Just returned from our first ever cruise/sea cation with friends from Southampton / Belfast / Portland, absolutely wonderful we could not fault anything ,Stateroom with balcony ,Food 5 star we cannot wait to book again . All staff could not do enough for us . Princess cruises have got it right .
I usually don't like to watch videos like this before getting on a certain ship, but our Regal cruise for next April was just cancelled, so this is as close as I'm going to get to her!
A well-informed video, I am going on my first Princess cruise in two weeks' time with my husband, looking forward to it. We usually go with Royal Caribbean.
Riiight.... I should be packing at this very moment - leaving Ft. Lauderdale on the RP in less than 72 hours, and yet, here I am! Very excited. 20-day cruise ending in St Petersburg, Russia. I feel a good time comin' on!
I’m sailing on the Regal on1/21, so this video was perfect for me!! I’ve cruised on the Royal 2 times, but this will be my first time on the Regal!! She’s a beautiful ship!! Thanks for this video tour!! I’m so excited!!
Taking Regal Princess on 3/22, it's our 1st cruise on Princess. Our last cruise was on HA Eurodam and really enjoyed it. It will be our 50th anniversary and we are looking forward to the cruise. Your video persuaded me to give Princess a try.
Thank you for the detailed video. You answered so many questions that I had about the ship. Great video and that showed so much detail while panning slowly. Thank You !
Good vid, have sailed on Royal around GB couple of years ago and now we sail Regal in March 2019 Eastern Carib. Looking forward to it, hope the elevators are better than Royals, they would skip floors and we would be waiting an age for one. Hope that is sorted. This will be our 24th Princess cruise.
You are an evil evil man! I thought this ship wasn't that special, but now you have gotten me very excited for the 7th of April 2019... It seems like I will have to get a few prepaid packages as there will be a few things to check out.
I'm thinking of booking a cruise on the Regal in March my son and I have been on numerous cruises but never with Princess. My only question is do the kids enjoy the kids club? He's 9 and makes friends easy and loves everyone and knows no stranger. We will be bringing my cousin along. This will be her first cruise. It's a 7 day, leaving on the 15th of March. Thanks any advice would be great.
Hi April thanks for watching. My kids are 6 & 9 and really enjoy the clubs. My recommendation is to attend the open house on the first day so that the kids already have an idea of what the space is like, meet their counselors and other kids in their club. It's also a good idea to review the following days planner for the club (located in your room each evening) and highlight some of the activities the kids are interested in. We never just drop off the kids at random times, we typically plan around what activities they want to participate in. We'll sign them in and out more than once during a day, so that we can have meals and do family stuff together as well. If you are planning to cruise during Spring Break timeframe, there will be more kids onboard compared to typical Princess cruises. Hope this helps!
The children's centre staff are excellent in the care and safety of the children even during a crisis. See UA-cam video "Crown Princess incident 2 Shockwaves" the children's club to see how disaster was averted.
Hi, great video thank you ! We are on Regal in a couple of weeks, do you know how gluten free guests are catered for ? E.g do they do gluten free pizza, burgers etc ? Thanks.
Hi Denise, thanks for watching. They do make accommodations for guests with special dietary needs, First thing is to make sure it is noted on your reservation, that will assist at the main dining room. I might also suggest to look into booking the specially restaurants for dinner, as these smaller venues are more equipped to handle custom requests on the fly..
Hi Alfred, thanks for watching. Other than Lido Buffet, Main Dining Rooms, Alfredo's Pizzeria, and the poolside pizza and grill, the other dining venues are at an extra cost, like sushi, Italian, steakhouse etc.
Hi Amanda, thanks for watching. There is a variety of different foods in the main dining room and buffet daily. There's also the steakhouse and Italian specialty restaurants available.
Hi farmboy Boonstoppel, thanks for watching. Since most venues and services are included, I'll provide you which are not. Extra cost areas include Lotus Spa (Deck 5), Sabatini's Trattoria (Deck 5), Crown Grill (Deck 7), The Sanctuary (Deck 17). Additionally, all shops, fitness classes and beverages from bars are extra.
Hi Ben, thanks for watching. Yes, there are formal nights (typically two on a 7 night cruise). While some wear tuxedos, you'll find most men wear a jacket & tie. Many keep it simple these days. Do what makes you happy. Some like to get really dressed up and that's fine.
Hi Mike Mike, I don't think one is necessarily better than the other. I've had great cruises on both cruise lines. I would suggest to look at all of the factors like itinerary, travel dates, included offers, pricing and then try to compare what features each ship offers and make a decision from there.
Everyone has different choices. Cunard is far too formal for me. I would try a short cruise though, but as they only have 3 ships, itineraries are more limited than Princess with about 19 ships. Plus Cunard ships are very large. I usually go with whoever is doing the itinerary that I want on the date that I want.
Hi Billy, thanks for watching. On our ship tours, we try to show as much of the cruise ships as possible so that new cruisers or those planning to cruise on a specific ship can have an idea of what to expect. We've asked about filming behind the scenes and for the most part, cruise lines have requested that we only take photographs during those tours.
Why even mention Prego Pizza by the pool when this ship is one of only 4 Princess ships that has the fantastic Alfredo’s Pizza, so much better than 5e pool side one. It is like a food for a fee restaurant but free.
Hi Chris, thanks for watching. I agree that Alfredo's is amazing. We try to be thorough, so we include as much of the ship and its features as possible.
Hi Richard, thanks for watching and your comments. I personally don't shop onboard cruise ships, but for some that feel the need (which are many), there are a lot of opportunities to do so.
I sail on her 11 June 2022 - can't wait. 21 days of pure bliss.
Hi Leslie, thanks for watching. I hope you have a wonderful cruise on Regal Princess.

Hi Melody, Regal Princess is a very nice ship. I think May of next year will be a Go!
I'll be aboard at the end of April '22 for a graduation trip. It will be my first time out of the States. I can hardly wait.
I usually don't like to watch videos like this before getting on a certain ship, but our Regal cruise for next April was just cancelled, so this is as close as I'm going to get to her!
Hi Jen, thanks for watching. Sorry for the cancelation, been there (7 times now). Hope the video brought you some enjoyment.
Regal Princes, and Majestic Princes have two of the most beautiful Atria I have ever seen. I can't wait to get on board them.

Hi Stephen, thanks for watching. I don't recall any unusually long waits for the elevators onboard Regal Princess.
Wow this looks so much different then the other Princess ships but the library sure is small.
Hi Susan, thanks for watching. The regal class ships were quite an evolution in Princess Cruise ship design.
You are an evil evil man! I thought this ship wasn't that special, but now you have gotten me very excited for the 7th of April 2019...
It seems like I will have to get a few prepaid packages as there will be a few things to check out.
Hi CMDR Sweeper, thanks for watching. Sorry that the ship is better than you thought! :-) Have a great cruise.
Great job
Hi Salvatore, thanks for watching.
I'm gonna say something. I had the best pizza of my life at Alfredo's.
Hi Totally Aidan, thanks for watching. The pizza is fantastic at Alfredo's and the fact that it is included in the price of the cruise is amazing.
We are going to try in Oct
We were that place few years ago
Hi gogodog, thanks for watching.
Thanks. Sailing on the Regal - 24/2/19
Hi Recce sixty, thanks for watching. Have a great cruise on Regal Princess!
I´m going on this ship in July.

How can y tell what prices are on the additional cost shops and foods in adavance prior to cruising example sushi restaurants drinks thanks
Hi Alfred, thanks for watching. Other than Lido Buffet, Main Dining Rooms, Alfredo's Pizzeria, and the poolside pizza and grill, the other dining venues are at an extra cost, like sushi, Italian, steakhouse etc.
What kind of food do they serve on that ship
Hi Amanda, thanks for watching. There is a variety of different foods in the main dining room and buffet daily. There's also the steakhouse and Italian specialty restaurants available.
Is there a fee for the Ocean Terrace restaurant?
What places are free to go in and activities on the boat

Do they have formal dining evenings where you need a tuxedo? Great video thanks.

@@TalkingCruise great thanks
Is the casino smoke free ?
Hi Anatasia, thanks for watching. There are non-smoking sections of the casino.
I've been there before
Hi Coley, thanks for watching.
did they add center stairs that go past the Piazza yet? That was a MAJOR drawback of the Royal and Regal
Hi David, thanks for watching. When Regal Princess was in dry dock last year they did extend the mid ship stairs to at least deck 15 or 16.
What music do you use?
Hi Rocco, thanks for watching. We license our music from several sources.
Is princess better than celebrity
Hi Mike Mike, I don't think one is necessarily better than the other. I've had great cruises on both cruise lines. 🤞👊👌
Hi Yoke Wouters, thanks for watching.
Hi do you have spine on the bout??????
No sorry UK only 🙈
amazing , but Queen Mary 2 is much better .
Hi MarlonMax, thanks for watching. I would have to agree with you.

is corona virus on this ship
Hi Dean, thanks for watching. I have not seen or heard any issues with Regal Princess.
I was on the regal
Hi AwesomeHusky 666, thanks for watching. Did you enjoy your cruise on Regal Princess?
Talking Cruise Yes it was the best one so far and I loved the custom horn.
Going on the ship in 3 weeks
Tim Barry nice
Hi Tim, thanks for watching. Have a wonderful cruise on Regal Princess.
I thought when he said ship tour he would show the behind the scenes tour that Princess does, not a tour of public area.
Hi Billy, thanks for watching. @@TalkingCruise - ok, thanks, but Alfredos was never mentioned.
Hi Chris, Alfredo's is mentioned at the 4:56 mark.
@@TalkingCruise I apologize, thank you.
no apologies needed, glad we share the love of the great pizza at Alfredo's. 😀
Great shopping on a cruise ship ha ha ha total rip offs except the booze and smokes
Hi Richard, thanks for watching and your comments. I personally don't shop onboard cruise ships, but for some that feel the need (which are many), there are a lot of opportunities to do so.
