@@jonathangriffiths2787 I have some critiques of his slicing tho with the door. At 14 minutes you can see him slicing into the door instead of slicing as far back as possible. You should always slice and target from as far back in the room as possible to gain vision. I see some people who claim to be sny/pers who stick their thing out of the window.
When you showed the video of the hostage rescue entry I immediately recognised it, just didn't know where from until the KSK tag popped up. This was from an actual exercise they did with the footage being used for their UA-cam series. You basically found an error in the tactics of germany's most elite military unit and fixed it by using simple principles everyone can learn. That is what seperates a good instructor from a truly great one.

These are basic things. In a real situation with a real opponent the difficulty is situational change and being able to recover very quickly while both sending and taking fire. The real trick is to be skilled enough to force the opponent to give up a strong position and to funnel him into an exposed one.

He covers some important stuff that most people miss. His orientation check is underrated. At 32:00 he talks again about the f1 driver. Learning how to manage adrenaline when it starts poisoning your blood is extremely important. What makes it happen, how to dilute it, and how to recover when it leaves your body. As well as side effects of it. All part of good judgement when things get critical.
I find it satisfying watching the end result of how you move and clear each room...looks structured, comfortable and just professional as hell. Cool video very informative
I'm not combat experienced and I'm not trained but this makes a lot of sense how he explains things and videos are not as good as actually taking courses but for people who play airsoft and paintball can use this to an extent and more importantly this can help people who unexpectedly find themselves in the real situation to at least be more aware of their movement and exposure
I've learn so much watching theses video. I just followed Project Gecko too for more knowledge. As a civilian its so great to have an expert like this making easy to absorb this information. You can practice in your home with dry fire and learn the movements. This all becomes muscle memory.
Amazing. Thank you for this perspective on another way besides dynamic entry. I Would love some thought and philosophy on defensive cqb and counter entry. My thought is this is valuable during terrorist attaches for armed civilians and officers not responding but already on the x during an attack. Thank you again.
That really would be putting out too much info. Teaching counters to what the good guys will be using 99% of the time, even if its just the theory, isnt such a great idea. If you want to know how to counter dynamic entry, go play OpFor for your local swat team
He gave you what the bois are going to do on entry, anyways. If you can't figure out what to do on the receiving end of the information given in this video, then maybe you weren't smart enough to survive the encounter, ya?
Thanks a lot, this is a gold mine of real, no bullshit knowledge and tactics. Helps a lot during airsoft matches and, of course, tactics training (way to impress the instructors)
I think the videos are really great. And no doubt about the expertise of Eli who seems to be an great instructor as well. That´s why I'm not a big fan of sharing it with everybody. There is much detail which is really useful operators but as well for the bad guys.
Information is always a bit of a double edged sword in that way. It's how the information gets used that will make the difference. Training more efficiently and harder than the enemy is just as important as fighting more efficiently and harder than the enemy. Eventually all combat information becomes outdated and there will be a new processes because the old process got countered enough times. Combat is always evolving beyond just the evolution of technology.
The way the classroom scenes are filmed look like bootlegged movies lolz I feel like I'm watching something stolen for free because it's so good. I really like how easy these are to understand and apply. "A master simplifies things."-James Yeager. Thanks for sharing!
These videos are gold! One thing I'm not super confortable with though, and maybe someone can explain it to me, is having my gun pointing down during clearing the door threshold. I understand why you do it (to avoid revealing your barrel), but I'd be tempted instead to take a step back from the door and having my gun up during the whole drill.
I'm implementing this s*** in my BF4 gaming, let's go!!! Squad up. All jokes aside, this is a top notch CQB video with real knowledge being passed on 🤜🤛.
The perspective regarding the decisions to be made is very interesting, their priority, some things may be debatable, but certainly there is no perfect system, an individual could detonate an explosive when entering the first or second operator and it would be finished. Everything, so it is extremely difficult to have a perfect response, since there is none, I think that what this training delivers is an average response of high effectiveness. For me it opens up a question in another sense, how do I design a more effective ambush against these room cleaning techniques? I really liked the flashlight and as you point out the most exposed parts, this is very useful for training, therefore, designing countermeasure defense techniques help to be more aware of both scenarios of operations, when I am more aware of what my enemy can do. Thanks for sharing.
You know someone is a good teacher when you personally will never be in situation that requires this information outside something like battlefield 4 but it makes so much sense and is so well explained that you watch the whole thing and use it to improve your game play. These corner and room slicing tactics really keep you alive in virtual battlefields and real ones. In virtual ones these tactics may not help so much due to over aggression, essentially in a game someone won't hesitate to fire AT weaponry or grenade launchers at the doorway or engage you through the walls upon just upon hearing your approach rather than wait for visual confirmation. In real life I assume people aren't so aggressive but I am in no way an expert in real life situations like this and hope not to be in them ever.
Well !! Its been over half a year now since I have seen ALL the cqb videos I was interested in this for the Airsoft Sport So For a civillian this is actually stuff I could benefit from Of course Airsoft is different because no one values "his life" here, thus it is more intense and stressfull because you will fight people "who have nothing to lose" SO not getting hit / shot for a continous amount of time becomes veeery hard. But let me tell you this: I kind of thought from the very beginning back then, that there is a high competence in these videos, I just knew it from my expectations and chose this to start training. After over 6 months of Airsoft I just applied this and tweaked some things out of my own mind to adapt to a more sport like environment (vs bare survival on the reality) AND -> I started wrecking people who are 10 years plus into the game, gained a lot of respect and even get asked for tips and such.. up to the point where my team mates with 12 + years of experience already take me fully serious and respect me as one who is on the same level as them. SO not only is the pure content of this video confirmed gold but also if you seee these videos with the task "not only learn from him BUT ALSO try to think like him and why he made his teachings like this" you will quickly derive your own teachings and tips with the same lvl of simplicity and add this to your needs of course I wasnt that good over night, but the learning curve exploded with each day I was playing very fast. I not only learned something, he changed the way I am thinking Very nice videos all of them
Move and return fire. Obtain fire superiority. Direct the casualty to shoot or move to cover and begin self aid. When fire superiority is achieved, the casualty can be assisted by other team members.
Thank you again and again Instructor Sense and UF Pro by still "Positive Feeding" my CQB brain, putting all these essentials and Inputs to ensure execution. Salamat 👏👏👏
Oh fuck, this keeps coming? CQB instruction like this is like a dream for people like me who don't get to do absolutely anything this cool in life, not even airsoft.
I mean, im a civilian but I can tell you with confidence that combat sports like airsoft and real combat are very different. you gotta remember that the reason this training exists is because people die for not having the knowledge, and thats a thing I have no experience of and really hope never to have to deal with.
@@skirmishcustoms2595 no joke, I remember saving a few small unit tactics visualizations and CQB guides to a few of my playlists back before I downloaded videos I wanted to save, and having a few of those videos I "saved" getting removed advice: it's not a bad idea to upload the videos you download to a mega.nz account some people call it data hoarding, but I call it precautions
Excellent video, and very informative. I can't say I agree with every last thing, but for sure I understand and respect your logic and how it informs your decisions. Also, your focus on single/pair/small team tactics is very helpful. I (and I think other viewers) would highly appreciate a video from you specifically on approaching a building/structure, there don't seem to be any videos on UA-cam about this, and I'm sure there are ways to improve on the traditional techniques. Also, from my experience in force on force scenarios there is a significant risk when moving along a tubular space, such as a hallway, for the enemy to inflict serious casualties when blindfiring from around corners/doorways. Most force on force training seems to forbid this tactic for whatever reason, but it is commonly used by our enemies overseas, especially given their lack of training/experience. Would you mind sharing your thoughts on how to counter this? Thanks again, me and my team hope to look more into limited penetration to expand our options in cqb situations.
Eli, if I may ask, at the 20:26 mark, then you're demonstrating how the femoral and thigh are exposed, couldn't that be minimized by bumping shoulders gun to your support side, before hitting that angle? Would you recommend that? Thank you Sir, and especially for all the amazing content! 🙏🏼🙌🏽
11:22 to hit someone You need only one bullet. Basically i can shhot from behind that door 5 times with high rate of fire centre, left, right, center up, centre down. This is a high probability, means hi risk is it? Do we need risry situation in case of protecting hostage or guiding them to safety? (im not an expert, just find this question interesting) Thanks for video any way
I' have been enjoying these videos, thanks. Very informative and very clear presentation of the principles and details. One thing I have not seen yet is what to do in a case where you're confronted with a situation with two doors opposite one another. for example you might be in a hallway and come to a door on your left, and door on your right. Both are open and possibly containing threats. DO you have a video on this or have any thoughts on how to approach that sort of scenario?

As well as side effects of it. All part of good judgement when things get critical.
This is amazing. We need more of this.
I find it satisfying watching the end result of how you move and clear each room...looks structured, comfortable and just professional as hell. Cool video very informative
Tasmanian Tiger.
You are a respectable and intelligent person, and you explain very well and beautifully, and you check important details 🇸🇾Greetings to you from Syria
One of the reasons why this channel is the only one where I turned notifications on!
BZ, I'm glad to see someone is actually putting out real world useful information. Keep it coming.
The only mistake I’ve made is not liking this video fast enough. Great work Eli and great video 👍
Really appreciate the work you put into these videos. Keep the good work up, and thanks.
Excellent video, great editing, very good details and explanations! Thank you and please keep these vids coming! God Bless!
I've learn so much watching theses video. I just followed Project Gecko too for more knowledge. As a civilian its so great to have an expert like this making easy to absorb this information. You can practice in your home with dry fire and learn the movements. This all becomes muscle memory.
😎🤙
Its crazy to think I learned how to slice a doorway or corner in Sierra's Police Quest: SWAT back in 1995 when I was only 13. Now Im 38.
🤘
You guys are doing great job...
Seriously this is awesome..
Crystal clear. Loving the highly logical and detail approach of your teachings, thanks for the good work!
Thanks a lot, this is a gold mine of real, no bullshit knowledge and tactics. Helps a lot during airsoft matches and, of course, tactics training (way to impress the instructors)
Another great video. Thank you UFPro and Eli (project gecko)
Can't stop watching and learning, awesome, smart, simple
Und wieder mal ein klasse Video. Männer Hut ab und bitte noch mehr Videos mit Eli.🤙
It is awesome to have info like that available for free. Great thanks
This guy is the Firas Zahabi of the tactical world. Very good! Thanks.
BEAUTIFUL! A work of art! Can't wait to train with you!
This video is Solid. Kudos to the production team. 🎥
Fantastic series btw. I love analyzing these tactics.
I cannot believe this is free. Very good info.
Great video! I like how you explain everything in depth
I would've loved seeing a real life example of a center fed room. But, I really enjoyed this video and it was extremely informative and professional.
The way the classroom scenes are filmed look like bootlegged movies lolz I feel like I'm watching something stolen for free because it's so good. I really like how easy these are to understand and apply. "A master simplifies things."-James Yeager. Thanks for sharing!
Yeager was pushing all dynamic, has that changed recently?
Good job, knowledge is something they can never take away from you!
Amazing content and very well explained.
I like the way he kept saying everything is for the next episode... Great promotion skill
true cqb by far that ive seen around youtube keep the good work and thank you for sharing youre knollege
Thanks for sharing.
perfect, great operational performance in simple techniques. Brazil
This is amazing, wish my NCOs knew this much when I went through the Army!
Well !!
Its been over half a year now since I have seen ALL the cqb videos
I was interested in this for the Airsoft Sport
So For a civillian this is actually stuff I could benefit from
Of course Airsoft is different because no one values "his life" here, thus it is more intense and stressfull because you will fight people "who have nothing to lose"
SO not getting hit / shot for a continous amount of time becomes veeery hard.
But let me tell you this:
I kind of thought from the very beginning back then, that there is a high competence in these videos, I just knew it from my expectations and chose this to start training.
After over 6 months of Airsoft I just applied this and tweaked some things out of my own mind to adapt to a more sport like environment (vs bare survival on the reality)
AND -> I started wrecking people who are 10 years plus into the game, gained a lot of respect and even get asked for tips and such.. up to the point where my team mates with 12 + years of experience already take me fully serious and respect me as one who is on the same level as them.
SO not only is the pure content of this video confirmed gold but also if you seee these videos with the task "not only learn from him BUT ALSO try to think like him and why he made his teachings like this" you will quickly derive your own teachings and tips with the same lvl of simplicity and add this to your needs
of course I wasnt that good over night, but the learning curve exploded with each day I was playing very fast. I not only learned something, he changed the way I am thinking
Very nice videos all of them
@UF PRO Please do more of these, everyone loves them and it's been getting your brand a lot of recognition.
This series is great and I can't wait to see more- would love to know how a few man team would react to casualties upon entry if we get the chance
I found it informative and incredibly detailed. Thank you for posting this stuff.
Best video on CQB very easy to understand
thank you for sharing this potential life saving content, blessings to you and all involved.
Best of the best 👌🏼🪖Love the flow!
I am just a civie but I find the information you teach amazing.
I'm so glad youtube hasn't taken this down
Same dude... If you're paranoid like me, you might want to download it as an MP4, just encase...
@@cringeyidiotterry for sure, youtube is a very fickle website
@@skirmishcustoms2595 no joke, I remember saving a few small unit tactics visualizations and CQB guides to a few of my playlists back before I downloaded videos I wanted to save, and having a few of those videos I "saved" getting removed
advice: it's not a bad idea to upload the videos you download to a mega.nz account
some people call it data hoarding, but I call it precautions
@@cringeyidiotterry thats good advice
Good content, especially the “You can’t be 100% safe” so you focus on what is the most safe the largest percentage of the time.
A lot of good information here
Feel like i should of paid a lot of money to be on this course but instead im watching it on youtube sat on the sofa. Insanely good info
Thank you. Really good Video
😎🤙
11:22 to hit someone You need only one bullet. Basically i can shhot from behind that door 5 times with high rate of fire centre, left, right, center up, centre down. This is a high probability, means hi risk is it? Do we need risry situation in case of protecting hostage or guiding them to safety? (im not an expert, just find this question interesting) Thanks for video any way
I love this man. When he ecplains everything & says:" makes sence??" I love that moment. Could you mention his account???
Jak zawsze pełna profeska:)
Thank you for another great video from UF pro and Project Gecko!
Amazing videos, as a warthog I have no need to pie corners but you earned a sub nonetheless!
Opposing doors is hard.
Mike glover made a good point on the doors just look thru the crack in the door where the hinges are that easy
