Hey heiko would planers help keep those tangles from happening? Like the big orange offshore angler ones we used those for lead core and copper fishing for salmon and steelhead in lake michigan. Helps to keep them out to one side of the boat lessening the tangles. Would also wrap the line on the end so it wouldn’t actually release as intended so you’d fight the planer to the boat for a bit but it kept us from knocking fish off the line.

I think technically anything in a Pan on the stove would be called frying. There is pan seared, but that's when you put it in the oven after browning it..
As much sad you guys blind-troll you really should look into the Mylar spreader bars to pull behind boat as a teaser. They really attract fish to the boat from the deep and would help you guys catch a lot more fish. 😉
