If the bullies actually paid attention, they said Landen was getting angry at them and started the fight, but they should know that Landen barely shows emotions unless in a stressful situation. So Landen would have little reason to get angry at them before the fight even happened.. idk if any of that made sense.

Theory: landen is a supernatural being and his powers are effected by emotions, landen or his mom or dad knew this so his emotions were purposely suppressed for the time being Another theory: landen saw his parents murdered supernatural or not so he unknowingly suppressed his emotions Last theory: landen is a rare powerful hybrid but in the supernatural world he could be or was hunted for his power, so inorder for landen to be safe from these people they temporally blocked his powers so he could not be tracked down. Unfortunately the person who suppressed his powers was either killed during the process or killed after. part of this is landen might be from this realm or not. if landen was not from this realm then he was saved from someone pushing him into a portal.
