- Join us for an enlightening interview with Vincent, aka African Amakishiu, a Nigerian singer, UA-camr, and comedian married to a Naga lady and living in Nagaland. Vincent shares his incredible journey, from arriving in India for medical treatment only to be duped on his first day and ending up living on the streets of Mumbai. Despite these hardships, he persevered, doing odd jobs to make ends meet and eventually getting back on his feet. It was during this time he met his now Naga wife.
However, Vincent's challenges didn't end there. Upon moving to Nagaland to be with his wife, he was arrested due to an expired visa. Now a father, Vincent faces legal restrictions that prevent him from leaving Nagaland, severely impacting his ability to earn a living as an artist, with most of his shows being outside the state.

Portrait Chronicles doesn't own a studio where we shoot our interviews. Ninety-five percent of the time, we go to the interviewee's location for the shoot. We carry a portable backdrop to maintain a consistent theme and aesthetic, so it may appear that we shoot in a fixed studio. Depending on the available facilities at the given location, we make the necessary atmospheric arrangements. But we don't shoot with the fan or AC on because it adversely affects the audio quality. Yes, Dimapur's weather is unbearable these days, but if our interviewees and team can endure it to bring contents for your viewing pleasure, we hope and pray you will understand why we don't use the fan or AC during our interview even if it's available at the location🙏 ❤️

Even if there's no AC atleast set up the fan because it seems he's sweating from humidity, they'll feel uncomfortable while being on camera, no harsh feeling just my opinion thank you.

They are restricting you coz ur visa was expired if you are in other countries u ll face hell when it comes to visa violator and if u don’t have valid residency visa or whatever you are not supposed to leave the place or travel to any place . At least in Nagaland they didn’t deport you immediately with a red stamp on ur passport be thankful. Hopefully and pray that ur visa and residency issue will solve soon .
