It's sad because in competitive you can't have fun killstreaks like these because there's always something closing on your position and ready to kill you after one pick or even before you can scope in. In casual you play too good and everyone thinks you're a cheater or your team is petty and doesn't want to win TOO easily. As a good sniper, it's like you can't play in either scenarios.
I've run into that Le Tibby guy before. I also made them so mad they decided to rage toggle. It was on a frontier game. He needs to go take a shower and go outside. It's the cheater mindset. "I cheat so everyone else also must cheat"

The reason why sniper and spy are so easy to kick is because both classes are broken as hell, which makes cheating/exploiting look very similar to a legitimately talented player. When the game first launched, things were even worse apparently and sniper was even easier to abuse when it came to quick scoping
No spy isn't broken yes sniper is fundamentally broken spy is the weakest class in the game sniper is one of the strongest as sniper has items for its counters and his only reliable counter is other snipers and there's no other long range class and the Jarate bush Wacker combo and most bots are snipers.

Sniper wasn't as bad when the game first came out because the standard of skill for fps games was lower. Competitive games weren't as serious, matchmaking wasn't really a thing, the average players aim wasn't as good. So the fact all it took was good aim to completely overpower every other class wasn't as much of an obvious problem because not very many people had good aim.
I think a lot of people want to claim sniper is op and I understand where that's coming from but the simple fact is that basic fundamentals of tf2 are more than capable of midigating even the best snipers aim. The pub mindset is one of being able to run out in the open all willynilly but thats not at all how skilled players play the game, they're constantly abusing corners, taking flank routes, rocket jumping, double jumping and so many other small fundamental skills that make hitting headshots far more difficult. Even if sniper were removed from the game you'd still want to do all those things because the same reason it midigates and weakens a snipers ability is the exact same for any other class. He's strong in pubs but that means nothing, any class in the right hands can dominate a pub the only difference is that snipers is the most apparent.
The classes with high skill ceilings are too op... When ever I see a tf2 clip/vid it made me remember spy side stabs, maps where sniper dominate and those thousand hour demoman...

The last 2 years I tried myself at sniper and failed miserably. Yesterday i just turned down my dpi and... like 90% headshots. Always thought to flick you need like 10k dpi :/
Personally, over the years I have played with all sensitivities ranging from 800dpi and 4 ingame, to 800dpi and 1 ingame. I find that I prefer the lower end of the spectrum. I have settled on 800dpi and 1.5 ingame, and have been using that for the past couple years now and I don't think I will ever need to change again

My friend once did an experiment with lmaobox on an alt. He would often get kicked for cheating when playing normally but when using lmaobox nobody would bat an eye.

The reason why sniper and spy are so easy to kick is because both classes are broken as hell, which makes cheating/exploiting look very similar to a legitimately talented player.
When the game first launched, things were even worse apparently and sniper was even easier to abuse when it came to quick scoping
No spy isn't broken yes sniper is fundamentally broken spy is the weakest class in the game sniper is one of the strongest as sniper has items for its counters and his only reliable counter is other snipers and there's no other long range class and the Jarate bush Wacker combo and most bots are snipers.
@PixelPurp Pyros backburner can barely even work half the time it would make spy unplayable and technically at that 180 point your hitting BEHIND them should head shots only work on foreHEAD since of the wording?

Sniper wasn't as bad when the game first came out because the standard of skill for fps games was lower. Competitive games weren't as serious, matchmaking wasn't really a thing, the average players aim wasn't as good. So the fact all it took was good aim to completely overpower every other class wasn't as much of an obvious problem because not very many people had good aim.
I think a lot of people want to claim sniper is op and I understand where that's coming from but the simple fact is that basic fundamentals of tf2 are more than capable of midigating even the best snipers aim. The pub mindset is one of being able to run out in the open all willynilly but thats not at all how skilled players play the game, they're constantly abusing corners, taking flank routes, rocket jumping, double jumping and so many other small fundamental skills that make hitting headshots far more difficult. Even if sniper were removed from the game you'd still want to do all those things because the same reason it midigates and weakens a snipers ability is the exact same for any other class. He's strong in pubs but that means nothing, any class in the right hands can dominate a pub the only difference is that snipers is the most apparent.

Every time there is a sus sniper you go and spy on them, test them, peek some walls he wasn't seeing and get close to him to see how he aims
The last 2 years I tried myself at sniper and failed miserably. Yesterday i just turned down my dpi and... like 90% headshots. Always thought to flick you need like 10k dpi :/
Personally, over the years I have played with all sensitivities ranging from 800dpi and 4 ingame, to 800dpi and 1 ingame. I find that I prefer the lower end of the spectrum. I have settled on 800dpi and 1.5 ingame, and have been using that for the past couple years now and I don't think I will ever need to change again
I just got a 12k DPI mouse and I use that, it's about finding what's good for the person not the game
