At 18, this was my first metal show. A 3 day festival of rain, mud and total chaos. Slipknot were the main reason I went, and they blew my fucking mind. This performance is why I got a Slipknot S tattoo, it's why I made a Corey jumpsuit and mask that I fortunately got signed a year later after meeting Corey and the whole band after the Ozzfest 2001 show (same venue). This 2000 performance set the bar for the hundreds and hundreds of shows I've seen in the 24 years since then. Hands down this X-fest performance and the 99-2000 Slipknot era energy and chaos is unmatched in a live setting.
I was in the penitentiary in 2000. Slipknot suited my situation and describes how I felt... thank you for getting me through that situation. Slipknot kicks ass..
The real Slipknot. From vol.3 they become shit. And i Say more. I dont like Iowa too.. for me the Essence of the Slipknot concept art Is the self titled and After that we lose the original Slipknot "Idea"
Man Paul's bass tone was so heavy and badass. Its unmatched till this day. He was an amazing bassist. Super underrated but he was one of few that shadowed the guitar to a T. Other musician's will know what i mean by that
this show clears dynamo 1000%
Yes. Corey literally sounds like the studio version here.

24:17 (LOL, So much for that statement. Clown and Corey run the band. They absolutely care about $ or they wouldn't have fired Joey, Chris, etc.)

I’ve never been a fan of these guys but I can definitely respect their craft. These guys are experts of their respective instrument(s).
