Nice job. Just one query - I see you are using an AGM battery with the original generator. My understanding is that AGM batteries require a high rate of charge to keep them topped up, or they will eventually run down. Is the generator capable of putting out enough current?
Should have keep the original carb, they are priceless.... I missed the size of the V-8, and did you get a sim kit for the starter to get it to align properly which of course quiets that squeal when you start the car.
