I'm 65, I waited many years to hear LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE ROLLING STONES well it finally happened in phila 2019. It was rock and roll at its finest the biggest dance party I want to say in the world because that's what the the rolling stones give to us oh and this was Jagger singing until the very end in the rain, I'm not not over the excitement of that night but with that RIP Charlie a thumbs up for Steve Jordon and a Thank you to dnewton for the memories with the great videos.
I am also 70. In fact, I celebrated my birthday with the Stones in Pittsburgh...right on Oct. 4th. It was a concert of a lifetime, and a birthday that I will never forget. What a blessing that they are still around!
To me, Satisfaction is the greatest rock& roll song ever written! It is angry, punk, demanding, rebellious, passionate, hungry……pounding rhythm, bass, drums…..everything rock was meant to be.
They're keeping me young. I'm 65, still dancing and rocking to the Stones and in love with a 32 year old. I love the Stones!!! P.S --- Paul McCartney is so jealous.
Think about the musicians that are popular now. Can anyone name a single one that will still be playing stadiums in their mid to late 70s not only because of nostalgia, but because their catalog is so strong?
Was my first time seeing them in Pittsburgh a week ago, such an undescrible feeling! I couldn’t help but cried at the end! And I think “Gimme Shelter” was the highest point! Ms.Sasha is breathtaking! I have so much gratitude for these fellas! And Charlie, hope you’re watching this tour from up there 🧡🙏🏻✨
I was there.....they ROCKED....probably 1 of the best concerts I've ever seen or heard......period.....I got to see the Icons...gimme shelter, sympathy for the devil, tumbling dice, paint it black, jumping jack flash and so much more.....it was awesome.....I hope I can see them again in Atlanta....this will probably be their last tour
In case you don’t know Steve Jordan.. he’s one of the world’s greatest drummers and Charlie loved him.. here he is on Letterman in 1983 with Sly Check out 12:00 ua-cam.com/video/q6tckHv2QhU/v-deo.html
I like Steve Jordan too but he is no Charlie Watts! As far as reinvigorating them, saw them at advanced ages in the 2015 and 2019 tours and they kicked ass then too. They just are just that legendary !
@Richie Kew you couldn't have said it any better I didn't want to admit it but I totally agree with you and yes Steve Jordon has brought a different side out of the band.
Said no-one ever. Apparently you're just trolling or don't know a thing about this band. Do you not see and hear them in playing? Although it's very unlikely that you've been to a show in on my this run, or ever . It's over when they say it is! 😝
I miss him lookung out and listening. Steve van Zand said he quit the band because The Boss was not listening anymore. I miss C Watts. Nothing like him.
i was 18 when i bought my 1981 tour shirt in new orleans and i wore it last night to the show in Nashville. 40 years went by and the shirt is kinda ragged out, faded you know with a few holes and tears, so i buy a new one at the 2021 tour last night. i guess ill have to buy another one when the tour comes back around in 2061!
7:37 HE SAYS YES YES. THIS WAS MY FIRST STONES SHOW AND ITS UNEXPLAINABLE HOW SPIRITUAL AND JUST SOMETHING MORE THAN MUSIC. ANYWAY HE SAID YAZ YAZ ALL NIGHT LONG AND THOSE WHER SOME OF MY FAV MOMENTS EVER. LOVE TO ALL!!!

Too bad they didn't have Merry Clayton do the vocals again. I heard she's still singing despite the fact that she lost both of her legs in an accident years ago. She was phenomenal and made this song her legacy. RIP Charlie
Keith and Ron play to each other near the drummer. Mick is out on his own. He does sing with the girl singer, who is really good. Reminds me of Tina Turner, belts it out 🎶
These guys are younger than many teenagers amnd. 20 year. olds that sit around getting high and fat. You are as young or old as your attitude towards life..also instsist in finding something that you love to do will add years to your life...look how happy Mic is....he is doing 2 hours of intense aerobics and when it's time to leave, he doesn't wanyt yo leave....what fo you day about that?
God Bless you Charlie Watts Steve Jordan's great but the Stones are over for this longtime fan... It's embarassing to watch I have my memories to cherish so... Everybody who still gets off hearing Satisfaction live for the millionth time...fine with me but I'm done
The stones are amazing and they put on an amazing performance 🎉🎉. 60yrs is proof of their experience in the music 🎶 🎵 world 🌎
THE GREATEST ROCK N ROLL BAND lN THE WORLD!!! I lOVE Y'all JACKIE SHOCKNEY NASHVILLE TENN ALLWAYS SO FRESH! , KEEP ROCKING ROLLING STONES!!!
Satisfaction. First heard when I was 14. I’m now 70. The endurance of most of their catalog is amazing.
This was incredible for 1965.1969, 1981 and now! The Rolling Stones are the Tyson Fury of the world.

Wonderful night. Every chance I can get to see them is a blessing. History of R & R right in front of us.
Think about the musicians that are popular now. Can anyone name a single one that will still be playing stadiums in their mid to late 70s not only because of nostalgia, but because their catalog is so strong?
Not one
No one, no way.
The only other one I can think of would be Paul McCartney
after Metallica, AC/DC & The Foo's end, which likely won't be in thier 70's, I'd say no.
Was my first time seeing them in Pittsburgh a week ago, such an undescrible feeling! I couldn’t help but cried at the end! And I think “Gimme Shelter” was the highest point! Ms.Sasha is breathtaking! Incredible Rolling Stones loved them for 58 years !
New drummer is so chill and so cool. Charlie was a legend, but new drummer carries on his legacy.
In case you don’t know Steve Jordan.. he’s one of the world’s greatest drummers and Charlie loved him.. here he is on Letterman in 1983 with Sly Check out 12:00 ua-cam.com/video/q6tckHv2QhU/v-deo.html
STEVE JORDAN GAVE THE STONES À BOOST THEY WERE TOO LOCKED IN THEIR ROUTINE . BUT OF COURSE WE 'LL NEVER FORGET CHARLIE !!
Better drummer but Charlie was way cooler...RIP Charlie...Charlie Watts🙏
I like Steve Jordan too but he is no Charlie Watts! As far as reinvigorating them, saw them at advanced ages in the 2015 and 2019 tours and they kicked ass then too. They just are just that legendary !
I thought this tour might be a bit depressing but it’s the best I’ve seen them in years!
@Richie Kew you couldn't have said it any better I didn't want to admit it but I totally agree with you and yes Steve Jordon has brought a different side out of the band.
Yes depressing. I fear they will end up like a medium jazz band.
Anyone can say what he wants- but Steve does a GREAT Job here!!! I call it "Charlie orientated drumming without copying..."
Totally agree. Obviously love Charlie, but Steve has reinvigorated them.
Said no-one ever. Apparently you're just trolling or don't know a thing about this band. Do you not see and hear them in playing? Although it's very unlikely that you've been to a show in on my this run, or ever . It's over when they say it is! 😝

Looks like Nashville was an amazing show
Micky you 're really the very best vocal singer in the world and the band is also so fabulous...
Nashville got a great show, last night. The intro gave me chills. Bring on Detroit!
i was 18 when i bought my 1981 tour shirt in new orleans and i wore it last night to the show in Nashville. 40 years went by and the shirt is kinda ragged out, faded you know with a few holes and tears, so i buy a new one at the 2021 tour last night. i guess ill have to buy another one when the tour comes back around in 2061!
What a show! Just as good as the first time I saw the Stones in 1981!
Great but not as good as 72-73 tour with Mick Taylor, suppose you wasn't born.
@@Methilde I saw them in 1963 !……and got their autographs. Brian Jones at his best. Charlie never changed.

For Gimmie Shelter- Lisa Fisher.
so good,
great sound
Impossible to forget. The trademark of Gimme Shelter is the Merry Clayton's voice in the backing vocal of the song.🤟🇧🇷
And Lisa Fisher on stage.
@@Methilde Yep
Great job, dnewton98, I think I was able to piece together the whole show. Righteous and well done.
KEITH Gitarre GREAT 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
They all still look lost without Charlie, Mick use to sing with Keith more. RIP Charlie Watts🥁
Mick is twice her age and his voice is so strong.
lol.The 9 negatives are traitor trump voters...mad at the world.
Too bad they didn't have Merry Clayton do the vocals again. I heard she's still singing despite the fact that she lost both of her legs in an accident years ago. She was phenomenal and made this song her legacy. RIP Charlie
Is that true. She lost her legs? Prayers I didnt know.
I miss Lisa Fischer's powerful voice!

Das Beste kommt meistens zum Schluß. So ist auch bei den Stones.
