. The display is so crisp for only $100 I got it at Walmart and I'm so happy with it......only thing I wish was better is storage, it only came with 32 GB so not a lot. Lol I need a microsd card soon and i didnt even put a screen protector on and I've got no scratches at all on it

Just with normal use and within 2 months of purchase, this Samsung Galaxy A13 phone automatically switched off and dead. Worst Purchase ever.

I've had this phone for 1 year now and I must say it's a PIECE OF CRAP. System storage that can't be accessed kept building up..can't properly clear cache..I hate it. I'm fixing to smash it on the ground then drive over it
I bought this , unfortunately..... I think it's probably the worst phone I've ever used. It's not all bad news but the screen flickers when you try and view photos taken with the highest setting and as for the video camera.... SHOCKING! shaky is an understatement! Great video by the way.
