From all the BBQ channels I have the most respect for yours. Not only are you funny, but you know your BBQ!!! anything that I have done that you suggested turned out Funtaastic!. I love the Weber series because not many people have smokers but everyone has a weber kettle, The slow and sear was the game changer for me. I did the same to my Kettle along with the thermostat and I get excellent results. Thank you brother :)
Well George, he sells a grill you can buy for $2000. Correct $2000. He also crapped on Webers. But that’s his opinion. Don’t forget that $100 chimney starter. I have no idea why I’m watching his videos. I’m kinda upset he crapped on Weber and said he was better.
Jeremy you don't need the chimney starter. The Sear gun works better. no charcoal going everywhere. Who cares if he crapped on the Weber. You can buy his 2k grill but I am happy with my Weber :)
He’s a comedian
The webber kettle series gave you top status over every other bbq channel out there. The kettle is all alot of us guys have and you came through for us. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the Weber Kettle series,it’s the best on UA-cam 🍻
Bradley, you are head and shoulders above all other BBQ YT'ers. Period. I have made this turkey recipe 3 times now on my Weber Kettle and its perfect every time. I live in North Central Texas and have an HEB about 25 miles away, so i make a special trip to buy the meats you use on your channel. Your Tri-tip video was awesome as well, made it just the way you did. I had no idea you could make steaks out of them!! As a Texan I can't believe a guy from NH has come down here and is absolutely killing it. Keep doin' what you're doin', sir!!!
Love all Chuds videos! Just got my Weber Kettle and really hope this series continues for at least a few more.
i come back to this Weber kettle series over and over and over. I've been trying to think of something to make so I came back again. I'm definitely doing this in the next couple days. Thanks again!!!
Just asked wife to find a turkey breast. Great Vid!! Thanks
I get the same exact ones from HEB. Whenever I see them in stock I get like 3 and freeze them for whenever I want to smoke Turkey Breast. It's fantastic hot, but also you can let it cool, vacuum seal it, and use it for sandwich meat for the next week or so.
Man another cut I make often! Good stuff and seems to be forgotten about often!
Your kettle videos weren’t the first I saw, but they were the ones that convinced me to get one. My kettle got here last week and I can’t wait for my first smoke on it
Can attest, beef tallow is BOMB on this style turkey! If you wanna get wild with it, emulsify smoked tallow with Texas Pete’s or Frank’s Red Hot and rest the turkey in that!
The Rib Tickler in Tomball, TX had (has?) the best turkey breast; ribs were really amazing as well. Moved away 8 years ago and thanks to you I’m getting “good enough” results from my Weber kettle! BBQ life is rough here in the PNW
I hit the thumbs up before i even watch the video because I already know it’s going to be fire
Just started smoking my Weber kettle a year ago, your video’s are my go to 👍. Keep em coming sir😎
Just did this today on the Weber SM while watching the football games. So tender and easy to do with great leftovers. This will be our new Thanksgiving turkey dish.
My new fav channel. Easiest to follow instructions and best personality! Lovin it!
man, oh man! followed this video just like you laid it out and made this my first smoke ever and it turned out soooo good... and soooo easy. Thank you!!
I don't live in TX, but am over in Bama and it was 40 degrees outside and it still worked great. I now know that smoking things isn't as hard as I had originally thought, and I am not nearly as intimidated as I was. I'll watch your other videos and go smoke more meats. Thank you!!
I've always avoided turkey breast but you might have convinced me, hopefully they are more available with the holiday coming up
OMG! Hands down, the best turkey breast I have ever made. I had trouble holding the temp low enough so it was bouncing between 225 and 325. I used briquettes (Kingsford Professional) as that was all I had and some small chunks of apple. It took 2 hours to reach 150. I pulled it, placed some Kerry Gold butter on the foil, laid the breast presentation side down, put more butter on top and wrapped it up. As the family was not home, I let it rest on the stove top near the oven exhaust to maintain some warmth for about an hour. All my family said was WOW! Moist, tender and delicious. 2 hours had plenty of smoke flavor. Thank-you! I also ordered the slow and sear items that you used although I had to get the stainless drip pan as the cast iron is backordered. I will order that as well as I'm a huge fan of cast iron. Can't wait to view more of your videos and learn more tips and tricks from you.
Could you maybe do a demonstration on a coming up video on how you control how much seasoning you apply when using your hand? Love the content. Easily my favorite barbecue channel.
Yours is definitely the most entertaining and informative BBQ channel on UA-cam! You never disappoint with your humor or your recipes. I love all your videos!
This is going on the smoker for Masters weekend!
You are a master of your craft sir. Thanks for sharing the knowledge
Just tried your butter pouch method today, game changer 🤌🏼 thanks for sharing!
Just got my weber kettle! In Italy it's a bit difficult to find some bbq cuts.. Your videos are topp!
I agree 100% Turkey is the best bite in bbq! I absolutely love it!
I like how simple you made this. Pre-Brined turkey breast, simple rub and that's about it. Smoke at 250 F for about 3.4 hours. And then finish it with butter and foil wrap.
Can't wait to make this for Thanksgiving, thanks!
When to cook is so easy that half the vid is you tasting and smacking about how good and easy it is :) WIN
Brilliant! Love it! Looking forward to the next one. Friday’s - Monday are pretty lame in UA-cam world!
I just did this today on my Weber! It was fantasteic! I may never do a full turkey again. Way easier and faster. Thanks Chud!
this weber kettle series is the best thanks for doing this for us.
I just smoked a couple turkey breasts last Saturday with the same simple seasoning and they turned out amazing!
Could you do a video on holding temps on different meats? How long to let it rest before throwing it in a warmer or cooler?
Love the newby joke, I’ve had so many say is it done ? with the the smoke ring 😂
I'm in Houston (Katy) and do one of these from HEB every few weeks or so, but I've done it on the offset and sometimes on the pellet smoker. I usually chill it up in the fridge for a bit then slice it up on the slicer. Bingo.....sandwich meat for the wifey and I for a week or so. May have to to do one on my Weber kettle just to try it. As Bradley says, it is "FAN-TASTE-IC"!!
Just picked up a new kettle. Enjoying the Kettle series. If the flipping weather here in Western NY ever breaks and I can get it seasoned and ready. This will be one of the top 5 cooks on it!!!. Looks Fantastic!!. Keep the vid's coming!!
Love the Ed Bassmaster reference, "Would ya just look at it!" :D
Beautifully done! My family aren’t crazy about Turkey but I am going with this method for the holiday!
Good smoked turkey is so insanely good when done right. I haven't tried it myself but after this I'm gonna have to!
Awesome - off to the store I go! Simple, inexpensive, and delic-ious!
Just finished two turkey breasts on my 12 year old Webber (modified). Had to add a thermometer, ordered the slow n sear and the slow n sear griddle. The best turkey I have ever smoked. Wife says best turkey she has ever had. And the butter!!! OMG! Who knew!
The turkey is the most underrated piece of smoked meat I don’t care who gets mad at me
Brad- phenomenal color on that bird! And the butter dredged slices OMFG! Turkey done this way is every bit as good as any other meat on a BBQ menu. Perfectly executed- thank you!
That looks AMAZING! I definitly don't have space and equipment to do all this but it looks stunning.
That’s definitely money! Awesome video! Cheers y’all!
Up to now, I've only smoked turkey drums. Most definitely going to try this, if I can possibly get it that juicy, I'm all in.
Great recipe. I have had Texas style turkey in Austin, but I enjoyed this more. We added Thyme to it, loved it. Thanks again, and keep making more of your great videos.
Man. That looks amazing. I just chowed down on some food and I’m hungry again. Lol
I smoked my first turkey breast (first turkey in general) last Thanksgiving. I used my weber as well. Ia still shocked out how well it came out. It was the best I've ever had.
I've only had my new kettle about 2 weeks. This video helped me look like a seasoned pro for last nights dinner with friends. Thanks!!
Hey Brad. That’s a perfect cook during a live stream
Cooked this today. Can confirm, this is awesome!
I can see this as a basis for a killer old-fashioned Club Sandwich.
Huge fan of the channel. Only posting on the most recent (not a lot of leftovers here) but I’d love some what to do with the leftovers ideas. Especially the pulled pork or brisket.
Basically the way I BBQ everything!
Killer can't wait to try this one
I judge BBQ places by how good their smoked turkey is. It's simple, but really easy to screw up. This however, looks amazing.
Did this today using my Rectec Bullseye.
Came out great
Gotta love HEB meat section...going to head out to my HEB plus and get one of these. Cheers 🍻
Thank Chud
Love it. So thankful I found your channel
Love the weber series!
Great video! Will definitely be trying this on the Weber. I'm enjoying the series for all of the ideas for when I don't want to tend to the offset smoker
Alaska here.....might be warm enough this Saturday to do some chicken...definitely will do a turkey breast this summer
Wow! Can't wait to do this myself, because I Love me some turkey sandwiches!!
Excellent video, as usual! I'd love to see your take on some borracho beans, or some veggies on the offset/Weber. You always say don't forget the sides... let's see some sides! :D
first! love ya chud, greetings from germany bro keep up the nice work!
Okay Mr. Chud, I have a bone 🍖 to pick with you!!!
First of all my wife and I both love your channel. We get a few laughs and learn something. There’s a snake in my boot. I have tried several of your recipes and have enjoyed each one we have tried.
I have never cared for turkey but yours looked so good on the video I thought I’ll try it. After all the worst that could happen is we make it dog food if we didn’t like it.
Well today this ol ribeye lover may have found a new favorite. I never cared for Turkey but this was great. Now I have to say thank you. It was the best piece of meat I have ever ate
Looks awesome. I'm glad my Weber buddy will get to see this video. We just gave him some of the Turkey we smoked on our offset last weekend and if liked that he can see how it's made on a weber. Great Turkey Samiches!
Dude...
you're amazing!!!
inspired no doubt...
Just a little butter......love it.
Making this plus a turducken this year. Keep up the great work
Great video, is there any way you could make a video on how you clean that butcher block? You put a lot of raw meat as well as very juicy meat on it. Also it being outside, I’d love to see how you maintain it. Thanks again!
Great job did a great job with that turkey
cant wait to try this tomorrow for my fist smoke. my only question is, do i need to let the turkey come up to room temp before i throw it on the webber?
drooling again!
🔥Fire video man! I can never seem to nail that color on my smoked Turkey breast. Well done my man!
Awesome videos man !! Easy to watch and learn, could you do beef rib roast on the Weber kettle ? Side not I bought the exact same one as you love the copper colour ! Thanks!
A sight to behold.
Your dog jumping at that turkey had me dying! 🤣
Love this series - and my kettle. Wouldn't love to see you cook for a crowd on the kettle - that can be a challenge for me.
Lovely
I watch this video every time I smoke a turkey breast. I don't do it exactly the same way. (I do briquettes in a traditional snake method with some hickory chunks at 250.) but the overall guidance here is excellent - especially the butter.
Oh this is interesting. Thanks for the upload
Perfectly done Brad, another job well done. Now I want taco’s 😂
I wanna try something different for Thanksgiving this year. I think this'll do it.
You love that red handled knife. I think I've only seen a few videos where you don't use it. Love the videos keep it up bro!
Nice cook. I've been cooking these turkey breasts on my Weber kettle for Thanksgiving for several years in place of the traditional big bird. Sorry, Kansas City is the BBQ capital.
My God, that looked unbelievable.
6:10 …..”but they just don’t know any better”…. 😆 Gawd I love your content! Greetings from the Pacific Northwest 🇨🇦
Did this on the Weber today. Mostly was able to adhere to your method. I'm still figuring out how to get the low & slow temp - too much charcoal? - so it started out screaming hot but, despite my efforts and the indirect heat, never dipped below the 350 neighborhood. As a result, this got to a 165F internal in under 2 hours, even with an almost completely shut lid damper. Can't complain about the results, still very tasty! One departure is I occasionally sprayed on some apple cider vinegar - I'm just in the habit of doing that on these big / slow cooks.
If you are using the slow n sear, you want to make sure to just light a half a dozen or so coals in one of the corners, and once it gets to adjust your dampers to maintain temps. Also use the water pan. Slow N Sear has a good instructional video on UA-cam that has worked well with me.
If you do not have a slow n sear, I would recommend the snake method. That also works really well for low and slow cooking and there are a ton of videos on that method as well.
Hello there Bradley; My name is Tim Williams and I want to thank you for giving good instructions on grilling chicken on the Weber Kettle Grill.
I'd like to know if you ever grilled bone in Chicken Breast? if so many minutes does it takes to Grill chicken (Drumsticks, Thighs, wings,& Bone in Breast?
please let me know and thank you.
Tim Williams 🙏🏾
Chud! Bradley that looks so good. I'm going to try this asap.
Great video, short yet informative
I've watched this like 10 times already and I gotta say, that finished product is very inspiring. The thumb nail is perfect
Great job 👍🏾👍🏾
I'm making this. I've probably watched this 20 times now. I'm obsessed 😁 I gotta have it.
I made it! And it is delicious 🤤
I got good color on it but I over did it with the garlic and most of it came off in the butter bath. It still looked good and tasted great.
Thanks for the inspiration. Thanksgiving is gonna be awesome 👍🏾👍🏾
I’ve been thinking about getting a kettle for sometime now. Are you using the 22” or the 26”? Thoughts on those sizes? I am just starting out and want to practice fire management. Currently only using a Weber Spirit 2 and a smoke tube.
Great stuff as always. When I cook I get the flavors but not the color.
Awesome video I have been waiting for one on turkey we love it at my house
Im not a fan of turkey other then on Thanksgiving but I need to try this ASAP
Looks amazing!👍🏻
Incredible!! Gotta do it.
