You're ain't just whistling Dixie the Walmart I worked at for almost 6 years as a cashier had the ceiling mount advances and they were on high volume if you think they are powerful out in the open you should hear them inside the store UGH
This is exactly why we don’t install in-suite initiating devices. Too much possibility for false alarms. Most apartments are protected by standalone smokes and sprinklers with devices in the halls tied to the main system.
Thanks for the video. Ive never been on a fire alarm scene like this before. I wouldve done the exact same thing. Grab my phone and run over there. I probably also be calling the fire dept right away just to be safe.
I live in a huge apartment building with fire suppression sprinklers and the fire alarm will go off 10 times a year because people are stupid. Each apartment has extremely loud smoke detectors too. It is always a false alarm.
@@porcupinepunch6893 the proper term for residential smoke detectors are smoke alarms because it’s a smoke detector with an integral horn and power supply. They are usually quite cheap and very reliable.
@@TopGamz smoke detectors don't have an alarm in them, therefore they should be silent. *Smoke alarms* on the other hand, do have a horn and should make noise.
I got something worse then this mechanical horns they can go over 100 db most are 75 or 85 db and they sound like a train horn or semi horn worse coding is continuous not so bad ones are code 4 4 code 4 4 4 4 code 3 and March time all these codings are old school. And I have seen white p2rs once most I see is 4903s and 9838s or wheelock zns or as or even the ceiling mounted version of the p2r
Damn those P2RK's on High Volume are POWERFUL

The dangerous high frequency of the alarm is disrupting your camera microphone.
And not surprisingly it was a spectral wet advance
Why didn't the workers from the apartment building not working today to reset the alarms
I think that was the one that I was hearing at my Nanas house
you really do love fire alarms..

What caused the fire alarm to go off
A Smoke Detector
Toward the end of the video the guy told him a girl in one of the apartments was cooking and the pot boiled over and set it off
@@GaryBeltzgotta be careful when cookin
Why was the fire alarm going off?
Somebody in the apartments accidently set off a smoke detector while cooking.
@@rcat110 Oh, I thought someone pulled the fire alarm.
