As I watch this on Sunday, soon after shedding tears from the breaking news of President Biden stepping down. There is a serenity, and acceptance of the need for change. I understand your compassion for Biden, I feel it too. What I most empathize with him for is how the Repugs have tried to bring him down by attacking his son, & trying to put him in prison for crimes a first offender would get probation for. He has suffered a lot of loss in one lifetime, he doesn't deserve to have his party abandon him, esp when he has done such a great job as POTUS, while the Repugs have fought him every step of the way, trying to get him to fail.

I met President Biden when he was a senator for Delaware and I spoke with him months before he announced his run for 2020.
