This Chris Paul was a 99 overall lol
2k7 he was a beast

Favorite player ever.
He was elite. David Stern had to veto that trade. That's all you need to know how elite he was.
@@FORBIDCharlie1986people really got Kyrie over dis man
Monty Williams, Willie Green, Chris Paul. Dayum.
And you forgot Jarrett Jack
Cp3 was clutch and had great performances in playoffs but he didn't have elite start teamates and dealt with injuries.
Sounds like 90% of his career. Overrated teamates who didn’t play well in big games, a shit ton of injuries, and just some plain bad luck throw in one or two choke jobs and it’s just a tragic story. People over blow his reputation of choking but he’s had a few moments for sure. But typically he’s been much better in the playoffs then given credit for and just ran into better teams or bad luck with choking teammates and Injuries.
Nothing tragic in his career, cmon bro. Even though he didn't win a ring his career is still amazing and he is easily top 7 PG of all time. In what way it's tragic lol. Like it's a bit unfortunately that he didn't win but that's about it. Winning championship still requires luck cause it's a team and not an individual sport + injuries are a thing and CP3 just like a lot of other greats before and with him - he lacked luck big time resulting in not winning a chip. He really only choked one series which was Clippers vs OKC. His reputation of choker holds no weight is more of a byproduct of his over competitiveness as well as flopping and constantly arguing with refs rubbing some players and a lot of fans the wrong way, nothing else. @@TheIcemanthomas
Happy Birthday to point god CP3!!!!
I second that 💯
One of the best playoffs of all time
If David Stern Never Stoped The Trade of him Going To L.A. He Would Have A Ring.......No B.S.
He did go to LA....and he couldn't even make it to the Western Conference Finals. Lol!

NOLA CP3 was the franchise's best player and arguably the greatest prime of a PG ever.
JOKES.. CP3 PERIOD

@@JoePuig steph a one trick pony CP3 did everything great and competed against guys like kobe lebron KG, TD, Dirk and etc in their prime when curry started winning they weren't giving lebron MVP's anymore kobe was done KG TD & Dirk retired CP3 had tougher competition tougher era

I literally got the Chris Paul State Farm ad while clicking on this video💀
You can tell the game plan was to force CP left but he was just torching them anyway
Yea not the greatest idea to force the best point guard in the nba left. Bro is small and got there for a reason lol
I forgot all about this hornets team and this version of chris Paul. This team was fun to watch...he was fun to watch and a relentless defender
Who remembers Kobe dunking over Okafor in this series?
Up high down hard
I miss the crowd in Every NBA game. These last 2 seasons sucks.
lmaoooo look at who cp3 is playing with
Yeah no stars and cp3 deserved more help definitely but there's some good talent on this team Landry Emeka marco beleneli was a great shooter ariza was good even this far back ... just unfortunate they didn't have another star to pair with cp3
This is an all-time Hornets CP3 performance ever 🔥
Cp3 was a 99 overall
My dad was at this game
Good game
"Inadvertent"? "Ron Artest"? "Elbow"? Coincidence?
They didn't even shoot threes like that. The game is so different now it's actually horrible now it was better back then
Lemme guess u think todays players are soft shoot too many threes and ur a Kobe/mj fan
@alaricjackson6520 They are soft That's why they shoot three points instead of going to the basket To get a three point play😳😳😳😳
@@courtneymiller2680 giannis embiid joker lebron fox kawhi kd Jimmy those are some of the best in the game and their interior/mid range games are what they excel at if u don’t like curry and dame just say that lmao
@@courtneymiller2680 I nvr knew adding a skill that opens up the mid range and paint was being soft
@@alaricjackson6520 Bro, the only reason they shoot all those Three pointers it's because they're scared to go to the basket bro
Oh i didnt know ariza played for new orleans
He sure did. He played for almost all the team in the Nba
Only if he could have played with A.D. NOLA might have had a ring.
Give prime CP3 rondo Celtics they win 2-3 rings
CP0-CHOKER! 🤷🏻😂🤣😭

In new orlands, this dude got injured in 2010 unluckily and still came back to the team ealier just for playoff position locking, however, everyone is talking about how he constantly got injured in playoffs, it is a huge disrespect for him.
CP3 perfect example of making everyone better
Of course. In 2011 Paul took on a lakers team with kobe, artest, odom, bynum with David west injured and still pushed them to 6 games.
He a little bron low key

@@kinGsaL1515 insanity but hey it is 2024
@@kinGsaL1515as a point guard? Sure. But LeBron is better overall
These kids literally dont know anything about hornets cp3. Best pure point guard of our generation
This series is what solidified why prime CP3 is the greatest true point guard of all time
I grew up idolizing CP3 but that's a cap. CP3 is definitely there in the conversation and at least top 10 but the best undisputed Poing Guard peak king is Magic. After Magic everything is not as clear and depends on how you categorize players. Like if you consider Curry a PG in such conversations (there are more than enough argument to consider him as SG despite him officially being listed as PG cause really during the GSW domination real Point Guards of the team were Green, Iggy and Livingston. Curry was simply too much of a threat and to viable to run plays for off ball and utilising multiple screens and lots of ball movement and ironically Curry was playing more as a true point guard when they were still a mediocre team and he was already pretty damn good back then it just wasn't the Curry we all know today until GSW started to utilized him a bit differently) is also a higher peak. And CP3 vs Nash/Kidd/Oscar/Zeke is very subjective and arguments could be made for each of them to be better or worse than each other and there is no real answer other than Magic being the 1 and Curry being 2 if you consider him PG and not SG (to make it makes more sense to threat him as SG in such conversations. CP3 got a really devastating and career impacting injury back in early 2010 which insta removed a lot of his athleticism. Who knows, if not that injury maybe he would potentially peaked even higher at some point of his career but as the things ended the way they did he peaked right before the injury in 07/08 and 08/09 seasons.
@@lunacy5510 magic was Kareem’s back up center so miss me with that point guard bs. I clearly said CP3 is the best “true point guard”. Steph is a shooting guard in any other lineup in history, zeke is the only one I can understand putting above CP but Nash’s mvps are fraudulent, kobe should’ve won, and there is just no way you could watch Jason Kidd and think he’s better than CP3
He had a trash roster
Imagine having an AD and CP3 duo
I remember watching this playoff series. I believe Lakers won but would lose to the Mavs next round. It was also the last time Phil Jackson coached the Lakers
Ye. Also, Grizzlies officially beginning their grit era and upsetting the Spurs. Shaq retired, Celtics dynasty kinda ended this year too (the rest was just Rondo stats show but the team slowly dying out until turnin the next chapter with Tatum and Brown years later) and Ray Allen switched the sides after that year joined Heat and made arguably most iconic finals shot all time the next season, Howard at his most dominant year ever (snubbed from MVP that year) losing to Hawks, Durant, Wesbtrook ,Harden era OKC first playoffs win and so on. Looking back 2011 was such iconic playoffs.
Dang I wish we could’ve kept cp3 in the city
Point God
CP3 is a baby Magic that can flat out ball
Jokic doing this every night
Imagine if they allowed him to go to the lakers. He would have made it easier for Kobe, he didn’t have to retire as early, who knows what would have happened, he may still be here.
Bruh stfu what was Chris Paul guna do fly the helicopter 😂
5:50 the Hornets by 4?
86 - 90
Point God ???? ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!!! 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
RINGS ? MVP's ? How many he got though... 🤷🏻
Rings and mvps don’t have anything to do with the point guard position. When it comes to being a pg cp3 is the full package. His value is up there with greats. The only thing that slowed him down was injuries. It may be an excuse but it’s a valid one you can’t prevent injury.
He deserved an MVP, only they preferred to give it to Kobe in 2008 who didn't deserve it🤷😘
rings are a team award
