What a useful video. I just got this machine yesterday and I’m looking forward to trying it out. It’s only the 3rd sewing machine I’ve ever had and the first two were very basic so I’m excited about all the convenient features.
I'm not a quilter but l've bought the 5060 too to upgrade from a mechanical Janome 4400. Learnt on a Brother in the late 70s and after a gap of about 25. Absolutely love my 5060 it's not given me any probs 💜
I’ve had Janome machines for 30 years and have loved them. I still have one that I took to my dad’s house. It’s quite similar to this one. You’re getting used to the presser foot lifter and I’m getting used to not having one on my Bernina’s! That’s wonderful that she’s not making her own clothes! I don’t know what “MBE” means but I assume that it’s a royal honor bestowed on someone!
