I like Randy's voice in this. There's something distinctive about it. Makes me wonder how many guitarists would have made good frontmen, but maybe never got the chance.
it's played a bit too fast here. Blackie can't get his words out...and then comes the dance. The Ali Shuffle. Blackie always nailed the Ali Shuffle. Cool stuff!
+Tammi Lawless . Ah, ok. Thanks I really had no idea, but it has interested me for many years, and thought that it was something unique from Mohammed Ali but deep down I know we all get our influences from earlier times. What I found interesting with the shuffle/ dance was how well it worked in a set space like a boxing ring, and naturally also a stage too. More so on the stage because this size can vary from venue to venue, and therefore I loved how well Blackie did it. The first time I saw Blackie was in a theatre in England, UK and naturally our venues are so much smaller than the American equivalent as well as the arena's too. Still, Blackie did 'the shuffle' on the small UK stages and there you really have to know where the front and sides of the stage are as you look forward and sing to the crowd. That's impressive! By "The Last Command" tour, Blackie was a natural at it, and incorporated the shuffle into different parts of the show. Great times, and good shows with memories, :-)
W.a.s.p. will never fade away
