Ronnie, this is really great stuff, thank you so much! There is a lot of harmonica stuff lying around on all these Servers. Yours is the bluesiest, if I may say so. Listening to you in Hamburg/Germany. The land where the harmonicas were invented. Keep on shuffling, please
why thanks Dan..means a lot to me. once I get an idea, I just hit that record button and go! it's the only way that works for me. too much prep and I stumble all over the place. ;)
Great Lesson... I met your curly-haired cousin (same last name) while we were busking between shows downtown Chicago.. he was blown away.. instant fan.. very cool Dude .. was hilarious when he asked, "are you familiar with Ronnie Shellist?" .. I'm like, "Am I ever? '' .. LMAO .. you're great.. thank-you for giving back like Jason Ricci and Adam Gussow.. and the Late GREAT Chris Michalek

At 2:22 you did a trill without visibly moving. So, it must have been entirely with your tongue. Can you explain that one? It was very smooth. I can't get it.
hey Denis, never played those 2 together but I have heard people blow through the pignose and it sounded good to me. the green bullet is not my favorite mic. I think you can do better in that range..budget wise.
Thatks Ron. Right now sittingbon bed and learning your lesson and jaming on harmonica. God bless you. You are real bluesman. Little walter an sonny boy 1&2 smiling from heaven on you. BLUES is a gift from God to all of us! :-)
Yes, I know. Me too but I am trying hard to go full TB:) but i mean for this example, is it hybrid? Switching slides this fast to go from 1 to 2 is a bit hard for a pure Tb i guess.
they are not my first choice. i find that they produce high pitch squeals often when attempting bends. they're also a bit brighter than say a Hohner Special 20 which I'd prefer over the L.O.

Are you using TB all the time for this exercise? I have some trouble tongue switching when I draw 1 and then going back to 2 blow.
I am a hybrid pucker/TB player
Yes, I know. Me too but I am trying hard to go full TB:) but i mean for this example, is it hybrid? Switching slides this fast to go from 1 to 2 is a bit hard for a pure Tb i guess.

Ronnie, I'm a beginner. I have a LEE OSCAR harmonica in C key. It's a good harmonica ?
