- FINALLY got this badge lmao. Definitely one of the longest grinds for a video, this took about twice as long as damageless. Definitely wouldn't consider it harder though, just a much bigger luck check.

The only reason you survived pandemonium on the ridge when you hid behind that table is because you looked down, it made your head lower down and was fully covered, since pandemonium's sight probably aims for the players head (I think), he couldn't see you. So lucky tho.
I mostly use torsos in scripting because im too lazy to try HumanoidRootPart but aiming for the head sounds like a nice way of scripting

Notes for future runners, do keep them in mind. This is useful for both Lockerless and This Badge Sucks.
1: Theres 2 types of safe spots, Safe Spot (SS) and Pandemonium Safe Spot (PSS). Memorize a majority of these before going in, and note simple formations (Desks, crates, pipes, etc) that can be used as hiding spots.
2: Shelves tend to be very safe to hide behind, especially if the entity won't be headed direction you're hiding in. You can essentially, hug it for dear life and usually live unless its too close to the main path. (Primarily only works on T rooms)
3: Keycards make a constant static noise when you're near them, this is an easier way to find them. (New 3 since the devs patched the other one)
4: Pinkie can spawn in dark rooms, keep your ears out constantly.
5: Stair rooms going down, hug the very bottom of the stairs if its Pandemonium, as you will be sighted. Stairs going up, hug the corner.
6: Desks ARE safe, if you crouch behind them, and look down, and as long as there's no other potential line of sights. That last bit may get ya.
7: Side rooms, hug the corners closest to the entrance, as Angler's hitbox does cut into those rooms a good bit. So play it safe.
8: To get into corners with boxes and such, walk up, and look down somewhat slowly. This can save a lot of your runs, and these are decently frequent in both Ridge, and in the first hundred rooms.
9: Vents leading below rooms, you wanna hug the corners of the entrances, as the middle part won't be safe from Pandemonium. Always best to play it safe. Also you can rarely find these in Trenches, I may be wrong though, so take that with a grain of salt.
10: (Unless you're not going with lights) Flash Beacon is your best friend in the Ridge, from my experience. Open the door, flash the room for hiding spots, if there isn't one, run back to your previous hiding spot. If you don't have one, you just gotta push and hope for rng-sus to bless you. If you wanna do no lights, just copy & paste most people, open the door to bait, and run back to the nearest hiding spot. Again, if there isn't one, push and hope.
I hope people find this useful, and feel free to add in replies extra tips that could be useful as well. I just find these the most important ones to note. Good luck out there! :3
The third note for tbs or lockerless is not that true, someone from higherups in pressure discord said that pandemonium has a spawn cap of 1 during the ridge

Nearly 120 attempts?? I did my first lockerless run without lights and damageless… in 34 attempts. My luck has to be something else. Good job on persisting through all the failures at the ridge.

Pinkie is the only angler that can spawn in dark rooms, since it doesn't flicker the lights :) (at least from what I experienced, i dunno if it was something else sorry)

it's such a luck-based badge that my first win (and first actual attempt of lockerless) was the run that I beat it. meanwhile my friends were stuck doing it for 20+ runs.

@@aurorabryanindasasongko4922 as the video says, it's knowledge of how the game works, and luck. for instance: blitz's hitbox is marginally larger than the other node monsters, which causes it to take different paths than normal, and also invalidates certain safe spots. it's really niche room/monster knowledge that carries you through, as well as plenty of risk-taking.

Though, I'd agree with your comment. Lockerless is SUPER reliant on RNG. Most runs end due to room generation being against you. I would say 8-Player Badge, or Damageless, being the harder ones to complete.
Here are some tips for lockerless room types.
Waterfall rooms: PRAY you get a side room, as there is almost zero safe spots in this area.
Trench rooms: same here, but there are no side rooms, pray for vents as they are pss aswell. (hug the corner in the first vent) Also, eyefestation spawns more frequently in this area, so if you (for some reason) decide to enrage it, you are pretty much dead as you cant hear or see what is coming.
Oxygen farm: on the ground, don't go to the side, the anglers will kill you. Instead, go near a box and keep moving against the wall.
On the elevated rooms, the anglers will ALWAYS go to the right (from the pov of the door you came from). Pandemonium is guaranteed death here.
Containment labs: this area is basically free, as there is almost guaranteed side rooms which are pss. If there aren't, run to the next room as angler can't spawn from the front here (i think)
Maintenance tunnels: this is basically waterfall rooms but you can hear properly, pray for side rooms.
Server rooms: this is easy for experienced players, go to the block nearest to a side wall (that is not the right door). You can stay still if its an angler, if its pandemonium stay still, then move to the door where you came from after he passes (RELY ON SOUND CUES PLEASE)
The sewers: you are dead if someone is coming, pray so that you don't get these rooms.
The ridge: an angler ALWAYS spawns in a room. Open a room, find a ss, and go there when he is near if there is a speaker. If there is pandemonium, go to the stairs that go up or a side room, any other spot is guaranteed death.
Underwater rooms: basically normal rooms but you can go up. This feature helps you against anglers, as there is a long hall room that has a very high ceiling, or go to the end of the room if these rooms are about to end.
Normal rooms: these rooms are the most popular ones. If a monster is coming and its a t shaped stair room and the door up is fake, you are lucky as you thats a pss, hug either of the corners even if its not pandy.
In a normal t shaped room, go to the side with the fake door and hide near an object (box, shelves, drawer) because those are pss. If there are NOT any objects, stay as close as possible near the fake door and pray its not pandy.
If you're in a plus shaped room, hide near the sides, those are only ss if the correct door is straight. If the correct door is on the side, go to the other side and hug the object near the side you came from, as the other side is only ss.
In a side room, just hug a corner near the exit, which is pss.
Also, if you're in a room with the weird sculptures (i forgot their name) hide behind them, sometimes you will survive if there is nowhere to hide.
Some notes aswell:
Pinkie CAN spawn in dark rooms (RELY ON SOUND CUES PLEASE), angler sometimes decides to be pinkie if you have bad connection, mirage is just angler but doesn't kill you, anglers can still spawn in turret rooms, and last of all, pandemon is the run killer most of the time. Like this comment to help other people and i hope this helps!
badges are one thing. challenges are truely the hardest part. the hardest i’ve conceived is the absolute nothing run. no lockers, no lights, no items, no damage, no research. the only thing you can pick up is keycards. i’ve seen one person get close, but they picked up research.

When you were in the ridge and pandemonium went bye not just did the desk save you, but you looking down did, looking down lowers your hit box and allowed you to effectively hide from pandemonium

also for a tip if anyone else is doing lockerless, in rooms that are 50/50 (circular rooms that loop to meet one end), keeping to a node monsters left (excluding pandemonium and froger) will allow you to live since their path goes towards the right. obviously this likely wont work on pandemonium (havent tried it yet), and frogers rebounds make her go right-left-right, which is pretty much impossible to pull off without dying

God, good job dude. I personally haven't counted how many runs it took for me but i know that feeling of dying at the ridge. Got 6 total attempts that got to it, 2 of which i had gotten to door 114. One died due to 3 unlucky rooms in a row and the other my nearves got to me and did a dumb move when i had good rng. Also saw some moments from the runs you shown that paralleled mine which is pretty cool. But eh, enough with my rambling, glad to have watched you win and i hope to see what you do next :)

this badge is so twisted, because I've heard horror stories of WEEKS or HOURS of attempts wasted, meanwhile I got lucky with room gen on my first real attempt at it, when I thought I'd spend the whole midnight tryna get it (by first real attempt, i mean like an actual go at it when in the past i attempted to do it when i was new to the game simply for silly fun)
and the ridge I found myself bashing and blazing through the doors and oddly quickly beat it which was due to the blessing of a blacklight and rlly good room gen, shows that it rlly is about luck. I do take pride for my feat, but I know it was shocking luck

10:34 there was also a series of doors (the game) like room and Sebastian’s shop was even themed like Jeff’s shop, and it even has the elevator and it’s theme aswell as a perfect replica of the reception room.

The trench sub-area has some rooms with vents in the floor, which is guaranteed safe from even pandemonium
damn. id go insane after that many attempts. also here's a little tidbit that may have saved some of your runs- the very first room of the ridge, the double doors, is a pandemonium safe spot. pandemonium spawns on a timer in the ridge. so if you wait there, pandemonium will eventually pass by, leaving you safe from him for the rest of the ridge.

I’ve been trying to grind for it, and while I did manage to win a run, I didn’t get the badge because most of the badges were broken when the “Friendly Fire” update released.
I swear my luck lets me get far only to kill me near the end.
Something I like to mention is that anglers that come from the back take longer than ones that come from the front

New update, Lockers have a hitbox now. so you can hide behind them now
If I may, at least according to what I've found online, Pandemonium can only spawn once in main game and once in the Ridge. And starts becoming possible to spawn as early as door 22 or 25 depending on the source (this is why the Pandemonium door 30 is such a new meme in Pressure) but his chance of spawning becomes higher as the game progresses. The later you get Pandemonium in main game and the earlier you get him in the Ridge the better your run can be. Now I am unaware of because of the most recent update if this info has changed but looking at the good people jumpscare shown it is pre-update. The Angler variants on the waterfall room no longer clips through the rock blocking your path, meaning that rooms no longer safe. Just thought I would add my little two cents in on the vid, congrats on the lockerless and your making me think about attempting my own run in the future.
Pandemonium can spawn multiple times between door 25-100. It's just that Pandemonium is a rare entity.

on my successful lockerless run, i had to do a risky maneuver to avoid a pandemonium on the final door of the ridge.
i was streaming to my friends and was on deafen at the time, so i typed "NO" repeatedly in chat before taking the gamble and moving around the safe spot to hopefully avoid pandy's gaze.
it worked and the next room was the fabled "you won" room of the ridge. i cannot even begin to describe how happy i was.

you can hide from pandemonium and the anglers in the side room of the purple safe room, you just have to hide in the corner to the right of the desk while looking straight down

tip: you can look at the background of navi ai to detect if it's the good people door (by seeing a static then its good people) instead of waiting for sparks, this will help all speedrunners
The trench rooms are actually pretty safe in my opinion, they have lots of vents you can go into if you are in trouble unless you get really unlucky.

personally i think beating the game with 8 players without anyone dying is harder just because most people are having to go lockerless anyways, no discredit to this run btw doing lockerless is a big achievement!
Its not only a safe spot (SS) its also a Pandemonium safe spot (PSS) do the same thing but put your camrea down and positioning right in the middle so youll be safe from any anglers and Pandemonium (Not wall dwellers)

I also have done lockerless and it took me a whole week of triumph and grinding and dying to pandemonium and angler 95% of the time but once u get to the end of the ridge your heart races and so did mine and I can now call myself a certified clown
I feel bad i got so lucky the first time i got to the ridge in lockerless so that i beat it with no expereience on ridge in lockerless and then this guy struggling. 🙏
