Great overview. You had me sold enough to try it out! But lack of handwriting recognition is an unfortunate omission. I love being able to search my handwritten notes in the Notes and GoodNotes apps.
I really wish they had left-right swiping. I don't like the vertical scroll xO other than that, this feels like a great Goodnotes replacement since I'm hard boycotting them!
@@liasharma3951 lots of reasons but primarily because of how scummy their practices are. With 5, they had a lifetime purchase offer that stated free updates forever. Then when 6 came out, they charged existing customers 30$ for the update, only giving discounts after the horrible launch that day. I know, because I had been one of the first to update and there was no option to get a discount. Not only that, but the discount amount was variant based on where you lived, with China getting a better discount. Now, if this was a new app I wouldn’t have a problem with them charging whatever they wanted. But they made it to where its an overwrite in the app store so they could ride off of GN5 reviews to stay #1 and said they were not continuing updates for 5, which is essentially forcing people to switch. They also mocked Notability for going subscription but this update now locks features (albeit mostly useless ones) behind a subscription paywall. Very hypocritical. They also blocked and removed negative feedback to make it appear to be a well-received product when it was absolutely not, 99% of comments were expressing upset; this further makes it scummier that they are using old reviews for what is supposedly from them a new app to make it appear to be a good one. If they want to use those reviews they need to make it a free update for prior users because it’s an update. If it’s a new app, they need to make a new listing because its deceptive practice to use reviews of a different product to pump it up
Kindly in future videos , share the note taking apps which has infinite canvas. There are not much videos in youtube on that. We have FREEFORM for apple as infinite canvas but the writing experience is not satisfactory. Those apps which are beautiful to write (goodnotes, notability etc ) dont have infinite canvas 😢.
Is there a way to take notes on a canvas and reference a downloaded pdf sections? For example On my note canvas , I put a phase from chapter 12 section 3 of a book I downloaded. Can I place a hyperlink next to my note that when I press it , it goes directly to the book chapter and section ?
I am trying tidy app but, it seems to unlock all rather than just one sticker at a time. Can we unlock just one sticker so the other’s aren’t moving as well?
Here's one of the problems I see it. I have an ipad mini, and ipad 10, and an iphone. I don't know if it's available on the iphone. BUT I would want to use it on both my devices so I would have to by two subscriptions. My wife has a similar setup. So now we're looking at 4X for each subscription. That's a shame because it is great software. Subscriptions are really complicated.
Cyberry can be used in any app that allows PDF import, so yes. It can be used in this app (I show clips of Cyberry in Notewise in this video), in GoodNotes, in Notability, in a ton of different apps.

Not incredibly priced at all. To get full use you have to subscribe to their cloud. What no one considers is that everyone pretty much wants you to subscribe monthly or yearly. These costs become substantial and inhibitive. These days I'm more concerned with how I'm to pay my rent and buy healthy food. I've found the app to be a large learning curve and so far I haven't found a way to send it to my printer. Overall so far I've found Samsung Notes to be easier to use and in some areas better. If they were to enable the use of Google Drive, or even Docs it would make the one-off price for the app itself reasonable.

Check out liquid text. It’s pretty awesome and has unlimited canvas
Not sure how vast the writing experience is but Excalidraw is a web based one with infinite canvas.
Try Concepts and Touchnotes. Both require subscriptions for full features though.
