- This is my trip to Russia in 2023. I was like you curious about how Moscow is currently is. In the west, we hear so much about how Russia is struggling, how Russians got cut out of many brands and product supply, how isolated people have become. So in this video, I’ll talk about my first hand impressions about Moscow and Russians. I won’t touch upon politics because it’s out of scope of my channel. I just want to talk about life.

I can imagine your mixed feelings that you must have had; first to get to your "old" home in a changed city, and then being confronted with the war. Russia is a large country, and they sustain themselves.
Maybe in some years they feel the effects of western union sanctioned them.
But in the end, so many lose of life will leave a big hole in any society.

I'm Jewish and people immediately have an opinion about me, thinking that I like and approve everything what happens in Israël but that's not true... I have HUGE mixed feelings. Nee, hoor. Mensen houden er rekening mee dat bepaalde opmerkingen een ander in problemen kunnen brengen. En, hoewel er anderen zijn die veel meer lijden, is het niet of moeilijk kunnen bezoeken van familie ook persoonlijk leed. Vanwege punt 1 van mijn opmerking concentreren mensen zich op het tweede punt.
The way I see it is that the former USSR has won the cold war many years after it collapsed. Why? Because what Yuri Bezmenov explained in the mid 80's on US TV.
Just listen what he had to say, and look at what is going on in the western world.

We have problems that the Visegrad countries don't have.
It's sad to see another video by another Russian who says "we may never know the truth." Whatever the faults of the US and us Americans, and we have many, we do face and admit what we and our government have done. I notice a lot of Russians vloggers are a whole other category of denial and refuting any responsibility or even acknowledgment. Yes, don't talk about it to protect yourself, your family and friends. I get that. But the "we may never know the truth"? SMH
