Pretty good stuff as usual. I hope the rest of dinosaurs get new models, at least the ones that look like their designs are copied off Jurassic Park/World (such as the T.Rex, Raptors, and Gallimimus).
Just started playing this the other day. Very good and promising work! The game is already very fun and immersive. Best dinosaur game I've played in years. I can't wait for future AI/animation updates to make these dinosaurs feel more real. It seems the T-Rex just zeroes in on you if you're anywhere near it, ignoring anything it was chasing. I may have got lucky, but I was able to take down two Utahraptors with the starter pistol. Both of them jumped at me several times, and this just allowed me to unload my pistol into their stomach. The AI already has impressive actions, my jaw dropped when I realized some Gallimimus were actively running from a T-Rex that was intentionally chasing them. I think if the attacks the dinosaurs use, and their effect on the player, are more fleshed out, players' battles with dinosaurs will provide an experience like no other. Imagine a T-Rex picking you up and tossing you, or instead of just accepting that you'll get chomped to death when one catches you, you have a chance to shoot your way out while it tries to chew you up. The raptors could actually pin you to the ground when they pounce, add an extra layer of strategy not knowing if the raptor will tackle you again or if it will just slash/bite. Something like that is probably far out, but the foundation you have here is extremely solid and competently designed. Like I said, I only started playing yesterday, so maybe I have more to learn but the only thing that feels a bit lacking at the moment is when dinosaurs become hostile, basic attacks that even if I shoot my way out, takes away from the gratification of hunting my prey with skill. During that first T-Rex/Gallimimus encounter, I was probably 100 feet away, on a hill, crouched in shrubbery, and it still turned almost 90 degrees and came straight for me. Even if it lost the Gallimimus, that kinda broke the immersion of my encounter. Apologies if this overly long comment is just repeating things you've already heard or planned. You guys clearly have a badass vision, and if my feedback will help this game reach its potential, I'm glad to give it.
very good progress and i love to see it but one thing i may ask is the foliage in the forests doesnt quite match the tress for some reason? its just strange and breaks the immersion abit
This has come so far you should be really proud the game is getting better and better.
Those water effects might beat every other hunting game ever
On my wishlist!

Yeah those Dino’s are in desperate need for an updated and more distinct design
