This makes me wonder how Sideswipe scanned his vehicle mode (which was a concept car that never actually existed)
Same reason as Bumblebee who scanned the only existing 5th Gen Camaro at the time
Nest probably had access to good cars for the Autobots
If i had to guess they probably just connected to the internet and checked out all the cars on there. He probably saw the concept car and wanted that.
Actually the physical car existed, it just wasn't produced. But it's not unreasonable for one to be driving on a track and sideswipe to land near it and scan it

i love how dropkick complains about primitive human technology, yet scans it anyway
Well they need to blend in so they dont get the entire U.S. after them
They may be prideful Decepticons, but the Robots In Disguise thing, seems pretty integral to how the current society on Cybertron functions. Especially with...you know the a millennium war that is currently still active, so perhaps it is just part of the job description of which...he did...clearly signup for...till otherwise noticed or mentioned.
Or, OR! ...The javelin wasn't in the truck, and was instead off screen somewhere else.
This kinda feels like the "where was Blackout's scorpion in-between movies" video, It was hiding like the rest of the decepticons.
Sometimes the simplest answers are the right ones.
This seems alot more plausible and you wouldn't have to do any stretches and guess about how their tech works
The one thing I dislike about the rebooted continuity is that they don’t say the names of certain characters such as Battletrap in Rise of the Beasts, how could they not say Shatter and Dropkick’s names in the Bumblebee movie? They were the main villains of the movie.
Does it make a difference? The bayverse hardly names it's own characters at times, barricade, bonecrusher, blackout, grindor, frenzy, rampage, longhaul (borderline all the constructicons minus devastator) are examples of the bayverse itself never mentioning characters by name verbally
@@Kaiju-bm4ts at least most of those guys you named were stated verbally in Cybertronian and displayed on screen being translated from Cybertronian. Which is better than not mentioning them at all.

@@maxdahooman It really doesn't, as those are a small fraction of characters (especially decepticons) who's names were said or shown to any extent during the movie. Again, most of the constructicons aren't mentioned by name, same with frenzy and ravage. Ksi boss from tf4, none of the dinobots except grimlock. Arcee is mentioned by name but neither are chromia or elita one and no "arcee twins" ain't saying all 3 of their names at once.
Sideways? Nope, name never said. Dreads? Names never said except for 2 in tf5. I can go on. The bayverse has quite alot of characters who's names are never said. Their names not being said isn't a big deal.

@@Kaiju-bm4ts its not really a big difference, but for people who don't keep up with what's happening in the TF community, and just watch those movies because they felt like it and not because they're TF fans, it would be really awkward for them to not know the names of the villains when they're explaining the movie to a friend (nt=ot really a BIG deal, but oh well...)
That really is one of the few problems I had with Bumblebee. I always wondered where that Javelin was when Dropkick scanned it.

Your theory for dropkicks vehicle form is good but like someone else commented i think it was somewhere else off screen because if it was in the truck we would've seen the wreckage of the car but we didn't and it's not like dropkick crashing through the trailer completely eviscerated the car so I think it was somewhere else off screen nearby.

I think its possible that he scaned it while in re-entery mode somewhere on the way to the landing site,this also explains how shatter got her’s even tho she destroyed it after landing
We need more what if I survived series for Jetfire shatter and dropkick sentinel and many more especially scourge and nightbird and battletrap
I'm more impressed that the production team even got a Javelin for the movie... I've been after one for years!
Second time I'll ask, I want to know how Dino and Sideswipe didn't detect Soundwave when Carly left Sam, when Bumblebee detected Alice in ROTF, and Optimus knew the Decepticon on Sam's wrist in the scene where they're talking in DOTM.

The fact that, yes Dino and Sideswipe didn’t knew about Soundwave’s presence and I only knew Alice too quite strange don’t you think?😅
Bumblebee might have a better sensor than Dino and Sideswipe probably, but Dino and Sideswipe are quite more elite for Agilty and Intelligence i guess, Bee is quite a strong bot so my guess is that Dino and Sideswipe were communicating with a Human from their radio or somewhere
Second theory is that Dino and Sideswipe ignored the Car and focused on their mission as N.E.S.T. Autobot Soldiers, btw i loved your Opinion about Dino and Sideswipe not Knowing Carly’s car as Soundwave

Hey Theorymus I found an easter egg in the first movie when Megatron was chasing sam to get the cube Megatron hit a car away before running into a building to get to sam and the numberplate on the car which Megatron threw was ENERGON i hope you can cover his next video
I always saw that car at the side of the truck that dropkick destroyed on his crashlanding as the one he scanned

I’ve actually also wondered how dropkick got his vehicle mode. It was always a mystery to me. Well, now I know.
The coincidence that this video came out the day after I found a Land mode Dropkick. Also, I think his explanation makes Shatter scanning her land mode make more sense as it appeared that the Plymouth was also destroyed by Shatter's escape pod.
Nice theory! Never thought of this, but yeah, seeing Dropkick transforming for the first time without showing the car before raised a question, which I've immediately forgotten shortly after.
My Theory is that the other four might be Prowl, and Jazz for two, Sideswipe could be my guess, Same for The Twins (Skids and Mudflap) and my other guess is Jolt too, if it would be Female, obviously Chromia and Elita-One, since Transformers War For Cybertron Elita-One is the main Lover For Optimus Prime so Elitär-One could be one of them😅

Hey Theorymus, I was just wondering if you would ever be interested in doing a what-if series similar to the what if I survived but just with all what if topics
I don’t really like comparing the escape pods from bayverse and current continuity since if I remember correctly the pods weren’t pods but were actually just the bots transformed into their alt mode from their proto form since we can see that one of the pod begins to transform after it crashes

The way they scan in the newer movies is just their pov of scanning. I think it’s pretty much the same as the previous films since in the new ones, they scan it like a 3d movie and in the previous ones from our pov we see lasers go through the whole vehicle

When first watching the movie and Dropkick pointed his gun at that human i was like " ok, he's gonna disintegrate him, standard Decepticon practice." It completely blindsided me when that guy popped like a balloon 💀

I figured the bots and cons themselves were able to scan which vehicle they wanted before impact and if it was inside something like a trailer or behind other structures they had some xray ability
Its weird that transformers always find car what its exatly the same collor like them, thats why I preffer in bayverse that they alwsys looks different than they got Earth mode

My theory had always been the alt mode was also owned by the dude that bought the red car. Just parked off screen. Makes sense why they have simular paint jobs.
Anyone remembers the DOTM transscan toys? I remember my cousin having starscream and bumblebee 4 pack.
I just realised something, where did nest put the decepticon's bodies when they killed them. If it's the lurenchan abyss then maybe sideways came back to life as well and became the Audi R8 Decepticon we see in prime's rage in dark of the moon. I was reading the transformers wiki and I saw that this con has the same body type as sideways. In fact, it's even the same CGI model.

Can you make a video on what happened to the other 4 autobots in the end of BB? We see 7 in the end of Bumblebee but only 4 appear in Rise of the Beasts. (Arcee, Mirage, Stratosphere and Wheeljack)
One theory i wanna know is, who were the other 3 Autobots at 2:43 who landed as we know that 4 of them are Arcee, Wheeljack, Mirage and Stratosphere.

Agree, 07 and DOTM he was a Chevy and hit TLK he became a Ford Mustang, made him extra Coller in his robot form, I’m still thinking who should be my Favorite decepticons still.

My theory is probably dropkick scanned shatter's Alt mode and made it blue since we can see Optimus scanning a white truck but once Optimus was done it was all in blue and red flames so they can customize they're Alt mode.
But Dropkick's alt mode is an entirely different model from Shatter's

Was there ever a Human DNA Scanned Transformer Robot? As in Spike or one of the other humans got mortally wounded. So they decided to put a DNA Scanner next to him as he died. Any idea what a human transformer would look like? inquiring minds want to know.
