In one interview Biden said he had been trying to stay awake. I have had the experience of being so tired and overwhelmed that I almost fell asleep on my feet and definitely lost consciousness for a couple of seconds. Looking back at the interview, I can well believe that that's what happened to him. It's weird experience and normally I would think it's not possible ... but it happened to me and I never was under the kind of pressure that he is - and I was 40 years younger. Just my tuppence worth.
Very jet lagged and a really bad cold. That'll do anyone down for a minute. He came back strong.

Joe was jet lagged, had a cold, over schooled for the debate on general run down and ill.
All it would have taken to make Joe less effective was for the doctor to have prescribed an antihistamine for his cold, or for him to even taken an over-the-counter antihistamine. They effect me that way!

Dont envy our warm weather here in the western USA. We are suffering a heat wave. 120° in Las Vegas yesterday. A Motorcyclist died in Death Valley from the heat and another was flown out to hospital for heat exhaustion. It's absolutely soul sucking from about 9 AM till 5:30 PM. Lows that won't drop below 90°. Dear Ellie, I love your videos and your readings!!! However, I disagree with your comment at about 13:05 that a Democrat president would not change the "presidential immunity" ruling. I believe, and certainly hope, that Democrats are too smart to allow "presidential immunity" to stand. They should be well aware that the US founding founders believed and stated that NO PERSON is above the law. That was one of the key issues for breaking away from England. I hope and believe that a Democratic president would overturn the SCOTUS ruling on the knowledge and understanding that a Republican president at some future date could use that ruling to totally lay waste to the US democracy. Truly, that particular ruling is a blatant abrogation of the Constitution and founding documents of the United States.
