- Saw some protesters with signs driving north on the Las Vegas strip. Recorded on HDCAM tape in 1440x1080/24PsF resolution, with 8-bit/3:1:1 Y:Cb:Cr sampling, 4.4:1 DCT compression, and captured in 1920x1080/8-bit/4:2:2-YCbCr/24PsF resolution with DNxHD 115 Mbps 1920x1080/8-bit-YCbCr/4:2:2 encoding settings.
The 'Gamma' option was switched "ON" in the settings menu, with the HyperGamma 3 option selected and the 'Gamma Step' option was set to 0.45 (equivalent to logarithmic 2.22 gamma curve used by REC.709) settings were used on the Sony CineAlta HDW-F900R during this shoot; gain was -3 db (effectively 240 ASA/ISO equivalent sensitivity), ECS 48.02 Hz shutter setting, ATW (automatic trace white) balance, 1/4 ND filter along with 5600 K CC filter was used, with automatic iris controls enabled on the Fujinon 17X7.8BDERM SD lens with 4:3/16:9 aspect ratio converter and 2x zoom extender.
P.S. All focusing and backfocusing elements on this lens were manually controlled during operation, forgive me for user errors resulting in the footage.
P.P.S. No grading was done on this footage, it's the direct output from the camera.
at least there wasn't a mob of zombies in the street. btw the chat is back.
Do you still have this broadcast camera or another one?
Also, this SD lens affects the image quality.
It's not too bad, but I think the colors could be much nicer.
Thank you anyway.
Yes, I still have it.
what camera did you use?
A Sony CineAlta HDW-F900R 2/3" 3CCD (FIT-based CCDs) HDCAM camcorder, with a Fujinon A17X7.8BDERM-M28 (4:3/16:9 aspect ratio switchable) B4-mount SD lens attached.
