    Prime said it a while back it's doesn't matter how many stars you have behind your name. You have to put in that work. Your reputation carries weight with college coaches and recruiters. It's no different than an employer calling the references on your resume. I wish that young man the best.

    • @GDSportsNetwork
      @GDSportsNetwork  22 дні тому +3

      EXACTLY!! I tell my 15 yr old son all the time that what you do now is building your resume. You can either have positive references or people that will question your character (opinions formed are up to you). Cormani blew his time there and then doubled down on his exit. Smh
      I pray he sees the light.

    Yall sound crazy as hell how is coach Prime trying to black ball him that boy f’ed himself up one by leaving 2 is by not showing up to training or showing up meetings not studying film and smoking and that’s against NCAA rules. Yall sound so stupid sayin that. Coach prime has not said nothing negative about him at all that boy messed himself now yall want to feel bad for his bad judgement and not holding himself accountable for his own actions. He has screwed him self

      🤣. I said the minute I saw his initial statement that he messed up. He did not think Coach Prime. That was a tacky move. Even the coaches that don't like Coach Prime know how athletes act when they're not acting right. They've all experienced them in their past. So Prime does not have to blackball him. He did a good job of doing that himself as I stated in an earlier video.
      You hit the nail on the head! Accountability is lacking. I pray he gets it together because if not that lack of accountability will become dangerous later in life. Especially coming from someone who's been used to getting everything they want.

      You running with the Keyshawn Johnson spin about smoking weed… Everything you just stated is minor offences that many freshman’s commit . You the one that sound crazy… That’s in no way a justification for him being black balled, when there are second chance athletes far less talented then him, that committed actual crime getting good offers.. He had to do something worse than that lil bs you just stated..

    • @GDSportsNetwork

      @@ChildrenoftheAncient unfortunately the statement you made is true. So since you know there must be more than that it let's you KNOW there's more than that. You feel me? Also the little offenses freshmen commit are often due to the transition to college. If you stack too many on top of each other and then you're not open to the correction your coach provides it could lead to this.

      @@ChildrenoftheAncient I am not sure where this blackballed narrative came from but it’s stupid as hell! No one told Cormani to jump in the portal! Cormani did that himself. The other stuff, was not minor! We have heard about the lack of preparation, missing team meetings and practices, not knowing your assignments on the field, not being in shape! Coach Mathis said in a presser that Cormani had to run and get back into shape, the next thing we hear Cormani hit the portal! Cormani has to be accountable for his own actions. Anything less than that means that he does not care about the game or himself! So no, the standard is the standard. You can meet it or you can do nothing! Unfortunately Cormani. Decided that he was not going to do anything!

      I love it! Someone that holds someone accountable! I tell my 15 yr old son all the time that you have every right to live your life how you see fit. Only thing is once how you see fit isn't in line with how I see fit I have ZERO obligation to reward bad behavior. It appears Cormani wanted to be treated like THE FIRST 5 STAR RECRUIT recruited to Colorado. Coach Prime said NO. You're going to be treated like everyone else who isn't putting in the work.

    Hes out of the Power-5. He'll probably go to a real good FCS team for a season or two and then try to work his way back up. All is not lost, but he just needs a chance to show change and prove he's better than what is being said.

    I don’t think so - and, I really hope that he hasn’t. Cormani is a talented football player - but an immature kid. He made a mistake - a serious mistake - by not taking advantage of his opportunity at Colorado. But this shouldn’t define him for the rest of his life. I don’t think any of the major programs will offer him. But I think a lower level FBS program will pick him up at some point. At least I hope so!

    • @GDSportsNetwork
      @GDSportsNetwork  22 дні тому +2

      I pray it isn't. He's talented at a high school level. He needs to be coached up and put in right positions to defend these elite D1 receivers. Hopefully he humbles himself through this process and gets help he needs.

    I bet if he had better practice and game tape he would be on someone’s team. Bottom line is the orange worth the squeeze? Five star HD player means nothing to a college player. So at the end he is the reason why he is I. This situation

    • @GDSportsNetwork
      @GDSportsNetwork  12 днів тому +1

      I agree. I do think with proper guidance he COULD be a high level player. That being said the "COULD have been cemetery" is full of guys like him that chose to buck the system. For every guy that goes pro there's 100k that doesn't. All things equal you're going to side with the kid that doesn't cause you a headache. He's definitely THE reason (if not the only reason) he's in this situation. Accountability seems like it no longer exist.

I feel bad for Cormani being used, he needs better people advising him.

      @@edbradley22trust me when I say I believe that he does. What I'm saying is he is not influencing all power 5 Coaches. There are some coaches out there who would take anyone they can off his team of value just to spite him. So though he has a heavy influence he also has a lot of haters.
      I said when Cormani first put out his video that he was making a mistake. You should never leave any program talking like that especially not a program that is so transparent as Colorado. We get to see a lot more at Colorado than we do the average team. Many people say Prime has favorites. He was one of them. He blew his opportunity.
