Never been on a cruise but my wife and I have been talking about doing it and the Bliss looks good I need some more information on prices and we would be traveling with another couple.
Took the Panama Canal cruise on the Bliss. Was really not impressed. To start off one thing not mentioned while on the cruise is cost, cost cost. The specialty diners are now cost per item not one charge. We had commentary meals at Cagney's and the Italian. Cagney's with the free meal you get one salad, one outré and one dessert, if you wanted a different steak it was 5 dollars more, or wanted a shrimp cocktail 5 dollars more or extra dessert 5 dollars more. The Italian restrauant was a nice place, however I wanted spaghetti and meat balls, well there is not meat at all, no meat sauce, no meat balls, everything was either pasta or seafood. I asked the supervisor why no meat, she said it's the American way, excuses me American way!!!! Then the Margarita buffet was cost too, 19 bucks for a hamburger, rarely saw people in there, in the morning though they have a limited breakfast buffet it was good, but the hours wee never the same. Also it's in the aft end of the ship and the only place to get coffee in the morning and after they serve the breakfast they empty the coffee pots, so if you want coffee you have go to the middle of the ship at the 24 hours restruant, which for us being up in age was a long walk. We are smokers first off no cigarette smoking in the cigar bar, there is smoking area at the casino but since it's enclosed it's closed while in port or other times, so the only place to relax with a smoke was just outside the H20 bar aft, limited seating and at times very windy or cold. No coffee or anything in the morning. The ship has only two banks of elevators, one aft one forward, we were just outside the aft elevator however everything we wanted to do from eating or events was way forward, again a very long walk. Checking out things to buy in the shops, well, you would need a loan from BofA to buy most things , from a 5 dollar small candy bar, to a Tshirt for 30 bucks. They had a sale one day, small wood key change, 7 dollars on sale...……..Starbucks was good, prices not bad but rarely anyone in there so we were there allot since they have usb ports to charge you stuff. Going thru the new canal was very disappointing, no more mules they hook on to tugs to take you thru, rather like the old cancel. Leaving the ship we're platinum members and were suppose to have priority disembarkation, nobody could help us, they were confused, so took us over an hour to get off the ship then another 30 mins to find our luggage since they had one bag misplaced. We'll not back to Norwegian expressly the Bliss if they continue to try and get every last drop of money out of you. Most of the crew were nice though.

The cruise to experience! We (family) took the Alaskan cruise last July 2019 and occupied the Haven 101. It was our cruise of a lifetime! We had full view of the expected beauty during the trip (you name it, we had it 😉 ). We took abundant memory pictures with us, Alaskan experience and hoping to save for our next cruise. Great crew and awesome Haven amenities 👍x10. #gratefulasalways👏🥰

Hi Branden, thanks for watching. The last NCL ships, Escape, Joy, Bliss and Encore, are all Breakaway Plus class and are quite similar in layout, with exception of the race track and outdoor laser tag not offered on Escape.
I've never been on Norwigian but there seems to be a lot of very interesting things on this ship, I was surprised by the malting whiskey bar as a whiskey lovers I would be curious to know the selection available on board. A negative note in my opinion are the laser tag arena positioned outside, in my opinion a waste of external space. A great video as always.
Hi Samuele, in general these latest ships from Norwegian are quite crowded on the upper decks. The race track and laser tag take up a huge amount of space.
When you showed the staterooms, first off I am so used to staying in Hotels in Vegas where the room are well over 500 Square feet in size, no matter which one of these rooms you pick, since I have never cruised before, probably for the first night or so, I would feel really cramped in one of these rooms......
Hi Andrew, thanks for watching. You'd need to book a suite and likely one of the higher end suites on most cruise ships to be about the size of a Vegas hotel room. You'd be amazed how efficient the use of space can be on cruise ships, you still have all the necessities and comfort even in the smaller staterooms.
Question : So ($) means there's an extra charge at this location? And I didn't see this for the arcade, does that mean you don't have to feed them quarters?
On each day, is the menu the same for all three dining rooms (Manhattten, Savor, and the Taste)?Are the dining rooms "first come, first serve" or "reservations required"?

Can I bring my straightener iron from the US (uses the US port) to the cruise? Is the outlet different? Do I need an adaption? I’m taking the Europe cruise btw
Sailed on the Bliss in March of 2019, A fabulous ship with so many amenities. Would I cruise with that ship again? I'd say no. I think the ship is too big, too crowded. It's practically a small city. If you want to book any of the extra features you better do it before you board ship. Frankly, I personally would rather book with a nice smaller ship

Talking Cruise heck yea it was my favorite cruise out of all the cruises I went to there were so many things to do like the teenager lounge and the pool was great too and your buffet and restaurant are so good I hope I can go again next year hope you have more guests that enjoyed it like me! El agente vendedor de esta compania Raymon Marin en Miami, informo que no se necesitaba la visa de Canada, por que solo estabamos 3 horas en el puerto de Victoria para que no invirtieramos usd $185 en sacar dicha visa. El dia del embarque sin consideracion alguna devolvieron 18 pasajeros de diferentes nacionalidades, con el argumento de que si se necesitaba la visa, a pesar de que a todos los viajeros nos habian dicho que no se necesitaba. Que esto sirva de alerta para no confiar en esta compania, que solo les interesa vender y despues simplemente te dicen lo "sentimos, no puedes embarcar".

I think people are going to need to address their own risk factors and what they are comfortable with and make that personal decision when cruises or general travel open back up.
Just came back and it was awful the ship is huge you see everything from far away . super filled jam packed with people everywhere.😯 could not get seating . Lines at buffet. the crew was awful just unfriendly never use NCL for Alaska 🤨
Nous avons fais une croisiere sur le Bliss il y a 15 jours , tres décus du bateau , c'était une croisiere de 14 jours .Le menu tres répétitif pratiquement toujours la meme chose , les spectacles médiocres sauf pour Les Beatles qui valaient la peine d'etre vu , J'ai fais 14 croisieres avant Le Bliss donc j'ai pu comparé la croisiere. Dommage car c'est un beau bateau mais il demande des corrections importantes. J'ai été sur le bateau du 19 janvier au 2 février 2020 nous étions 4 couples et ils partagent tous mon opinion .

Large part of the ship is built with up-selling in thought. Not much is included in your standard cruise fare onboard the Norwegian Bliss

Hola, soy un comprador de este crucero para viajar a Alaska en barco que partia de Seattle el dia 30 de abril de 2022. El agente vendedor de esta compania Raymon Marin en Miami, informo que no se necesitaba la visa de Canada, por que solo estabamos 3 horas en el puerto de Victoria para que no invirtieramos usd $185 en sacar dicha visa. El dia del embarque sin consideracion alguna devolvieron 18 pasajeros de diferentes nacionalidades, con el argumento de que si se necesitaba la visa, a pesar de que a todos los viajeros nos habian dicho que no se necesitaba. Que esto sirva de alerta para no confiar en esta compania, que solo les interesa vender y despues simplemente te dicen lo "sentimos, no puedes embarcar".

Hi lazinskit93, thanks for watching. I don't think anyone can answer that definitively at this time. "Safe" travel with only minimal risks to all people from every age group might be a while. I think people are going to need to address their own risk factors and what they are comfortable with and make that personal decision when cruises or general travel open back up.

Just came back and it was awful the ship is huge you see everything from far away . super filled jam packed with people everywhere.😯 could not get seating . Lines at buffet. the crew was awful just unfriendly never use NCL for Alaska 🤨

Nous avons fais une croisiere sur le Bliss il y a 15 jours , tres décus du bateau , c'était une croisiere de 14 jours .Le menu tres répétitif pratiquement toujours la meme chose , les spectacles médiocres sauf pour Les Beatles qui valaient la peine d'etre vu , J'ai fais 14 croisieres avant Le Bliss donc j'ai pu comparé la croisiere. Dommage car c'est un beau bateau mais il demande des corrections importantes. J'ai été sur le bateau du 19 janvier au 2 février 2020 nous étions 4 couples et ils partagent tous mon opinion .

How's the food on Bliss?
Hi Scott, thanks for watching. Food quality is generally good, however, most of the dining venues are an extra charge. The only included ones are the three main dining rooms, The Local Pub and Garden Cafe.
