120 rockets is way enough,that is almost a Box bro. On Vanilla you would always rocket shooting floor and leader up ,then blow beds and just rocket every door. Not just pummel the middle like crazy

Max’s evaluation of the duo base was a bit off, those are some fire compound peeks also I think raiders should get same boom for each base so it is clear who is better, the quality or quantity
@@thedarkcyclesince the duo better quality players rated the 6 mans base a 6 even though it was a YT build, they 6 man were upset & rating the 4x4 thats meta, more harshly due to spite when it was leagues better. If they rating were done in reverse the duo would receive a higher rating.
the first base they opened up the masssssssive shooting floor in 3 spots and didnt have rockets to get to tc.... second base they didn't open up the tiny shooting floor and lost rockets to get to the tc. They needed to use the opposite strategy for the opposite bases.
I only recently found your channel, and I’ve really been enjoying the content. With that being said, now that I’ve seen about a dozen videos in their entirety I can’t get over how many people just give up. Of course while playing a regular wipe it’s tactically sound to cut your losses when things aren’t going well, but in an event like this you have absolutely nothing to gain from quitting. I was just really surprised by this one because this raid team really impressed me during a majority of the first raid. Sure, they were pretty much cooked towards the end when shadow got those rockets back into base, but I still would’ve played out the last 9 minutes. The second raid on the other hand… how many rockets did you say that they still had!? so what if they didn’t have kits! Further more they were up against 6 less experienced players! Huddle up and start scheming. Sure whatever you try isn’t going to have great odds, but who’s to say that can’t confuse one of the defenders, and then they accidentally leave a door open or do something stupid, which leads to someone making a play that turns things around. I’ve seen crazier things happen in rust.
That nade push into the FOb by Shadow was dirty and amusing 😂 bro racked up like 10 kills in 2 minutes just by throwing nades into the open roof, youd think 30k hours the raid team would be a little more aggressive and strategic about how they started off that raid
I think this raid team is maybe a little less compitent than theur 30k hours suggests ngl, that first raid did not go well, ive never played rust but ive watched ALOT of rust content (many hundreds of hours, its my favorite game to watch ppl play) so heres what id have done differently, again this is the first of the 2 raids. Firstly i agree with targeting the roof first, the defenders had some very oppressive peaks and like mentioned earlier on their base was basically made of peeks, the first thing after that tho is id have picked a side, left or right from the front facing gatehouse, and then taken out the compound walls to open up the compound more, pushing into a compound before you can hold down the angles inside of it is just a terrible idea bc the defenders can and will chain kill you exactly like they did, taking the walls on one side of the gatehouse would have given them a decent close angle they could have began pummling the lower floor from while being close enough to reduce the effectiveness of the remaining roof peaks so that we could have pulled the bolty forward and done a full 6 man ground level assault after cracking the compound wall, after that id have had 1 guy watch the outward angles to stop any flank attempts by the defenders while the remaing 5 split up 2 rocketers and 3 gunners to push, having the rockets hide behind the walls and peek in just to throw rockets into the base while the 3 gunners worked on locating turret angles to avoid and preventing the defenders from pushing out of the main structure to shut down the rockets, with a 3 to 1 numbering you can play really aggressive bc you can basically have 2-3 people nonstop rocketing while the others provide suppressive fire and work on pushing into the base to try and drain the defenders resources and kits bc if you have 3 people gunfightinh 2 at close range like that recovering kits is almost impossible for the 2 man. After getting a half decent foothold within the compound id have change the split to have 4 guys play wheres the tc with rockets while the 2 others continue to keep the defenders on the defensive and keep the pressure on them so theyd have a harder time thinking during their defense. At that point i think the raid would be over fairly quickly as the defenders resources would be basically gone and their ground floor would be swiss cheese and if tc hadnt be found by that point my suggested use of rockets would have left them with more boom to find tc with as they wouldnt have wasted 30 extra rockets on the shooting floor, all they had to take out was the very forward facing wall of the roof like they did and then pummel the rest into the ground floor of the base, they had enough to almost collapse the base by erasing the ground floor if theyd been smarter, not quite enough if my math is correct but by that point they 100% would have hit tc bc the inside of the ground floor would have been almost entirely cored out, edit for anyone who actually bothered to read that, again i have never played rust myself but have watched many hundreds of hours of gameplay and most of the content creators for it. This is purely my own theoretical idea of how they could have won and im certain you may have some opinions about my ideas here but at the end of the day im just havin a bit of fun theorizing a raid plan that would have worked without abusing the fact that of course bc i watched the video i know where tc was. I do think they played that raid pretty badly, i mean getting chain killed while making the FOB bc you didnt get the roof up fast enough is kind of a nooby raider mistake, i mean shadow was BALLSY to push a 6 man FOB with nades but after he got the first 5 kills id have closed that shi up post haste so he couldnt just keep doing that. Edit 2: so far the second raid is going EXACTLY like i theory crafted the first one shoulda been done so maybe i was actually cookin, they got their FOB sealed very safely, didnt waste rockets on the upper floor walls, used the compound walls for cover to rickrt the lower florrs from and had 2-3 raiders always providing suppressing fire against the defenders so they cant push out. And i take that back now in edit 3 bc they just keep running it down mid and losing kits inside of the compound. final edit: wow yeah just about half their rockets left and one guy fired almost all of the rockets used, they lost most of their launchers, they fed the defenders all of their kits, like bro 30k hours? Are you SURE? Aint no way a team with a total of 30k hours did that bad in a raid, like im guessing that maybe raiding isnt their strong suit yk? Maybe all 5 of the 6 are just builders or something 🤷♂️ but even then they built their FOBs slow af aswell. Given the same resources and a team of 6 im fairly certain i coulda won both of those raids in under half the allotted time, you gotta get those rockets out fast and consistent to they cant seal and you have to keep hold of your kits, ive seen countless raids fail exactly like this bc the raiders just keep feeding sets without thinking about it and then all the sudden theres 15 ak kits in the compound and the defenders get like one good seal and boom raids over and you just donated a grip shit of loot to the base owners 😂
Vanilla rust was a very fun first time gamings experience with the boys but game is 100 times better now, The base building evolution over the years are crazy intresting

I absolutely loved how many different accents popped up in the first few seconds of hearing the raiders. So rad that this game brings so many nationalities together.
The raid team was very uncoordinated. I also think raid team should have atleast 5-10 minutes with 5 ladders in total to scout the inside of the compound or at least have more time to look at the base. That’s not how clans raid (good clans). More info is a lot better than more rockets. I also disagree with the raid team’s comment of having at least 170 rockets, they are also slow at building a raid base, i know a lot of 4 man teams that can build a raid base with just 2 people covering and 1 guy building-1 guy upgrading that can build twice the speed and far larger raid base.
The one outter peak on the 6man team that looked right at the furnace would be 100% better if u put a campfire there so when you crouch and climb ontop of it you get a way better angle down.
I got an idea, you make 2 teams both have the same hours (duo) and have 1 team build a fixed base design wither that be a youtube or their own original base design and have the other team free hand their base. Then get a team of 𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂 𝓬𝓪𝓹𝓪𝓫𝓵𝓮 𝓻𝓪𝓲𝓭𝓮𝓻𝓼 and see the results. The only problem I see is it might be to one sided but it would be very interesting to watch.
When I just started watching the channel that's what I thought it'd be like. Seeing a third party team be introduced idk ruined it a bit. Make it either 2v2 3v3 4v4 1v1 both build and raid each other after. Would be a lot more balanced/interesting.
Quality of the hours, if you jump on and spend 1000 hours being taught by a pro at the game those 1000 hours will be worth much more than 10k hours learning from scratch solo. Quality of the quantity 😅
what if, so it coudent be a draw, you allowed the raiding team to raid untill they got to tc using unlimited rockets but not giving the raiders all of the rockets at once

I mean, yes numbers can make a difference in a raid but at the same time whoever is defending if they play it smart you can win against a small group like that as long as your base can actually take a beaten and I do agree with some of the comments if you’re going to bumble you bumble from one side only
Max, for every base using "unrealistic" building standards, you should give extra boom. If for example theres a fake external when in a realistic situation, that would make the base upkeep unsustainable for a small team, then what's stoppping them from building 15 externals with walls between them to make it completely ridiculous. Also if the tc is not in a standard place, the raiders should get some extra boom but not be told that this was a consideration when told how many rockets they get.
yea I never understood this ''non standard'' tc placement stuff they're pulling. Like who would put their TC off on a side like that...? It should just be in the core ground floor. Not a fan of that displaced TC idea
@@Daminionz it would be over in 20 mins if tc wasnt in a displaced section of the base, that's the main point. TC should still be excessible for the defenders to reach but difficult for the raiders to find. There's a reason they have 100+ rockets.

I learn sometimes a bit of raid defence tips and tricks but that's about it. Nothing about ''oh this base is good design'' or whatever, apart from if you build in deep water I guess that's broken. This displaced TC strat is not what common player does, and idk it adds nothing to the vid apart from raider frustration as you're having to raid around looking for it like a buffoon, then ofc they complain it's not enough rockets because while technically they got into core, they now need IDK X amount of rockets more because ''goofy aah minigame guess where the TC is in my megabase'.
Them not putting double doors down every chance they get on the front gate costed them everything… just replacing those doors and keeping them from getting in would have stopped it
unpopular opinion, but you need to bring in a new team of raiders, 79ms has been in enough, and just in my opinion dont have any game sense, hes a modded player and doesnt know the basics of shooting a bow.

these raiders are very interesting
I mean, yes numbers can make a difference in a raid but at the same time whoever is defending if they play it smart you can win against a small group like that as long as your base can actually take a beaten and I do agree with some of the comments if you’re going to bumble you bumble from one side only
Max, for every base using "unrealistic" building standards, you should give extra boom. If for example theres a fake external when in a realistic situation, that would make the base upkeep unsustainable for a small team, then what's stoppping them from building 15 externals with walls between them to make it completely ridiculous. Also if the tc is not in a standard place, the raiders should get some extra boom but not be told that this was a consideration when told how many rockets they get.
yea I never understood this ''non standard'' tc placement stuff they're pulling. Like who would put their TC off on a side like that...? It should just be in the core ground floor. Not a fan of that displaced TC idea
@@Daminionz it would be over in 20 mins if tc wasnt in a displaced section of the base, that's the main point. TC should still be excessible for the defenders to reach but difficult for the raiders to find. There's a reason they have 100+ rockets.

That's the point. Half these videos are just meaningless really. I learn sometimes a bit of raid defence tips and tricks but that's about it. Nothing about ''oh this base is good design'' or whatever, apart from if you build in deep water I guess that's broken.
This displaced TC strat is not what common player does, and idk it adds nothing to the vid apart from raider frustration as you're having to raid around looking for it like a buffoon, then ofc they complain it's not enough rockets because while technically they got into core, they now need IDK X amount of rockets more because ''goofy aah minigame guess where the TC is in my megabase'.

Them not putting double doors down every chance they get on the front gate costed them everything… just replacing those doors and keeping them from getting in would have stopped it
unpopular opinion, but you need to bring in a new team of raiders, 79ms has been in enough, and just in my opinion dont have any game sense, hes a modded player and doesnt know the basics of shooting a bow.
