great job, just started following your channel, looks like i have a lot of catching up to do. have a great day, mostly i work on locks, picking, making keys where needed, i have a few little still frame video's but have more pics on my IG channel under same ID.
Good video. I'm not quite clear how you can tell a slot is a false gate. Also, the DDM is measuring the handle movement? Does that work better than using a pointer attached to the handle? Thanks.
@@black_eagle hi. That's sometimes tough. Sometimes you can give the handle a little more force and you can feel the bottom. Othertimes you need to find a slot in the second wheel and that will allow you to feel the bottom
I saw on UA-cam one guy who used elastic on the handle, pulling the handle onto the wheel pack. He would pull against the elastic, move the wheel to the next number, release it and measure. This gave very consistent pressure and readings. Although I am very much a beginner, I tried this on one direct acting safe. It worked very successfully. I used a laser and mirror for measuring.
Have you thought the fact most safes have holes in the bottom of them. So when you transport maybe get a light on small camera and look in the holes to see if there is anything that would stop from opening it, so when you open it you can just open it, and not try to see something that might or might not be there. IF I was going to set a trap on.a safe door, I would move it to the other side of the door that can not be seen from the first opening. Or set it on the hinge so it would appear to be clear and then something would happen as you get the door all the way open. So if you look up through the bottom you might see more than putting a light in during the first opening.. Just a thought...
@@pagedeveloper good thought. Alot have mounting holes but you have to punch through the inside fabric. But that's not too tough. I have in the past but it kinda runs the surprise of what's in it. But I do have a borrnscooe camera if I need it
Love your videos!! Can't stop watching!
