When I Buy, prices goes down. When I Sell, Prices goes up. So instead I entered a Buy and Sell position the same time, the chart hasn’t move for 2 years. The broker is about to go bankrupt because I refuse to close my Sell or Buy.
As soon as I understood the “can’t buy if no one sells and can’t sell if no one buys” concept and who has the capital to move the market everything for me changed.

I can't think of how many times I've thought: If only I'd ignored logic and simply executed trades that were the opposite of "what I should do," then I'd make money! Lesson learned. Do the opposite of what's logical and you'll make money very easily.

Yeah, more reason I enjoy my day to day market decisions is that i'm being guided by a portfolio-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time, both employing profit-oriented strategy and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downtrends, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis, it's quite impossible not to outperform. Netted over $800k in return on investment, since using a coach 2years and counting.

As a home grown trader.. i always assumed this was happening. I would watch these large inflows and outflows. Specially at open and close. Like the day traders run for the door, stock drops dramatically.. then institutions buy them all up
From my experience, there is no right or wrong strategy, I have watched people make money with patterns, indicators, algorithmic trading, supply and demand, support and resistance, all these successful traders, have one thing in common, they found an edge, confluence here is the key.
This video sums everything up perfectly as I always wondered what really informs the price or value of stocks. This behaviour is typical of the monetarist view regarding market prices in that they will "naturally" adjust and the belief that government intervention is "undesirable". Excellent video.

Hey Bernd great video as someone who bought into the AMC hype in 2021 definitely seen it first hand as these hedge funds definitely can move a stock based on retails emotion and retail has no control even when banned together on social media will still never win. Big money always wins were just there to pick up the crumbs.

I have a sticky note on one of my monitors, ‘Inducement is always the wrong direction.’ I watch for sticks making huge drops on longer time frame uptrends with huge volume. Then wait for to curl up and retest the low. The stop out is the low low and never use a stop order for algorithms to grab.
Great point here on tagging your out for them to see... I stopped putting in stop orders, unless I have to walk away from a the screen... and like magic, I improved my win rate. Then i tried trailing stop loss... market makers treat those like a fishing net... Then know exactly how much money to dump into the water once they have enough little fishies dragging behind them with stop loss markers that travel with the stock... Instead I started using alerts when I was nearing a TP or nearing a SL so that if I was on another chart, I could get their quickly.

Genius! I knew it all, but got caught up due to overwhelming emotions while your position collapses together with your margin causing you stress… but it’s a lesson to learn.
If you watch positions on the bid and ask premarket in TOS using the price ladder and put a limit order for just one share a little above the bids but not meeting the ask you can often see the bids jump above yours instantly if it's not filled and will try to pull you in at a higher and higher price. It just shows you how automated the whole thing is now.
With social media they don’t even need as much capital to manipulate the market. There’s a certain multiplying factor they possess that didn’t exist before.

Well the fundamentals to what he means are earning reports and general news. So everything that you see in any economic calendar you can easily disregard because it’s useless. I don’t use any of that stuff 🤝👍
Don't day trade. Just buy and hold an index fund long term.
In summary, buy when they are buying. Sell when they are selling, there is no way to out compete them. Instead, we have to trade with them.

Genius! I knew it all, but got caught up due to overwhelming emotions while your position collapses together with your margin causing you stress… but it’s a lesson to learn.
If you watch positions on the bid and ask premarket in TOS using the price ladder and put a limit order for just one share a little above the bids but not meeting the ask you can often see the bids jump above yours instantly if it's not filled and will try to pull you in at a higher and higher price. It just shows you how automated the whole thing is now.

Tom Lee told us to buy small caps. Then Tom sold small caps to us. When we had small caps they crashed 15%.
So what....they've rallied hundreds of percent after that mere 15% crash. Those who panic sold lost....
