Chris Paul TAKEOVER! 🔥 30 PTS & 10 AST helps halt Pelicans' comeback effort to take Game 1
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 вер 2024
- Chris Paul erupted for the Phoenix Suns, dropping 30 PTS, 7 REB, 10 AST & 3 STL on 11-14 FG with 4-5 3PT as the Suns thwarted the Pelicans' comeback effort to take Game 1, 110-99. Chris Paul is now the oldest player in postseason history with 30 PTS & 10 AST. That distinction was previously held by Steve Nash, also for the Suns, in Game 1 of the 2010 West Conference Semifinals.

Didn't think I'd ever see this elite PG for the Hornets play his career all the way to 36 years of age, leading a Phoenix Suns team into the playoffs...multiple times 🤦🏾♂️
I don't think people really understand just how difficult this is. CP3's really helped to create something special over there.
Didn’t think I’d see this Elite Scronny Pg from a local college dominate March madness average 30 multiple times in the nba then proceed to win championships also he is going to beat the suns this yr in the wcf. People don’t realize he basically changed the whole nba
(CASUALS DONT KNOW WHO IM TALKING ABT)😂😂😂
he added to that Bubble team that was 7-0. They already had a solid core ---CP took them to the next level
This is what a leader should do. Not some one who put up 30+ a night consecutively himself only, disregard any form of teamwork and even stat pad in garbage time.
@@1Nolimittmo casuals? dude stfu EVERYONE KNOWS WHO TF YOU TALKIN ABOUT
@@1Nolimittmo only casuals would think Curry is better than CP
Aging like fine wine. An absolute superstar.
Totally👍
physically Chris Paul declined a long long time ago but he mitigated the physical decline by completely mastering the midrange to level's few have ever reached in the history of basketball and his skills are at an all time high along with his iq. he's in his grandmaster prime right now.
well said
That's how you play the game as you age. You don't push your body beyond its limits like you did in your teens and 20s. Your body will let you know every time that you're getting older, and you gotta change your game. Even Kobe did it.
CP is almost 37 and still playing elite basketball. Definitely a joy to watch
Point God
Let's go y'all gotta see Memphis TN this year
CP3 said let me show y’all Youngsta’s how I use to get down in New Orleans in his Melvin off Baby Boy voice…he a killa like Henry was!!!!
His stats are absolutely insane... Shooting 75%(67% from 3pt), 100% from ft, leads team in points, assists, steals and 2nd in rebounds at the same time managed (+/-) at +20. Also just a reminder he's only 6'1" and he's 37 years old...
LePaul

He's 6'1 on a good day. He's more like 6' even
Feel like this might be the best playoffs in a minute
Yeah since that crazy kawhi run
Might be boring since the Suns are gonna bulldoze everyone

Dem big ol women down in Phoenix
Waiting for the internet to find her name lol
They buildin em different now ah days
Smooth, natural and basic yet, one of the smartest player this era have ever seen.
A good group of teams and matchups this season. Let’s go suns all the way!
the Point God up to his usual tricks
"A three from Tempe!" That was a good call
where are all the no PG at this age has been this good post, comments & segments for CP3 🤔🤔🤔
Steph will be better at 36
@@Nick-po5eq idc Steph is not better than CP3. Better shooter that’s it.
did i hear that right!? 7/7 on FG in the 4th? dude took over when they needed him to score. Unreal.
I think he technically missed one---it was an end of clock 3 point shot with less than 30 seconds in the game, I believe.
I mean this has to be the year he finally wins right?
I hope so but idk I’m lookin at giannis right now he just looks like fvckin abomination out there. Just tore my bulls apart
@@letsgobrandon1906 if Derozen couldn’t get past Lebron then how is he gonna get past Giannis? A lot of similarities there.
@@letsgobrandon1906
Giannis is amazing, but Suns held him to under 20 points in both games this season. They got bigger with McGee and Biyombo. And they’re not gonna lose to the Bucks back to back years.
Warriors have entered the chat 💬

Almost 37…next month
@doomzdesire20 _ I thought rings were a team accomplishment? I guess Robert Horry is better than Michael Jordan. Thanks for clearing that up! You really do know a lot about hooops!
Lebron??
that's nice and all but Lebron James exists and he plays on the NBA too 😂

His mid range game is nasty

Hate to say it but the Suns have everything to win it all this year :O they are complete :O They need to do it this year. CP3 deserves that ring !
Point God 💯🏀
Point god 🤷🏾♂️ simple ring or not
Shorty at 3:09 is a piece
Suns will win the western conference.
Tatum, CP3, and Kyrie had the best games this past weekend. Maxey and Giannis runners up
Dayum!
Close-out Chris is a different breed. If he played like this against the Bucks, they would've won the chip last year.
Yea that’s exactly why he’s on a mission this yr.
Fr Booker was in the trenches alone last year in those last 3 games
He was injured
Every under dog team has put the “expected winners” on their Heels tonight
didnt get injured, dominated the 4th. we'll take that any day
My goodness the vision the man has
Cp3 is sooo goood😭😭😭
2:03 Ben Mcclemore have some flashbacks
If the Suns and the Celtics face each other in the finals, I wouldn't mind my Boston Celtics losing coz CP3 is one of the few players I want to see win a ring before retiring.
CP3 Last of the old guards, I hope his Team reach the finals.
CP should be nominated for MVP
I am not a SUNS or PELICANS fan but folks on UA-cam I have a question who thinks the SUNS are going back to the NBA Finals? I don't now don't get me wrong I respect Chris Paul, Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton though. Monty Williams is one of my favorite coaches in the NBA. The SUNS pissed me off in the finals last year because I wanted them to beat the BUCKS. I feel like they blew that opportunity. I am a Sixers fan and I want to say this I respect the Pelicans. I love the city of New Orleans and I have never been there, I can give the city love off of their sports/ music talent. The Saints to be exact. Um I like CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram they are straight up ballers. Zion Williamson will be a baller whenever he plays. I respect Willie Green because he used to play with my Sixers. He may end up being a good coach.
Listen if you like the Suns or the Pelicans smack that like button I bet I will not find many Pelicans fans
The Pelicans didn’t even blow it, they just didn’t have an answer for CP3 when he went lights out
Point God mode
You like a good wine Paul.
I just wanna see Paul win a title before he retires and don't care what team it's with.
he has to keep this mindset going cus this is scary if he starts having a score first mentality along with his basketball IQ and ability to create for others…he only takes smart shots too man
dribble assist shoot,classic
Wait what happened at 3:45
Not a fan and I knew he is good, but I had thought that he is that good!
I honestly got the pelicans 😂
If anyone was wondering why booker was never really in the mvp conversation, this is why. He's got an elite equal as a teammate
I agree but it's also kind of the wrong way to look at things from a voters perspective. If CP was on the Nuggets would that disqualify Jokic, or Giannis if he was on the Bucks?
@@solitude7566 it would, and has been that way for years. Lebron didn't win mvp in 2011 because Wade and Bosh were still in their primes. KD and Curry never won mvp together, even tho they had the top 2 record in the league and were the best players on that team. The 2012-2015 spurs never had an mvp those years even tho they had some of the best records in most of those years because there was no clear number 1 above the rest.
@@MrE_ I should have phrased my question, "should" it disqualify. The MVP award should go to the guy who had the best season. There are multiple factors to consider when determining "best" but having another star on the team is a bad reason to eliminate someone from consideration. Booker's numbers actually went up when CP was out because of higher usage and the team still won. It's true when you have a team with two stars that the credit for wins is split, but a single star with very high usage is going to have more opportunities for higher numbers with worse team results.
I'm not making a case for a Booker MVP but if CP was on Denver and the team had 60+ wins that would only make Jokic look better in my eyes.
@@solitude7566 yea I don't agree with how voters vote a lot of the time. Personally, I wouldn't just vote "best player on one of the best teams," I'd just vote for the best player that season. Kobe for example should have won some more mvps, but his team was trash. I would have voted him a couple times
I hope cp3 gets his ring this year. This is probably his last chance and Booker a$$ got injured smh
Just dont get injured, please!!!!!
I need the @ of that woman @3:09
I called this and the suns still won
Cp3 becomes LePaul
720p by the way
Zion or bust
He cut from that cloth

Greatest frontrunner in NBA history
Chris Paul is a stone cold killer and one of the best clutch players to ever lace them up. Stop hating.
Front running is what Lebron (taking his talents to South Beach) and KD (the Hardest Road) did lmao. Other than Houston all CP3 has ever done in his career is joined lottery and borderline 8th/9th seed teams and taken them to deep playoff runs.
@@clrdr7 lol Bron isn’t a from runner and Cp3 isn’t one
That would be Bron.

Half of the crowd weren’t standing up or clapping or cheering that’s how you know they are bandwagons
Real fans have sadly been priced out again by rich bandwagoners who spend most their time talking selfies and posting them on social media.
I just don’t want to see Booker, the Fake Kobe, get a ring…
I'm a fan of cp3, he's great, he trains the hardest, he tries every single game to win, even by helping the officials make the correct calls, but..... I notice his trend towards the end of playoffs since he was with rockets, and he always get injured, and I'm 70% -80% sure he will get injured again. I hope the coach manages his minutes wisely.
Noice ! 👍🏿
Kyrie should be most of the talk tomorrow morning. Kyrie vs. Celtics fans. Suns did what they were expected to do. Suns vs. Warriors WCF should be an entertaining series. Grizz or TWolves aren't beating the Warriors.
Pat4Clippers now this definitely isn’t going to happen. Looks like your jinxing saga is going continue
Cp3 should of won mvp especially they gave it to steve nash with the same record as each other. Let me find out the nba is still racist an gave mvp to the white guy .
