Curry goat is definately one of my favorite dishes in Jamaica! I am allways looking for the best curry goat and it looks like i found another! great job again Matt!
i have been to jamaica 2 times, but that was so long ago. i have such a craving to return to the island. maybe one day.

Back when I lived in London in my late teens, early 20s, I literally survived on curry goat. I can cook, but I was lazy and strung out on drugs so all I'd eat would be Jamaican/Caribbean style food. 10 years later almost, fully clean (minus the ganja) and still absolutely obsessed with Jamaican food. My addiction took a lot, but the one thing it did give me is an insane appreciation for Jamaican food and culture. Never met so many lovely mums inviting me into their homes, literally stuffing me full of food while my mates were trying to get out of their mum's kitchen ASAP lmao. Much love!

Matthew as usual another wonderful food tour, but please can you save some for us.Another thing,I don't know where Jamaican people home and abroad get this idea of sugaring the food,It's not pastry please stop cooking with all that sugar in the beef,oxtail,brown Stew chicken, rice and peas and the brown Stew fish.Im so over it!.

My Brother and I bought boxes of curry goat yesterday with breadfruit and rice and peas…..I introduced him to Sandra and he lives about a block down and didn’t know that this gem was close by!!! Of course the food finished cause it was finger licking GOOD!!!!!

That curry goat looks so authentic. No one is cooking old school anymore in Jamaica. I love traditional Jamaican style cooking like my grandmother use to do. Real herbs no browning no Maggie. I visit Jamaica and went to a restaurant and I was so disappointed. I could tell that the food was not real home style authentic Jamaican cooking. So sad that the tradition is not there anymore. I must visit that place when I come back to Jamaica on another visit

Food boss I am going to say something you might not like it but I will say it anyway you’re speaking to the world not just Jamaican if you listen to the chefs they all try to speak their best I am a born in Jamaica 🇯🇲 but live abroad since I was 10 I am now in my seventies I really like you Matthew you have got a good thing going on I would like to see you go too but just those little things I share your videos with my English friends but they say it’s hard to understand what they are saying so that to me says everything 🎉

FYI MATTHEW, IN BARBADOS THEY CUT THE BREADFRIUT IN 2 TEMHEN ROAST. FILL IT WITH MIX UP SALTFISH AND OTHER THINGS, SEVER IT IN FOIL..THEY DO NOT PEEL IT.

Curry powder is a blend of spices. One of the main spices is Turmeric. They create their own blend with all natural seasoning.
